Best video on making a kimono. Easy and simple to follow. No unrelated commentary to make the video longer. Thank you. You are very good at what you do. Looking forward to viewing your other videos.
☘️🌝🌲
Pins not needles,
Needles are what you sew with
Pins are to hold material together you can’t sew with them
But nicely done. I love it and the paper was brilliant examples
Love your instructions! So easy to follow the directions and great overhead shots of what you were doing every step of the way! Thanx! . . . and never mind all the sour grapes correcting you. You did a great job on showing us how to make the "kimono."
You did a great job on this video! I’ve seen others, but they were confusing. This one was quick, simple, and easy to understand! I’m going to be looking for the perfect scarf to make this! Very cute!
This was the best tutorial I've seen! Good job.
I love how you explained. Easy to follow so I can practice with my old scarves. Thank you
This is lovely, I would suggest using the cut out bits to make a bag to match or add pockets, then its 0 waste as well!
Love this idea with the left overs
Your direction is great
I've been wanting a Kimono for a long time but never wanted to spend the amount of money on one. THANK YOU MUCHO - you are a rock star.

I really liked this tutorial.
I have a degree in Fashion Design and I have one little suggestion....
Iron!
But other than that, you are awesome
Very clear instructions. The finished product was cute. Thanks!
Wow !!!!!!!! Now I can have my very own kimono for the spring and summer. Thank you Mellison
Needles are what you sew with, you are using pins to pin the material together.
There are those who use the correct terminology and their instructions are purely awful because of too much talking and poor visuals. Doesn't matter what words Mellison used and if you really want to get technological about it, the correct word is "straight pins."
Wow it is fabulous! 🙋♀️ I want to make a bit longer one so I would need a wider shaw I believe. Thanks wonderful and easy! 👍
Really, my dear, great work. Loved your fabric for a Kimono.
Aw, man, I just found your channel and your DIYs are so awesome! They're really simple and easy to follow, and they look amazing! You just got yourself a new subscriber. :D
These are expensive, in Topshop around £40-50, so thank you much appreciated! I'd love to see more sewing tutorials :-))
wow i never thought to use a scarf with fringe... definitely saves me adding the fringe myself ... thanks !

this is cute! i did another diy kimono but im gonna try this one next! and did you say "Hey home slice" at the beginning of the video?!? hahaha ive played it like 50 times and the more i play it the more im NOT sure of what you said!
Adorable and easy! How can I make the sleeves longer?TY
Thank you
Good video for a young person. Learn some terms and tools though...those are pins not needles. Needles are that with which you sew. Pins pin things together.
LynnMoser thanks for pointing out the fact that she was calling pins needles, it was driving me crazy. She did a great job on her kimono. I would have sewn another seam about a quarter of an inch in from the zig zag stitch.
OK I am a total novice with sewing. would it be even better if you zig zag stitched and then ran a straight stitch right through the center or is that just a waist of time?
Yes! You heard me correctly, I did say hey homeslice (:
hi,gr8 going.very nice.best wishes.
Thx sweety
Really thank you❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so mutch!
Your method is awesome! How wide does the scarf or material need to be?
The scarf I used was 27.5 inches wide x 72 inches long. If you have longer arms, I would suggest using fabric other than an a scarf so you can add a couple more inches and assure that it fits perfectly!
she tells you in the begining of the video~

Needles you sew with and pins do what they say pin please say it correctly as people who don't sew will be confused and by using y wrong thing they could hurt themselves it's a health and safety issue
nice & v.simple
Fun fact, the kimono you made is a jacket called a haori
Who cares what it's called. At least Mellison showed us how to make one and knowing the name doesn't make it come out any better.
pelucitadered Just sharing a fun fact :P
Ok ::::: thumbs up :::::
Non capisco il metraggio necessario grazie
Wow
Eu ameiiii 😍😘👏👏👏
La carta è un A4...???
