Great Video!!! I was at the festival, you actually got a shot of me in the Heaven Hill line. Great scores as well! I wish I would have went to Cox's Creek on Saturday. I thought it would a total mess and didn't bother. I was able to get some great bottles as well.
Yeah I was thrilled with the bottles I got!! And yes, I was recognized 2-3 times which was a fun experience. Doesn't happen to me often but guess the chances are pretty high at a bourbon festival to be recognized haha. Cheers!
We have thought about going to the KBF, but I was guessing it would be: wall to wall people, lots of standing in line, anything fun would be uber expensive. Does the experience live up to the hype without emptying the bank account? Any recommendations on places to stay for lodging?
You mentioned that you went on the third day, Sunday one year. Were all the vendors still there or were things winding down? Curious if it’s worth staying in town for the third day? Thanks and I enjoy your channel.
Most of the vendors are still there! We still had a blast that first year only going on Sunday. Honestly it might be a good day to go with slightly less crowds. But in my opinion if you spend both Friday and Saturday at the festival Sunday is more of an optional day. Thanks for watching and cheers!
We had a great time without the VIP. You maybe miss a chance for early entry and some options for chasing festival picks and some limited releases, but honestly there's just so much we didn't feel we missed anything.
Russell’s 15 @ Kroger’s? Impressive! Great video!
First time at KBF for me, was a blast! You must have hit the Hebron Kroger drop! We were able to score a RR15 and Bday!

Three amazing bottles you've got there!
Did anyone recognize you from the channel at the Festival?

Question, is this a festival for Kentucky bourbon or a bourbon festival in Kentucky? (Are there non Kentucky distillers there?)
Kroger drop eh ? You near Cincy?
I am thinking about going, is it worth it to pay the VIP?

What does a ticket cost for the festival?
$180 for 3 day this year
