I love the Follower quests, especially when I noticed that the AI for the Followers is actually REALLY smart, possibly MORE intelligent than some actual human players. They'll do things that not many human players do - they'll lay traps to give you a chance for some free damage, throw flash bombs, and even heal you. But the best part is when they say something to the effect of "I'll be right back", and then literally _TELEPORT_ to a large monster somewhere on the map that hasn't been subjected to a Wyvern Ride, mount it, and then ride it all the way back to help you deal with the target.
I've had one instance of Fiorayne's AI getting extremely wonky (riding an Aurora Somnacanth and moving forward a bit before evading back repeatedly for 2 minutes), but it really is impressive. I do have some nitpicks, such as them not really trying to place their bombs close enough to yours, or potentially blocking a TCS setup.
I've had fiorayne wake up Malzeno with a wyvern ride attack before I could tcs it's head and that almost made me restart the quest out of pure dissapointment
You waltz into the cutscene dressed as one of the main characters and somehow it seems more off-putting than if you were in the bikini and the owl head.

I love it so much, female hunters so rarely get good plate mail and full helmet type sets almost every head piece is a hat or circlet or something so I love how good arlow’s helmet is for any heavy armour look I want.
Yeah just got it yesterday looks so good , am using it with one of my charge blade hopefully will learn the way of the gunlance one day so I can make full use of the talent
Personally, I love both Chichae and Bahari's armor looks. Add being an Insect Glaive main and it means Rondine's quests are 100% worth doing for me lol
The chameleos quest with Galleus is what lead to me getting the gem needed for the bow charge decoration. Heck Galleus might as well be MY dad after that. Or it was Chameleos being a total bro since he's one of my fav elder dragons.
i got 3 gems from my first lunagaron and i LOVE the figth. is so funny and you have to always be moving and taking a look around for him. its so funny that it became one of my top 5 monsters
@@ignacioperez5479 I got 3 mantles from my first Lunagaron, too. Lunagaron vs Great Sword is such an intense "dancing with death" match-up that really works with a more hit-and-run style. It was all the more intense before I unlocked the rest of the switch skills, so it was fun with Surge Slash Combo.
Haha I just did a follower quest hunting an Almudron with Rondine and she lays down a shock trap then says, “I’ll be right back!”. She then rides a Bishaten to the area to presumably attack the Almudron but instead rides that sucker directly into the shock trap she laid down and gets forced off that crazy lemur!
I feel like this is good to note some quest despite them being unlocked by having a specific amount of HR they are not locked to over player who don't have that HR so like yes you need HR 50 for furious rajang you could host for people who are not a 50 so

Supposedly a leak suggests we will get Iceborne style layered weapons in one of the Title Updates. That and Rampage weapons don't seem to have any upgrades in the smithy not even the line like other weapons paths.
@@epzilonblue I mean I can't really see the deco slots of the heavy knight armor but I can't think of any other skills I'd want for gunlance then to get guard to max I do shelling mainly and it's only affected by artillery and the bombardier food buff so anything other then artillery is just a bonus to me but having all those guard skills is super good

Lots of info about the details, upgrades, builds, etc. Yet nobody cares to mention which obscure quest unlocks them. Yeah, some are obvious, but Switch Axe for example? how would you ever guess that, without just doing everything? Anyway, thanks again.

I am almost at the end of galleus' quest line. Rajang took me a little while because he moves around so much so that furious quest has me hesitating a little lol I am currently layering that heavy knight though 👌🏼
12:14 all the follower quests in the quest description have the prerequisites of the same monsters if it was a normal, quest, all the 4 star quests for example still say “mr1 or higher” despite not unlocking until mr4 and being solo so that’s kinda a lie
0:38 it was a pian in the tail to get Arlow's armour... but i did it! fully upgraded and with the skills i needed for one of my SnS, this is probably the best set i've got along with Malzeno's armour.
Imo tails aren't too bad, since they are usually a weakness point for most monsters, thus if you're gunning for them on every down, it'll naturally come off as you progress. Wings on the other hand can be annoying to break, due to not being a weakness zone for most monsters, and being way up high.

If i could set a rule in my Hub -as in write one myself, it'd be "no tail severing; unless you must". As in you need the monster part to craft something; THAT'S the reason i would let you cut it. But if you don't need to, then don't cut the tail; not in my Hub.
Some really good, top tier armor and weapons come from the royal order/follower stuff. Its looking like, from some vids I have seen, that the weapons at their highest rarity compete in the top 3 of best weapons, especially for blademasters (not sure on bows and gunners).
It's good fir getting to high MR but from what u can tell, I think Narwbushi mix set will be the go to for CB and GL, im using it fir my Charge Blade build, and it's pretty damn nasty with the skills.

i'm going to have to see if Arlo's set competes with bazel for GL. i got most of what i need in my build, it would just be nice to have say wirebug whisperer because running ground splitter to buff bullet barrage is fun, yes in the demo it was seen as not worth it but that may have changed in the full game. regardless, it's just fun to use those together.
I believe Utsushi's armor is available in the base game for male hunters, but I believe female hunters get Hinoa/Minoto's outfits instead. Edit: forgot to mention, I believe you get the ability to craft the High Rank version of this armor from a request, once unlocked you'll be able to make a layered version. The Master Rank version is obtained from another request, but I'm unsure on if you need to unlock the High Rank version first.

Well they buffed the elemental damage of dual blades (especially in normal demon mode!) So some good skills to prioritize are Critical element Chain crit Weakness exploit Crit boost Constitution (Personally, I love evade extender) And whatever element type the weapon is, the skill that boosts it. There are other skills but those are some of the major ones, hope this helps!
I cant believe he said speed eating was a great skill hahahaha, speed eating is always an unnecessary skill that I use if i just want to completely fill all my deco spot and even then it would need to be the last skill i would need hahahaha
I'm no pro or anything but for story I pretty much just wore Gore Magala's armor. At the moment my hunter is wearing the following, and this current set up is because I'm gonna go hunt Magnamalo for a follower quest Weapon: Elysian Manna The helm, chest and belt of the final boss. Gonna avoid some details on that so folks aren't spoiled. And the Rakna Kadaki gloves and pants

You can layer the armors after the endgame boss is defeated.

I saw the heavy knight skills and as a gunlance only main I just went "what the FUCK that's so good" that is such a good gunlance armor
overall Bazel is better for deco slot but if you put element resistance into consideration Heavy Knight is a good one

I couldn't get master Arlows last quest to pop up and I did his previous quest how can I get his last quest to show up. I really want his armor set.

Yes, they have deco slots. It differs per armor piece and sets. Knight squire for example has tons of deco slots but another armor may not

You still need to talk to the NPC after the Quest and then craft it.
gestures also work on the NPCs. I tried to dance in front of minoto during our quest and she claps when i perform. I also tried to kiss her. KEKW
for me best design is the royal order insect glaive, why? i like flag weapons, the poses are cool the subtle clothing animation is nice aswel

What I can tell you is that post game unlocks the Mighty bow deco, which releases bow users from having to use that specific hat
