- The Triceratops is one of the most common soakers in the game right now! It is absolutely crushing and stunning when it enters buildings. The frontal bullet reduction is absolutely amazing and it is up there for one of my favorite things to use when soaking! It can be dangerous though.....
This video is part of my soaker a day series which is going to be testing the different under powered and over powered soakers of ark! This is meant to educate people on some the things they could be using to soak but are not, or how to properly use the tames they might have. At the end of this mini series I will rate the soakers in one final video, showing which ones are the most powerful!!!!!

Finally, a decent tank
You should ask some official pvp players about these things. The aberrant dinos take more damage and the whip trick is essential to trike soaking. This series is excellent but I feel like the real real reason it’s needed is because so much of the content creating player base doesn’t really know what’s good.
It does seem like he doesn’t exactly know what he’s doing, he’s missing some key parts like how much ammo is actually being soaked along with extra tips which are different from mount to mount like the whip etc. This isn’t providing any information that hasn’t already been put out there and isn’t doing it in an easy to understand way. Maybe compile a spreadsheet as he goes along the series stating different facts
I always appreciate the feedback. I am releasing just the videos on the dinos themselves for the beginning. I will rank them all based on health and reduced damage as a final video! Then I will also have a video about tips and tricks that I don't include in these. If I add all of the things I want to, the videos end up being like 20 minutes. So I am trying to break it down a little bit more. I also plan on showing how to counter each of these things!!! Thoughts?

also people need to remember gas masks while on racers.
IF you are trying to raid a crouch point especially glow tail turtles are number 1. put c4 on tail, whip turtle in. 6x splash will 1 shot anything near it. If they are online you can easily force them to chose between letting you turtle soak or losing turrets to c4
@@TeachersGameToo Oh crap I forgot. Extremely important meta technique with the gas bag is wedging it.
The tek turrets push them away. So in early soaking guides people say "this can't be used against tek" But in many situations on aberration for example, you find a corner in the ceiling and the turrets will not be able to push you away. This is also true for caves. or wedging yourself in spam In many ways this has kind of led to the gas bag taking many niches formerly held by trike. because the gas bag can also escape where as you often can't escape with your trike. So it can be good to have a couple gas bags with higher 02 than others. But if you are just offline raiding someone, higher health is better.
The counter to this is tek fist punch or plant z but if you hesitate hundreds if not thousands of bullets can be lost in in about a minute.
Creatures that are Aberrant have 4% less health, deal 6% more damage

I wanted to tame a tri for raiding a xplant base on a beginner server.
Now i am going to have a look for another tame.
It takes reduced dmg from plants the devs changed it

@@marneu7927 np but you should be able too run the plant x or rocket them they dont do much dmg and are slow
I believe that if you equip a whip while on the back of the trike and then look down, you are able to avoid getting shot by ARB turrets as high as 7 walls above you. Tek turrets is a different story due to splash I think.
Someone correct me if that doesn't sound correct.
It doesn't really matter the height of the turrets it's all about your angle of approach. If your angled down you can't soak turrets like 2-3 walls high. If your angled up you can soak turrets very high.

When the tek shots the trike in the head you wont get splashed off that happens only with the pachyrhino
@@camingor6252 you equip the whip and look straight up. ur character will basically be at 90 degrees.
What about mate boost??
Test the 150 perfect with a capped saddle pls
Tbh you can give this dino the best resistance possible if its imprinted, greatly armoured saddle, mate boost buff and its other buff where a big carnivore is near if you can manage to get an opposite tribe to help bring a big carnivore
Unclaiming a large dino also works really well

Definitely need to include tanking with good saddles, dinos like diplo get armour saddle in the 100s whereas trikes and other armoured dinos get nowhere near it. Bronto/racers shine when they have good saddles in comparison to trikes which can do fine with primitive saddles.

Instead of wild tame you should do them with imprint and a good saddle because no one will ever take a tamed soaker with a prim saddle for a raid
There is a difference between regular and aberrant trikes. Aberrant trikes have more base melee but less base health, so the normal trike is the better soaker.
Tek trike is better, they can get additional stats and get some more levels.
@@KingOfCha0z right now you can't transfer tek trikes due to a bug. The only way to move them between maps is to breed them and transfer with the eggs.
Pretty sure your hp's isn't correct that had 2.7 hp and went to 22k or 23k my raised ones are just hitting past that

Never soak at an upwards angle got shot off and I respawned top of screen said your triceratops lvl 253 triceratops was kill by c pocket op lvl 263 wooly rhino that trike was imprinted 16k prim saddle but died unofficial btw day 1cso I didn’t have mutated trikes
What do you mean underused? Tribes are one of the most used soakers
Recently they have been used a lot less in preference to racers, due to the easy way to counter them online. But a charge method with multiple trikes is really op!
Lol trike op jst different soakers for diff scenarios never will you soak a deathwall gott do angles and few turrets at a time. Jst so the noobs know nice vid btw
He lasted a really long time lol 200k health I have my own boosted server's on ps4 and with 3x health mutation I can only get around 130k health btw any1 Intrested in on a balanced pvp server on ps4 ARKSOULS50x we have discord as well
