Black Myth Wukong - Biggest Mistakes Everyone Makes

- Hello ma dudes!
I have helped enough people via Share Play to see that ALL PLAYERS are making at least one of these mistakes, impacting their gameplay and makng it much harder to kill bosses than it needs to be. Don't underestimate the importance of my advices, especially if you are having a hard time with the game. If you need help via Share Play on PS5, my id is CadimaGP. Add me and I will kill any boss for you. Thanks for watching.
Very good Video … Smart advices.. Thanks ❤
@@folkerputt3781 thank you! Appreciate the support and for watching my content and leaving your comment. Thank you 😊
I will follow you. I played for 3 hours and still can't pass that big headed boss and fired one. I made mistakes and i have a good teacher now. Thank you. ☺️
@SunWukong703 I have boss guides for both bosses you are stuck with. You might find them helpful my friend. Thank you for following the channel and supporting my content
Thanks man i was all over the place and really couldn’t fully grasp the ability tree. Obvious now not correctly anyway. Got a new sub here
@cornellcarpenter834 thank you so much for taking the time to post such a great feedback. I'm glad I could help! Thaks for the sub. Appreciate it
Very informative video, thanks.
I'm just a few hours into the game and I put my early points into the stamina tree (until I got the "dodge doesn't interrupt combos" skill), put 2 points each into stamina amount and health (for peace of mind), 2 points into the left path of "Immobilize"... and am currently working on getting the third focus point unlocked. I put 1 point each into pillar- and thrust stance, just to try out how the overall fighting style will differ from smash stance (which is my main focus) and because I want to practice switching between styles in the middle of combat (at least to see if that is useful to do or not).
After watching this video, I think once the third FP is unlocked, I will go for the left line of Martial Arts next.
That should definitely be your next investment as it overall will help with your damage output. Thanks for watching the video and leaving your comment. Appreciate the support 🙏
Great video outlining the core advices of the game.
One advice I have for you. You don't need to repeatedly emphasize how other people who ask for help are inept, having "completely upside down build" or being "a mess", etc. Even if you don't mean it, you end up sounding like you're pounding your chest about your superiority. Doing away with those statements should help your channel grow faster.
@lanzer22 thank you for the advice. Maybe it came out the wrong way. I meant no disrespect towards those people at all. I meant only to raise awareness that such mistakes can severely impact your gameplay and result in players experiencing higher difficulty than needed when fighting certain bosses. But I fully take your point and appreciate you taking the time to leave your comment on the video. Appreciate the support 🙏
respectfully, stance switching in the middle of fights and incorporating a morsel of each has been the most rewarding part of this game, and it is by no means a try-hard technique. for context i'm under level 100. i think it's very important for players to acclimate to stance switching early.
as for the immediate stamina upgrades, most of them are not important at all simply because perfect dodge exists. even one perfect dodge out of 4 imperfect ones is worth like 4 stamina sparks. the extra focus earned from perfect dodges is admittedly a very important spark but aside from that, you can invest those other sparks in stance stuff and learn some amazing combos. sometimes seeing through an enemy with tactical retreat instead of resolute counterflow is better!
i completely agree with you about the foundation sparks. not needed at all. the mana sparks are the exception, but everything else is not important at all.
@klaggins as much as I understand and agree (to an extent) with the importance of "stance-switch combos", you have to keep in mind 99% of the player base will not even attempt that. That is something you would more likely expect from seasoned players. That is why I advise against it, as a seasoned player would most likely not really need my advice. 😅
Thanks for watching my content and supporting the channel. Appreciate it 🙏
Unless it's against certain enemies doing that is just trying to be flashy rather than useful.
@zZiL341yRj736 there is truth to what you said. But again, that's why I advise against it, as I said. 😅
Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it ma dude
Yeah, some enemies are actually awful for certain stances, like Yellow Loong was designed for Thrust stance, while for Smash stance he COUNTER back my see-through counters.
Some enemies are easier to reach with Pillar or Thrust but Smash do the most damage. And while Pillar combo is the most garbage with no i-frame/countef mechanics, it's great with Yaksha set, the AoE really helped me a lot in Erlang fight, and the final sweep attack does huge stagger too
@BadEnd98 a very solid reasoning and it does create a varied playstyle. However, as I say in the video, at low levels the priority should be investing in other more needed perks and abilities in my opinion. Thanks for watching the video and supporting my channel. Trully appreciate this
I suggest if you’re a brand new player. I would focus on stamina tree, the smash stance, then focus on your health bar and your stamina points. Because you really need both of those the most in the beginning or first play through. And explore the whole map! Because you will miss out in a lot of items your need like gourds, spirits and spells. My spells I used were immobilize, cloud step, pluck of many, and transformation. I really did not use pluck of many much. Armor set I just was gale armor set and the weapon you want to craft is the Loog staff that sends out the dragon when your charge your pillar stance. That was my set up pretty much until I got to the last chapter.
@@tswvyee you pretty much just reiterate what I said in the video. I'm glad we agree and that we make our builds similarly. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it
@@cadimagamingplace I could go more into details too but it too much lol but great video. I did notice on my first play through I was doing like everyone else was doing and putting points into slots that were not necessary. I will admit I did not know what I was doing. Until a few videos later i refocused my build and focus on what matters the most or for each boss and chapter. That made my game play much more easier but I do recommend grinding if you struggle will a boss or chapter. It makes it a tad easier. I was at lvl 127 on my first play through and now at lvl 189 on my going into my third play through.
@@tswvyee nice! I hope you are enjoying the game as much as I did and continue to do whilst helping others via Share Play. Thanks again for supporting the channel and watching my content.
Level 300?? and here I am boasting to my friend about being level 60 in chapter 3 LMFAO 😂
@oneall23 bro, I'm level 300 in NG+++, chapter 4 (when I made the video). You can see in all my previous build videos I was not overleveled at any stage during NG. Thanks for watching the video though
@@cadimagamingplace I know you wasn't over leveled I know reaching that point takes time and multiple playthroughs I just didn't know levels went that high in this game. So when you said 300 I'm like holy sh@t lol.
@oneall23 max is 347 (I think). But I gotta say after level 200 no really improvement is felt. Thanks again for supporting the channel
@@cadimagamingplace you make great content and I actually made some changes to my build. Imma continue to follow what you said. This game is amazing and challenging but very fun to play.
@oneall23 I appreciate you doing so and taking the time to leave your feedback. Thank you so much bro 🙏
Excellent advice all. And yes I was one of those guilty as charged. Thanks again master. You are the best.
@davidtsmith33 it's not just you brother. I helped about 50 different people and all had the same issues. Once I changed their builds and gave them some guidance, they were doing much better on their own. Always happy to help, you know me! 😉
I loved this video. It’s to the point and easy to follow. Thanks man. Subscribed

Learned a lot by just watching 3 minutes
Whoa, just whoa! Good video man!

I really wish this game had a map of some kind. It's killing me having no idea where the hell I'm going, LOL
I get the feeling. I kinda have a map of it in my head, but surely would make it easier with an actual in-game map. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it
I've watched a lot of tips and tricks videos. I just got done on a second playthrough of elden ring so I could play the dlc. I was excited because I both this game so I could play it once I was done. People make this game seem like it's really simple, Like it's a linear button smasher. It's really not, The open areas or anything but linear, with all the little secrets here and there that aren't really explained, you just gotta kind of figure it out, or look up a guide online. It's a combat It is explained at its most basic level. But it's very nuanced. This game is a lot more similar to elden ring. Then people are admitting. It's different, but I just got done playing Spending a hundred hours in that game, This game is not as simple as I was expected. Which is a pleasant surprise. You have the highest level I have seen so far. I do wish the game did a little better explaining some of the basic mechanics. For example the brew, Initially, I thought it was like a secondary consumable, kinda like the wondrous physic. But I could not figure out a way to equip it or find it to use it. Eventually, I realized it was basically just, it's a load out for the gourd. I appreciate your solid advice, defenitly the greatest mistake I imagine all of us male in the beginning is the use of sparks. Initially you want to spend very wisely, but way later, you can afford to spend for as you please. Just like elden ring.
@zwleathers bro! I gotta say, first of all, THANK YOU! When I saw this post of the video, I just wish I could explain how much I appreciate you and everyone who takes a little bit of their time to watch my content and share their own thoughts , opinions and experiences. That means a lot to me.
When it comes to what you said, I'm completely on the same page. The game is not simple. It's complex and that is making some players have more difficulty than others. I have now completed the game 4 times and have helped more than 80 people via Share Play, killing a total of 200 bosses for them. And I will continue to give as much as I can of me to my subscribers and to this community.
Love your vid. You got a sub from me 👍🏽

Idk what the problem with upgrading multiple stances is, i made it to chapter 4 just fine upgrading all three, switching stances during combat is literally a feature in the game
@ziyadomar5891 you must have missed when I said that "at low levels, it's useless and the focus should be on unlocking skills that are actually benefiting the stance you normally use instead of having points across all three stances and none of them being even remotely good enough because none of them are at full capacity.". It's not a problem, it's just not efficient. That's what I clearly said. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel
Great video man thanks!
@codys8894 you're welcome bro. You would believe the amount of people I see making these mistakes. It's actually scary and explains why so so so many complain they can't beat this boss or that boss. Cause their builds are a mess of stances that turns into a "jack of all trades, but master of none". 😅
@codys8894 thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel
I never used pillar and thrust stance till chapter 4
@OMGGITSDAVID same as me. I only actually used it in chapter 4 cause I got the staff from the 4 loongs. Used it all the way until getting wukong's full set and armour. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it

When I see players invest in Health in the early game it puzzles me; you’re prolonging your inevitable death. Focus on your offensive and resource management skills first.
@kevo1441 that is the same advice I give. Status improvements should only come after melee skills being made available and upgraded. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it
@@cadimagamingplace for sure. Great video btw for players who need some guidance.
@kevo1441 thanks mate. Appreciate it. I just wished it reached more people. I still see thousands of players not really knowing how to make the best of this game and have easy boss fights.
It’s free to reallocate the sparks. So I suggest ignoring your advice and try to find your own way.
@@ljlbobby and that's your choice. Some choices are better than others. But we are all free to make our own. Thanks for taking the time to comment
If I can get passed the chapter 2 boss I’m done as I got the game after the patch so all the glitche players have had the best of the game
I don't agree with that. Glitching is wrong. The game is mean to be challenging and lead the player to overcome the challenge using the weapons and tools designed by the devs. Anyways, thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel
Too late i already finished the first gameplay haha😂😂😂
@nuclearlung fair enough. I am in NG+3 myself but haven't played my own wukong for a while. Now I only play it via Share Play, helping others progress in the game and kill hard bosses for them. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel though. Appreciate it my friend
Dude I have tried everything you have said and I can’t beat erlang and it’s not a dodge issue I literally timed a fight with him and it was 27 minutes long stack qi and everything no luck
If you are on ps5, I can check your build. Sometimes, in my experience after helping more than 100 players via Share Play, the main issues are the build, the lack of enough gourd upgrades or drink upgrades, wrong soaks, etc. Add me and I will help you: CadimaGP
Also, thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it
You didn’t explain why it’s the priority
@purposeinabundance6063 I did. Because having more than once stance at such low levels adds nothing and it's a waste. Focusing on one stance is best to get the most out of it. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it
@@cadimagamingplace thanks where did you get the idea to use the sparks in this way? Was it trial and error
@purposeinabundance6063 I tested several types of sparks distributions. I prioritised different things and than tested each one against the same boss by reloading my save file from the cloud to ensure accurate results. My builds, for every chapter and every boss fight, reflect my findings and tests.
You are eight, we can respect whenever we want, so there's no need to spread points everywhere, that's not a good strategy. Just respec when you need something else I just can agree with - don't use points in transformation skills, you aren't building transformations upgrades only there, you are building your defence and many other skills there so it's really useful, that tree isn'tonly for transformation mate. One point in defense in transformation tree worth two points in defense in foundation tree so be smart read and use skills which will give you more for less
@funky0308 true, but the points are way to important for actual skills than stats increase at low levels (anything under 100). I only started investing in those in NG+ to be honest. Actual skills from stamina, survival, martial arts and the spells are way too important to overlook and go for stats increase or transformation skill tree. But I think ultimately we agree that the most important thing to avoid is double stance investment or double spell investment for spells that use the same slot
I am at level 36 and have 42 sparks points, where shoud i use it to kill tiger vanguard, as I am stuck at him 😢
@rovilsablok2799 check my video for chapter 2 build guide on the channel. You might be missing some of the equipment for now, but all of it can be acquired in chapter 2 and it should give you a good guidance on where to invest your sparks. I noticed you **aren't** using a mana restoring soak. Any reason why?
No bro. I am not using a mana restoring soak. Where did you see that?
@@cadimagamingplace oh it's a typo, I meant to say aren't using a mana restoring soak. I thought the soak is really good so I was asking why you aren't using it
@@saiwaqa2573 I don't think they are that good as it requires you to be at full HP. During progressing through the game, how often are you going to waste using a gourd (when you have so few) at full HP just to recover Mana? I don't agree they are as amazing for a first NG as people say. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate it 🙏
@@cadimagamingplace I think it has it's use to avoid using a shrine by using the gourd to replenish your health/ mana before extracting a spirit which completely refills the gourd. This is why I thought it was useful.
@saiwaqa2573 nut that is the thing. You now KNOW where the spirits are because you have played through the game. But when you first start? How do you know ow a spirit is around? It's a gamble. I'm not going to advice my viewers to take a gamble in such a game. I don't think that is advisable. I do understand your point though. I use it too now that I know the location of all spirits and where I am safe to use spells and waste mana cause I got a spirit around d the corner.

How can you tell people how to spend their Sparks they play The Game The Way they wanna play The Game their playstyle may be Different from yours you can't tell people tbey are Doing It Wrong
@pitbullgamer8116 OK, you clearly did not understand the video and unfortunately you gave nothing interesting to say about it because you clearly don't understand it. But that's fine. Ill explain. I'm not dictating how you MUST play your game. I'm offering advice and guidance on how to make it easy for yourself. If you want to use no sparks at all and pretty much play hardcore, surr, go for it. You choose how you play. I'm just trying to help. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. Take care
So you let people choose a stance but advice them use the long staff but that only benefits from Pillar stance 70% off the players don't use that stance lol you also are aware some people can't defeat yellow long
@mangafgc2891 the staff can be used with any stance as it will still have a nice attack value. However, when used with pillar stance, pillar stance moves will do increased damage. But again, the staff is not exclusively good only with pillar stance. I prefer smash stance myself. I just used that staff helping a friend via Share Play whilst I was using smash stance and the boss (One-Hundred Eyes) got destroyed in 3-4 minutes, without even using all the available mana and spells. Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel. Appreciate the exchange of ideas and knowledge on my channel

If I can get passed the chapter 2 boss I’m done as I got the game after the patch so all the glitche players have had the best of the game
@smithw1083 I disagree. The players that used the glitch or any other glitch, ruin the game for themselves. The game is meant to be hard. You are meant to have limited mana, making you choose what spells to cast and when to cast them. Having infinite mana and being able to summon 1000 duplicates and watch THEM kill the boss?! How is that "the best of the game" man?! I'm sorry but I don't agree with that statement at all. If you need to glitch in a game (any game) to play it, just don't buy it. Thanks for watching the video though and supporting the channel
