Bought the planex easy package and only have used it for sanding painted walls prior to repainting. It was fun because it was over with before I even got warmed up. Doing this task with a pole sander would have sucked! and taken 5 times longer.. havent used this one for drywall yet but, have the old planex in my circle of peeps and that dust collection could not be beat
I have the 48AC with the planex 2 and just use the regular 36mm hose. It's never fallen off and is quite tight fitting. Now I recommend using the cord straps and handle strap, possibly even a sleeve for the hose but its worked well for me. I'd like to get a 36AC but the price increases lately I have it on the wishlist. I probably should of got the combo deal when planex 2 first hit the NA market.
Thank you always for your infinite wisdom! I have a CT-Midi which I use with my Sawstop Tablesaw. Is there a way I could hook up a Y-adapter with second hose so I can get even better dust extraction?
Totally failed on that D32 -> D27 end adapter bit. Misspoke D36... that just causes more confusion. What in blazes does D32 toolend actually fit naturally?
Hi, i have ctl 26 with hose 36mm 3.5 metter i would like to extend hose what size would be better not effect sucking power down? I am gone make diy boom arm so another 3.5 or 5 metter is better?
Thanks team for all the great content and trainings!!!! I may have missed it but will the 36mm hose fit the midi-I and mini-I? I called Festool support last week and they said that the hose would not fit, but thought I would ask just in case. Thanks again!!!!
Greetings Brother, We need some Assistance. We got latest Mafell Erika 85 and CTM 26 e with CT-CYCLONE. now, the Mafell got a Y-Adapter that does NOT-Fit the Festool 27/32. it could be an Adapter or a Different-Splitter that does fit all. our Dutch-Festool-Support never heared of Mafell, mmmmmm ...
I have 50 mm 2.5 meter hose connect to 36mm 3.5 meter hose. Can't connect went dealer they couldn't either. I just made myself boom arms purchased online 50 mm hose but guest what, no adaptor to connect 36 mm hose. Very frustrated.
Big fan here. Unfortunately, the sound was not what I am used to hearing. Perhaps the mic was too close? Mic volume too high? We should not have to listen to Sedge's heavy breathing. I hope he is ok. All that aside, great information that answered many questions for me. One question still remains: Is the larger 36mm hose any more difficult to work with when attached to tools than the 27mm? Thanks much.
I dont know whats more confusing, the hoses, or listening to you explain the hoses. you are all over the place. was the hose from the cyclone to the vac a 27, 32, or 36? never addressed that. if it was a 27, how does a 36 hose to the tool get better suction?
Yes they do. Both in neoprene and in PU. Available in 4m, 5.5m, 7.5m and 10m Local differences apply as they are localized for the different wallplugs. In 110V area there are Plug It cords with thicker wires. The thinner cords then don't fit the heavier tools. In 230V there is only the thinner cord that fits all.
I love Festool; these videos are terrible. This guy seems like a bully that just loves to hear himself talk. The sound is painful. He spends like 6+ minutes at the end obnoxiously thanking everyone who is there. This is maybe three minutes worth of info. Painfully stretched. Festool is great and is certainly capable of better videos than this.
These videos are truly a wealth of information!
When do we get hoseless dust extraction?

Is it possible to cut the hoses to a desired size?

thank you for the information. I just bought a ct36/planex2. Is there any way to extend the planex hose? Can't I connect two hoses?

As soon as you hook up a second hose you will haft the amount for each hose.
They sell an Y-hose for the Precisio and CMS. Not sure if it fits the old Midi.
How do you clear a blockage? Most hose cleaners aren’t 3.5m long.
Totally failed on that D32 -> D27 end adapter bit. Misspoke D36... that just causes more confusion. What in blazes does D32 toolend actually fit naturally?
?? The 36/32 hose has -as far as fitting to tools- the same end as the straight 36 hose.

hi how do you get a stuck cloth out of hose
Fire the sound man
What’s the CFM difference between the 27 mm and the 36 mm at 11 foot length? Love your show!
….. using the CT 26
Agreed. Sound was terrible.

They are mistaken. I own both. Fits just fine.
My goodness. That must be the most expensive wall in the world lol.

36mm 7m hose is suitable for ctl26 e ac renofix? I wanna purchase longer hose but not sure suitable or not?
Thanks
Does anyone make an adapter to allow 1 1/4” attachments form most other vacs to fit the 27mm hose?
I fail to see why the Planex has it's owb special hose. Same with Metabo and their wallchaser specific hose.
Tupperware party, for the Y Chromosome set.
Do they make power cords to to match the hose lengths?
Yes they do. Both in neoprene and in PU. Available in 4m, 5.5m, 7.5m and 10m

Please work on the Sound . I skip this one.
Never once had the regular hose accidentally pull out of a Planex.
Can you join a 36mm hose to another 36mm hose
Seth McDonell DMA Construction
Iowa
the new table saw only takes a internal hose
Why not just get rid of 27 and just sell the 36mm
Because they are heavier and aren't needed on small sanders
It would be great if you could edit these down to three minutes.

Hey hoser, what’s up
Is that 18:30 UK time😕😕😕 for 101 🤣🤣🤣🤣
What’s a boomahh ?
Not sure if you joking, but he (meant to) said 'boom arm'. It holds up the hose and cord.
Are you all drunk? Dreadful sound, still picture no script rapid chatter swallowed words. Not for me after 20 seconds
Ciao
Yep, I agree. Poor sound. Couldn’t watch/ listen to this one.

I’m convinced dude is on drugs. Way too hyper and out of breath. Thanks for the info though..
