Most of the unforced errors done by the Greek player were through forehand attack. Forehand vs forehand was the most comfortable and convenient for Álvaro. If he continued using the backhand chopping he could have won the three sets at once.
Everybody seems to have the perfect formula against pimples, but in a real match it's always hard to deal with it. Álvaro was okay at not losing his nerves and keeping calm. That's was the key for him.
Nice win from Robles! Vamos!!🎉🇪🇦 A chopper of Gionis' caliber is not easy to beat...

the colours black and green don't look to cool to me and the net is blending with the table , i can bearly see it on screen .... to me is awekward this black and green combination ...

Robles continued to pump his half-speedy forehands to Gionis’ forehand-side and Gionis made the mistake to go into forehand-to-forehand rallies. Robles had more trouble with Gionis backhand-side.
But to say that Robles didn’t do anything is mean. He kept shooting his top-spins from both sides with good spin but without the speed that some other players have.
But remember the new Chinese generations defeat against Hou-Ying-Chau about two years ago! It Takes power and mind to beat good choppers.
Nice match. Robles's forehand loop is suspect, but he is consistent enough to muddle through, despite misreads.

Гионису нужно заканчивать.Ему откровенно не хватает физухи, чтобы держать концентрацию весь матч. Отсюда бесконечные поражения в матчах, где он вел 2-0, 3-1, 3-0. Роблес ничего сам не сделал, просто собрал ошибки Гиониса, когда тот встал от усталости.
