- About the Upload: Folks, with sheer luck, a lot of phone calls and promptness of by dear brother @thesixfiftyguy I was able to get my hands on the first piece of official Royal Enfield Pannier for my Super Meteor 650 (Astral Black).
Price Paid: 23,900/- (Including Panniers, Rails and Bolts)
Installation Cost - 0/-
Packaging: 2 Boxes (1 for Panniers / 1 for Rail and Bolts)
Source: Sultan Bhai (Manager, Royal Enfield - Okhla, New Delhi)
Time to Install: 3.5 Hours (Since No Manual was Available even at Service Center)
In general, you can procure it from Odyssey Auto, Manesar (Contact Prashant Ji - +91 98714 38822)

These are the only panniers which go well with the bike in terms of aesthetics. Panniers from other brands look like boxes installed.
Absolutely true brother! This is like that perfect marriage that other brands could never have with the SM650.
Looks really nice but how will this be practical for touring as they are not detachable when you reach your hotel ?
Hi! You can buy a ziplock or chain locked inner bag. All major companies manufacture those. Its convenient. Easy to carry. Same as all cruisers have. A fixed casing and inner carry bags for both sides.
You're absolutely right! For some people, looks matter more than a practical luggage solution. These look ridiculously small to be of any practical value. 🙏🏻
Hello, I also bought them and got it fixed by RE service center. But mujhe sirf ek key mili per pannier. Wanted to know is RE selling these costly panniers with just one key per box? What if the key gets lost?
No sir. We have received two keys. Both are same keys. But two in number. Please contact your agency or provider and ask to provide you second copy too.
My panniers and rear signal lights have started to rub wholes into each other. Has anyone else had this issue?

What size is this? Looks quite impractical with low volume in the video. I didn't realise people bought panniers for enhancing the "looks". Thought it was a practical luggage solution, put on when touring and take off when commuting. I mean it needs to be aesthetic to some extent, but more importantly it needs to be a practical luggage solution. And these are original RE products? 🙏🏻😀
Yes Rajeev! They are by Royal Enfield. You get 20L storage on each side. They do make the ride look great, and for all utility purposes seem to be decently sturdy as well.

It can be. They will have to open the existing setup and rewire. But yes, it can be.

I am waiting a year now for the panniers. Any clue why it takes so long? My dealer says they will come end of mai or beginning of June... I hope he is right.

With combined capacity of 40 liters , these have practically no use , just good looking stuff on bike .
Depends. If you are someone who carried in bulk, they may not be enough. Works for me quite well.

No. They will remain fixed.
Will it look good with celestial blue variant?
Could be. You can get it painted in your choice of colour. Right now only black colour has been released by RE.

I saw these at the service centre. Bad design, impractical, low space capacity, fixed, which .eans you carry your own bag instide 🙄. I wonder why RE is asking us to pay 19k plus for such a useless product? 🙏🏻🇮🇳
Some would agree and some may find it useful and a good fit. I think you re right on the space part. Fitment wise and for regular purpose it works just fine.
