- In the Pokemon TCG, Mega Evolution Pokemon were a very powerful subset of Pokemon EX. These cards were so strong that whenever you evolved a Pokemon into its Mega form, your turn would immediately end unless you had that card’s appropriate Spirit Link Tool card attached. Today, we’re going to look at the top 10 Mega Pokemon EXs in TCG's history.

Almost every mega that doesn't appear on this list was pretty bad honestly. Megas were, overall, a dissapointing mechanic on the TCG. Maybe in the future, if the Kalos remakes reintroduce them, we will see an upgrade in their playability.
Most megas sucked, it would be difficult to make a bottom 10 when so many are unplayable

M Mewtwo EX released in XY Breakthrough in Nov 2015. A whole year before the end of the XY sets. The first SM set released in Feb 2017. So no idea what you were talking about there.
Slight correction the purple ancient trait is Theta not Delta.

Im surprised the original Mega Blastoise didnt make the cut. It only saw experimentation in standard, but expanded really helped thanks to aqua patch and Archie's ace in the hole
I would love to see a video on the top 10 most unique/special card. Some examples would be ________'s Pikachu from celebrations, Imakuni?'s Doduo from Evolutions, the japanese Exeggutor from Evolutions, First Ticket from Dragon Vault
Birthday Pikachu isn't all that special, it's been around for decades and had multiple different variants befire Celebrations.

as someone who only started playing pokemon in the last few months, i can see how bad power creep has been when most of these show up my thought is 'wow this is just a bad version of x' like audino is bad dragapult ex
I grew up with the power creep and understand where you're coming from. I didn't realize how much it actually was even post tag team
Tag Team was the set that boosted the power creep from gradual to ridiculous
Surprised M Gyradoes isn’t on this list. x4 Aqua Patch x4 Mega Turbo x4 Dive Ball made it extra consistent and could hit hard!
I really expect the return of Mega Evolution in the TCG with Legends ZA and the gen 10, in which we will not forced to use Spirit Link on it and, instead, Mega Evolutions will cost 3 prizes, as it should be. The downside is the discontinuity of the fairy type though .-.)
