The Wavegarden Commissioning Sessions at URBNSURF

In early January the gates of URBNSURF Melbourne flung open to the public. Two months prior, behind closed doors, a large number of wave testing sessions took place that very few people knew about, let alone saw. The 'Commissioning' phase is when Wavegarden technicians fine-tune software codes and create the 'Wave Menu' that everyone is surfing today. A big shout out to Mitch Crews, Reef Heazlewood, Isabella Nichols, Chippa Wilson, Xavier Huxtable, Ryan Callinan, Dion Agius and a bunch of others who dropped past to test a few waves and offer their feedback.
