- Ever wanted to ride your favourite Alton Towers rollercoasters whilst they're closed over closed season? Me too! Wickerman, Galactica, Oblivion and more are my favourite rides ever, and i am today going to be riding them for your enjoyment using the very realistic program of... Roblox. It is time for me to ride these coasters in 2024... not Nemesis Reborn though. Not today.

Me and my friend Mason spent almost 4 years creating the Wicker Man shown at the end!
Mason was the main leader who created most of the level (including Big Bob, which took OVER A YEAR to recreate) while I was responsible for making the trains, track and code for the ride to run - along with other things like the preshow and photo system. Our friend Quinn also helped later on in the project with buildings like Burger Kitchen and is a very talented 3D modeller.
Me and Mason left Roblox to make VR games together almost 2 years ago while Quinn still makes coaster train models. Thanks so much for covering it! It was a real nostalgia trip. :)

That recreation of galactica used to be operated manually. I remember trying to get on with my old budget android back in 2019/20, which ran at about 10 fps and crashed half th3 time. Half of the fun was trying to mess around as much as possible. One time, I got glitched and was able to explore the ride alone with no one able to stop me.

What event do you think is the best at Alton towers? I’m planning my first visit however would love to know when I should go
I'd personally say may, April or mid to end september because they are the quietist times of the year 👍
It’s definitely not the quietest or warmest time of year but I’d say Scarefest, the park is so beautiful and there’s so many mazes and other things to do, plus you get night rides which are just amazing! But if your going scarefest I’d book a hotel because you won’t want to drive home in the dark after a day of walking.
