The Gospel and Sexual Minorities, 3.4: The Power of Acceptance

This is the fourth and last sub-part of part 3 in our series on sexual minorities and the restored gospel. Here we discuss a powerful and yet seemingly simple concept of acceptance. As we have said repeatedly through this presentation (and will again), while our feelings are not directly under our chosen control, how we think about them, how we respond to them, definitely are, and for most of us, these reactions are actually a larger contributor to our happiness or misery than the actual feelings themselves. Acceptance is a key part of shifting from shame/pride into joy and peace and gratitude.
