    I had a lot of people ask why not the 20" Crash?! So I went ahead and got myself a 20" and did a Version 2.0!! Check it out here!!

    I think Sabian AAX tops any Zildjian series nowdays. These are true tone, clean sounding cymbals that don't have any annoying nuances or "custom" sound

    Are the hi hats Aax-xplocions too?

    • @ZackZweifel
      @ZackZweifel  8 месяцев назад

      No those are 14" and 15" AAX Medium hats. I have some videos on them too if you want to hear them by themselves. I love the heavier weight for my hats.

    I love the 18" and 20" Personally because I love big cymbals and I love the Yay sound effect

      Glad I could help! I'm taking my 16" off and maybe making a stack with it... we'll see. But I just got the 20" in and now I'm going to go with 17"-20". Or I may just loose the second China and do all 5 crashes lol

    Bryan Gribbin recommended your channel! I always have used Paiste or Zildjian but this video got me to reconsider Sabians. Liked and subscribed

      Get out! Thanks so much! Lots of Sabian on my side... I've used them since a beginner to now and played pretty much every series.

    Very nice assortment! Sound Good. I'm partial to the Zildjian K-Sweet line, but would not turn down what you are rock'n here!

    I noticed the 17 is a 17 fast and not the same model as the others.

    • @ZackZweifel
      @ZackZweifel  Год назад +1

      I was waiting for someone to notice and call it out. When I ordered them not sure if they sent me the wrong one or if I somehow ordered that one incorrectly. But you are correct, technically thr 17 is a Fast Crash which I believe makes it even thinner than the standard Xplosion

      @ChannelOfDiscord Год назад +2

      @@ZackZweifel I came across this video doing research obviously before a purchase. Here's a detail I discovered on the Sweetwater page for the 17: In addition to size, you can select thickness. The thinner option is the 17 Fast, and the medium thin option is the normal 17. I went with a 17 Fast. Good stuff.

    I live hours away from stores, so it's difficult to test anything. Do you think the 18" crash could be used as a ride for smaller gigs? Sabian has so few 18" crashes, and this ones weighs more than say the Anthology line of rides. Thank you.

    • @ZackZweifel
      @ZackZweifel  6 месяцев назад

      You know honestly I've actually used it several times for super small gigs with my dads band. I have a Sonor Martini kit and I use it as a crash ride. It's a little washy but works for me when I need it. Bell works great and crashes nicely of course. If you want, give me a couple of days and I could throw a small video together using it as a ride

    Now that is how you do a video. Awesome job showcasing them! I just bought the cymbal pack with the 16, 18, hi-hat and ride. Might add on later as needed.

      Agreed. Got a drummer here who's goal is to display the sound of cymbals, and without trying to land 15 secs of fame as a stick chopper.
