How to Read Karting Data - Track Map

So often we go to the track and can see our drivers making mistakes with their driving, but after explaining it to them, they continue to drive the same way.
But when we are able to show them either a video, photo or a track map, that visual in front of them has more of an impact.
Using the Race Studio software, there is a track map element that can draw the race lines your driver is circulating. Overlay this with another driver who might be more experienced, and it will show the change in race lines.
In simple terms... This shows exactly what a faster driver is doing, so your driver can see it in front of them!
There are also other elements we use the Track Map feature for including checking how the Lambda settings are around the racetrack, RPM when changing sprockets and grip levels when cornering.
You don't need to be a rocket scientist to improve your knowledge and what you can extract from the data.
