Hi Dave, I’m sure they can, but why they don’t, I do not know. It seems a very great car to me, for sure in areas with lots of sunshine.

Hello Joaquim, well, that is partly correct. Let me explain; for the Lightyear 0 the production stopped, due to lack of income. But the technology and intellectual ideas are owned by the mother company. So they desided to go on, at least cornice, with the Lightyear 2. For this model they have lots of lease companies and people who have preordered… looks a bit like Tesla…. So now we’ll wait and time will tell probably.
@@futuretransportnews I know the stopped the plans to produce the 0 and went right for the lightyear 2, but I think I've read in "eletreck" that the company lightyear declared bankrupcy. Not the manufacturer, but the mother company itself

The manufacturer is not part of the cooperation. The Sistercompany “ Lightyear Layer” own’s the rights and makes the solarpanels.They seem to have the right to go on.
