Very compact, but powerful machine! You make free hand look easy. It would take me a while to get that muscle memory going. Overall, it's a very impressive system! Working on knives is my passion, so this might just be the next step for me! Thanks for bringing it to the channel!
Just found your channel. I've been a HUGE fan of Worksharp since day one. I've had every type of sharpener they offer with the exception of the 2 latest versions (this one and the PRO PA). Really enjoy the content so far. 🍻
So for years I've planned on building a 2 x 72 and recently when I was looking for conditioning belts for you I noticed the prices for belts for these and what my actual needs are and what kind of space I have. It seemed like a no-brainer to me. I've been saving and waiting for the new one to drop and I'm going to pick one up for sure. I'll do some mods to it for sure, because the safety guards get in the way and just a place for waste material build up. I probably will also make a stand that it mounts to so I can turn it 90* and use it horizontal. I do a lot of small art and fabrication and I think this compact little unit will work better for me than building a full size grinder. And because the unit has been so popular with these small belts, the belts are easy to find and are super cheap. I can't wait!
