The mantra he is playing (the two notes) is a meditation I've been humming since I was a child. I was shocked to hear it being chanted by the Sikhs. Definitely a good indication that I may have found some of my history from a previous life.
I used to think sihkism was weird and not worth studying but when I did I found it to be one of the most simple peaceful religions and the scriptures and music are great white UK born male
Some of us are just born sikhs and just read the scriputures like a parrot, without really listening to the message and practicing the treasure given to us. We need to be honest enough to experiment for ourself and make Gurbani a part of us and I KNOW the truth is/will be revealed to us during our journey in this precious life. Imagine how sweet will be the Gurbani once we start experiencing it!! Yes Simran absolutely gives the mind a single focus of presence of being one with God...to whatever degree a person is willing to committ.....make sure it is from Love from heart (not mechanical)...try it for a yourself..
