I think the host didn't mean harm to question if both her parents are "Asians", I think he was just curious, although I think he shouldn't have pushed it when they clearly were feeling uncomfortable. I think the mom was trying to protect her daughter, but I am glad that her daughter shared it. it's her life story, there is nothing wrong with it, and she will learn to tell it with pride.

Definitely, definitely a well brought up, well mannered, humble, honest and pretty Malaysian girl. But singing wise, I hope she can get a better singing tutor. Her voice lacks control, is rather flat and lacks variations, and has no body (or volume). Her pitching is also not so good. But she most certainly sings better than me and I believe that as she matures and receives better training, she will one day become a great singer. All the best to you Pei Ling!!

Startiger Zhao 应该是有印度血统的混血，因为马来西亚的印度人几乎都是黑的。大概率混的马来人，华人的话不会轻易抛弃孩子，但是马来人由于宗教原因与异教徒结合可能不顺利。
