      Hey! TVS hasn't revealed the cost of replacing the battery. It has a warranty of 3 years or 50,000km, whichever is earlier.

    biggest reason for worry among potential electric vehicle buyers, is firstly the inevitable and eventual battery replacement. there are no two ways about it, all Li-on batteries wear post a certain number of discharge cycles, after that, the range of the vehicle will be impacted severely and in increasing order after every charge.

    I wish more people buy 2 wheelers from TVS, Hero, Bajaj and other Indian brands rather than Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha etc especially in scooter segment.
    I own a TVS Jupiter, it's as good as Activa or Access, all of them have some shortcoming in some areas and are better than other in some, but overall there's almost nothing separating them.
    TVS has improved a lot in the past decade and is on par if not better than it's Int'l peers.
    TVS iQube looks good overall, hope it becomes a leader in the EVs.

    Most of the savings goes done the drain once you factor into battery replacement every 4 yr(40000 rs) 🐱.So,your savings is only around 20-30 k and the resale value is less.

  • @VJ-bl2oj
    @VJ-bl2oj 3 года назад +1

    Please factor in the battery replacement cost after 4-5 years since one would use this product for at least 10 years. Later compare resale value for both after 10 years. Battery will degrade and you won’t get any resale value on the u cube. Doesn’t make a strong case to me.

    I think the ebike/scooter companies should work more on their range means 50-70km is not enough...bcs generally in india people drive nearly 80-100km in a day just bcs of their work and charging them every day for a 5 hr is not possible 😐
