The gathering palico mission. The lottery box has some cool effects. The mini dragonator is a guaranteed knock down the first time it uses it on a monster during a hunt.
I liked it, but I've recently become partial to the Healing Clover Bat. When used, the Palico places a cage filled with little bats. When you pick them up by either hitting the cage with a melee attack or by pressing A close to it with your weapon sheathed, you get a special bar that lasts for a few minutes. As you deal damage, the bar fills and then starts to heal you - quite rapidly, I might add. It's somewhat helpful for Dereliction builds, even though it often overpowers the health drain that the Qurio do that keeps Resentment that comes with it active.
Been playing Lance after your video and I have to say, I LOVE IT. The changes they did do it means I can be on the monster all the time and it’s super badass to charge against the monster attacks. As a SnS player, Lance is a bit similar and super fun. My favorite weapon right now.
The buddy handler doesn’t give the quest for the fireworks. The cats around Elgado give the quest. There are 5 that pop up fairly early and talking to them give the quest for each secret support move.
For the cahoot quest if you can't find the adult snow cahoot by the command center you can find it up by the baby cahoot perched on a wooden pole nearby overlooking the nest! I've had a few folks not able to find it at the command center but its been by the nest when not and its where I found mine.

I’ve really been enjoying the Follower quests. It gives the series what it was long overdue for, the ability to go on hunts with the characters you meet throughout the game. Was cool finally going on a hunt with Utushi.
Because you asked: I've been running a LOT of GS. "Surge Slash" struck a cord with me for "Heavy weapon used dexterously". I love how the surge combos flow into one another, and the wirebug's offer a variety of ways to go into the power chops. And the added defensive options, like the multiple hyper armor moves, and the "parry", adds a degree of comfiness that I enjoy. As for armor, I've been eyeing 3-pieces Malzeno, 2-pieces S. Magala, hoping the armor skills counteract eachother.
Ayo, Ninja Sword? When I started Sunbreak I already made peace with the fact that I'd have to replace it with a better weapon, but now, knowing that it gets an upgrade... Hell yeah, brother.

The head gives max speed eating and 2 attack and a level 1, waist is the last 2 razor sharp and 1 crit boost with a level 3 and level 1 slot. They're honestly incredible until it gets power crept by stuff like Espinas and the Astalos head and some of the other late-ish/post game stuff

To your question of when the Hi Ninja Sword upgrade request comes in, almost all Capture requests are received immediately following the first time you hunt them. In this case, upon returning from the M3★ Urgent for Shogun Ceanataur, Admiral Galleus will have the request for you.
Since the Hi Ninja Sword and its upgrades have 100% affinity already, you don't need Critical Eye or Weakness Exploit at all, but you probably want, in order of priority: >Critical Boost 3 - It's basically 15% more damage. >Master's Touch 3 - It essentially becomes Razor Sharp with an 80% activation rate, since every hit you inflict will be a crit. Makes it so you'll probably never need to sharpen. >Mind's Eye 2+ - Since you're hunting in green/blue sharpness, you don't want your hits to bounce. >Attack Boost 4+ - More Attack is always good. >Agitator - Boosts your attack when the monster is enraged, which is at least 75% of the time in Master Rank. >Slugger - Hitting with the shield inflicts impact damage, so this will help you KO. >Stamina Thief - Helps drain monster stamina when hitting with the shield. >Offensive Guard - Boosts your attack for a bit if you guard at the right moment.

Sadly most of the Royal Order weapons look like fisher-price plastic toys, and the ones that actually look good in my opinion are for weapon classes that prefer elemental options (DB and SnS). I went through G rank expecting them to turn into the G rank version of rampage weapons (customisable including with elements and skinnable postgame), but nope, they're just decent raw weapons in a different artstyle from the rest of the game. Some of the armour sets are sick though. Also as someone who mostly went through G using DBs, the heavy knight/hoplite set barely benefits those, but the humble Royal Ludroth set is like an equivalent for DB. Makes stamina management almost a non-issue, feels almost like using dash juice in the games before World nerfed it. With ironshine silk making sharpness skills a non-issue, it really has everything DB wants apart from damage-dealing skills. If you struggle to find the baby cohoot, Tadori shows up with an extra one later in the story, and that allows you to skip the baby.

Just got the game an I’m having fun
I love the royal order weapons
Still no love for the switch axe :(
dude i disagree with the charge blade weapon one low raw and impact is real bad compared to elemental in sunbreak my hunts were taking 30 min. does look cool though
The Azure set looks so much better on dudes than on girl characters. I was so disappointed when I saw the female version.
Hello? Anyone here?
What’s up my g
Lmao we get it, y’all like the fireworks lmao chill
Link the music lol
why there are no weapon layer skins? Many amazing looking weapons are dogshit, while weapons you need to use look like shit
My favorite thing to do in sunbreak so far is dying 🙂… repeatedly 🥲
