You're definitely my favorite Table Tennis channel. You get so many different players and such good clips rather than making five compilations of the top two or three players. It's really great :)

Excellent video about an excellent player. I suggest he to play with a pips pro good in sink spin skills. I think he will enjoy the game especially sink spin.

@@Goo_Gle. Hey, thanks for asking. I played 2 seasons using only long pips and it worked well. I play mostly with inverted rubbers now but sometimes still play with pimples when I know someone will do bad against defensive playstyles or when it's a match I would lose anyway for experience

@@Goo_Gle. In my opinion it's that the long pimple techniques have not been perfected yet. Most teachers and coaches don't know how to give advice on long pimples and defensive playstyles other than "place the ball precisely" or "be patient". That being said I would consider an offensive playstyle better as both players have the same weaknesses and strengths. With long pimples it can go either way. Some players do really bad against them, and others will always find an opening to pressure you very hard. I've won against some players that would win against me normally, but also lost to players that I could beat with normal rubbers. If this is the playstyle you want to go for you can always at least try it, it makes you understand how someone else would use certain techniques like that too
2:14 2-0 sets. This is like a keeper takes 5 goals in a match, but saves 10 incredible shots. So here is the question : what is the point of all that if you can't win, which is the main reason for all competitions.
Yeah lol Ma long and elite players have a huge advantage over defensive style players, especially with new balls. He still fights well against them and makes them work.

Western defender could really take advantages of long arm span and good table coverage with their height. It's a shame the chopping styles is not very encouraged there.
Haleem ul Hassan No, Samsonov is a defender, but he uses block, not chop... Joo Sae Hyuk is a south-korean chopper and he is at top 20 rankings, he is very good.
Isn't that serve at the start completely illegal? He doesn't come close to tossing the ball vertically. Ding Ning's serve was disqualified for not being vertical enough and that was way more vertical than this.
The offensive players I see here makes lousy drop shots and play predictable offensive, damit change corner when you have the opponent far out to the left or right and not a 1 m high dropshot point which hardly bounces twice on the table. Waldner and Pärsson were expert in that vs Defensive players. The best I have seen was Li gung Sang who won Soc in Sweden in 89. There he was Magnific! However as someone else has said, they rarely win tournaments.

His Defense is not good, in this video all you see was his best shot and some defense also his defense is not a Modern.. .Watch some of his full game with others you will see... Not good at all... The only good defense player I think best of all time is Joo Se Hyuk from Korea...
