All times super blocks 64 was mentioned 0:36 3:32 5:45 5:49 8:54 10:48 This has got to be the most clear instance of bias seen in video games, you are like the underthemayo equivalent for roblox obby games
never seen this comparison before, and i agree! but the problem with mayo is he lets his personal bias often come out as facts about why a game is bad FOR him, but eclipse, although he is biased as well, often makes a lot of more objective points and will admit when he just doesn’t like things
I agree with some points in the video, being the instant kills every couple of seconds that usually aren't warranted (plus it doesn't equal hard difficulty in terms of fun or good level design if it isn't creative), and the two different dives practically being the same, but on my play through of the game, it was fairly fun and seemed well designed. 1: You're supposed to dive cancel right before you reach a platform, as it cancels all your momentum. This was definitely a skill issue on your part (or you missed it), as the gameplay footage definitely showed you dive-cancelling WAY AFTER reaching platforms. 2: Why are we comparing this to Super Blox 64? These are two completely different games. One is more focused on being a fast-paced platformer, with an emphasis on floatiness and freedom, while this game puts much more emphasis on difficulty and feeling much more grounded, | Stars Align is supposed to be much harder and simpler, but I definitely agree on changing some keybinds here and there. This is like comparing Mario to Celeste lol. 3: This game also has a lot of secrets. There's a secret level you missed out on called Mount Awesome that's pretty tough but is REALLY good for speedrunning, you can get 3-4 hour ish runs down to under 5 minutes. There's even a secret boss fight if you tried exploring the lobby. I've seen lots of your videos that complain about "directionless, needing trello games" and I definitely do think this game could use a tutorial, but the "easy" difficulty level is more than enough (at least in my opinion, when I played it.) 4: This game isn't even that hard (in my experience) since there's so many shortcuts and ways to optimize your runs that you get from just, well, playing the game a little longer and seeing what works. I think this review was nice but it could've used a little more experimenting as your other reviews on this channel (been watching for like 2-3 years now) have been fairly solid most of the time. Also, try Robot 64 :)
ngl im not the biggest on platformers (have played odyssey and 64 and liked them but thats it) but i have played the game up to the 5th difficulty and imo a lot of what he said still makes sense for the most part 1. hes just tripping lol. 2. from how eclipse describes super blox 64 it does just kind of seem like a different game entirely, but i think he was comparing them to emphasize how weird the lack of controls feels and how the constant insta death can be slightly annoying (2 things you admit to being at least slight issues). just because two games play extremely different doesnt mean you cant use one game to explain another game's shortcomings. 3. i did try the beginning of mount awesome and it is pretty crazy, but the fact its such a hidden feature, along with the boss fight, does make it worse. at least in games like deepwoken you know what you need to do, just not how to do it necessarily; in this game you dont even know a 6th level exists unless u get extremely lucky. as for speedrunning, thats kind of like the only thing you can do in this demo so i guess theres that, but i dont think a platformer's fun should only or mainly be derived from that. 4. to be honest if im not having much fun with a game already im not gonna try to force myself to play it more to see if its eventually fun (as in try to find how shortcuts for speedrunning). everybody's different, so i can see why this game at least has some type of audience, but i feel like to most people it just isnt worth it. minus the very obvious dive cancelling, i think he really didnt need to play the game any more. like i said, it just generally isnt a good sign when your game takes multiple play throughs to start genuinely becoming enjoyable. i know for sure there are people who fell in love with the game immediately, but the controls and insta death along with the very scarce use of items makes it harder to enjoy imo. no hate to you or anything, if u want to reply then ill most likely respond back and we can discuss without just insulting each other.
@@personguy4864 yeah i think the excuse of mount awesome being a "secret level" doesn't make up for the lack of having no direction to even nudge you to unlocking lt lol
I might want to add that one of the devs stated that the difficulty of the main game is gonna be around the medium and normal stages. Nothing in it will be as hard as the hard and insnae stages (and mt awesome)
Normally I'd agree with most of your points, and while I certainly do with a few of the points in this video, namely the instant kills and lack of movement options; I have to STRONGLY disagree with your issues with the controls. Having played through the entire game, including the final secret level and beating it with a time of four minutes, I have to say I haven't had this issue of "dive cancelling turning into an accidental jump", well, just about ever really. When you dive cancel, you completely cancel all your momentum. This means that you're able to cancel early before actually reaching exactly where you want to be, while still being well within reach of that point. I think you might've missed that, since your gameplay footage often shows you dive cancelling well after having already reached a platform, despite the proper time to dive cancel being when you're a slight distance away from it. I feel the game would do well to point out this mechanic, but still it's a bit unfair to acclaim this as a genuine problem when it seems like it's mostly a you issue, given I and all my friends had no problem with this supposed problem. (P.S. You missed a movement option, which is fair, it's only mentioned in the secret level. If you jump and dive, you can hold shift and roll when you hit the ground. By doing this, a small star will flash above your character if you continue to hold shift, signaling that you can perform a spring roll by jumping, which gives you more vertical height than a normal jump.) Edit, dive cancelling also gives you a smidgen of vertical height as well. So I'm 99% certain cancelling right before reaching a platform is the intended use of the ability. Edit two, you should do a stream of Mt. Awesome. It'll be awesome, trust me bro.
in my opinion mt awsome is where the game gets most interesting, but its a PAIN to get and there is no way i hell your gonna get it without looking up the bomb fragment locations i wish they made it so its a reward for doing everything else 100% or just completing every other level. i think its really dumb that the hardest and (in my opinion) best part of the game is impossible to get to without looking it up is.
actually imo the insta-kills arent even that bad if you play a game like celeste the insta kills actually work in its favor so the player can maintain their flow without being stopped the only reason the insta kills are bad is really because of like was said; the controls
@@pyxalated It's not that instant kills are inherently bad in my opinion, more so that there's just an over usage of them. Having a lot is fine, it's just that there's ONLY instant kills. In the latter three levels, anyways.
@@_slatt stars align is literally in a demo phase and is supposed to be representing different difficulty levels. I think that in the full game a more gradual diffculty curve is going to be present.
Not gonna lie, very annoyed that you compare this to Super Blox 64 after every few sentences, i felt like you're extremely biased toward that game and now when you play other games with other mechanics to get used to, you start using Super Blox 64 as a "bar" to judge it (for some reason?). Judge a game based on your experience with it, not your experience with another game because you like the other game more. Imagine someone reviewing OneShot and they just randomly compare it to Undertale.
I think the comparing the platformers is a bit weird but I think your example is weirder tbh when those games are just straight up two different genres
@@_epiphany5621. i want to make an extreme comparison to be parallel with Eclipse's extreme obsession with Super Blox 64 to the point that he compare everything to it.
@@log9015 so i can compare ultrakill to COD because they're both FPS? What's next? you gonna compare Celeste to Hollow Knight because they're both Platformer? You have to understand that even 2 game in the same genre can have 2 different gameplay. Super Blox 64 is fast and fluid movement, this game is technical and difficult.
his experience with the game was shit, the game was clearly trying to be like super blox 64 so what is there to compare to it? dark souls? he makes the comparison to super blox 64 as it does what this game does, but just better making super blox 64 really fun to play and this mediocre in comparison.
I disagree with this opinion quite a bit. I think that the game is really good for what it does. I think the problem is that you compared the game too much to Roblox 64, which I personally disliked, because they are different games. Roblox 64 is based on the principles of Super Mario 64, while Stars Align is its own platformer. Just because they are both platformers don't mean they both need the same mechanics. Tbh I found the controls to be quite fun and fluid for myself, so I didn't really understand what was wrong with them. I guess it just comes down to a matter of opinion. To my point of view, it just seems like you enjoyed Roblox 64 a lot and therefore just compared every difference between them, which is understandable. My problem with that in the end of the day though is that Stars Align is still a good game even if you didn't like it as much as you did with Roblox 64.
@@Qrangg Would be more effective if they had a fitting image for the game (? Thumbnail?) that had the same style that it does currently IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN
I know I am commenting 4 months after the video came out, and the game has been updated, the movement (as far as I can tell) has stayed widely the same and I don't have any problems with it. 1. If you press shift and spacebar at same time, you do a long jump, if you don't do this, then you either just do a jump or a boosted jump, which even if you feel like you can't stop walking forward, you can dive backwards and cancel the dive midair to get onto the platform you originally rolled on. 2. I don't know exactly when all the levels got a facelift, or if it was gradual over time because I have dementia, but lots of spots where it was insta kill before were changed to make you only take 1 hit point per tick. For example, with the pushers that are in the walls of the hard difficulty level, instead of it absolutely yeeting you into intimate death, you now get bumped a little bit and only take one hit point so you can dive back onto the floor and save yourself. 3. Again, I don't know when this feature was added, but in the settings, there is an option to respawn quicker after death. I see that you didn't use that, and it may have contributed to how mad you got when you failed do to just having to wait and look at how far you were. 4. OH MY GOD YOU GLAZED SUPER BLOCKS 64 SO HARD. If you like the game, cool, but you don't have to use it as an angiology every 20 seconds in an 11-minute video. You can use it as an analogy, but I would probably get some other comparisons in there considering this video didn't say something in the title in thumbnail like, "Super Blocks 64 is superb to Stars Align" (I know that is an exaggerated and mean title, but you get the point). If the video is initially presented primarily as a comparison of two things, this would have been a lot less annoying and would feel fairer as a viewer. It just didn't feel like Stars Align was the main focus even though that is what the video presented itself to be (not necessarily that the title implies you loved the game or that you hated the game, just that it was the focus). Anyways, sorry, I just felt like you disrespected the game unfairly, even if you have hopes for it.
i thought it was peak until i played mount awesome i'm scarred forever but i need to finish it before the game releases also WHY ARE YOU COMPARING THIS TO ROBLOX 64 you would be miserable if you played celeste according to this review
I usually agree with a lot of what you say in your videos but a lot your judgements in the latter half seem to incorrectly assess what kind of platforming genre this game was going for. Its not trying to be Roblox 64 but a tight platforming game focuses solely on improving speed, time, and your own creativity in how you complete the levels. Despite what you said, there are several ways to think outside of the box to lessen the amount of time to complete these and checkpoints being so common is fine if you die so easily. The games designed like this, its arbitrary to point out a calling card of a sub genre as a critique, its just a lack of experience in that side of platforming. Which is fine, but I dont like how you pose it as such a matter of fact game design problem. I do fully agree with your control critique though of course, fumbling controls can be annoying and I found myself making miss inputs on occasion as well.
Rare bad take from eclipse. Why constantly compare it to Super Blox 64? The game seems much closer to a 3d version of Celeste than it does Mario 64. They're both platformers but they are far from being similar in terms of game design.
"I don't want to spend the time I need to get used to the controls so i'm gonna complain about them" that's essentially what this video felt like. The part where you said there was very little freedom is just false, but you can only realize that if you experiment with the movement a bit (for example that part with the destructible blocks you were complaining about can be skipped entirely with a bit of advanced movement) As for the instakill problem, it's a placeholder that will be changed pretty soon. Finally comparing this game to Super Blox is, as someone else pointed it out, like comparing Celeste to a Super Mario Bros game. The intention behind the level design on these games just isn't the same so your comparison doesn't make much sense there. Overall I think you ought to give this game a more serious try once the final demo update releases because this was somewhat sad to watch
Usually I agree with what eclipse says in most of his reviews even when he trashes on the games i like (voxlblade being an example) the points he puts down are fair and I often find myself agreeing with him. This one though...not so much, I feel most of his criticism comes from the fact that he was expecting the game to play like a 3d mario game or super blox 64, when instead it plays much more like a 3d version of celeste. The fact that he keeps comparing superblox 64 to this game is also..strange? Like, sure they are in the same genre but the gameplay of superblox 64 is based more off the expression of movement in a large open area with a bunch of different ways to complete each level, whilst stars align is more linear in its level design, opting for a more grounded approach to a 3d platformer, in this aspect, it seems weird to compare the two when they are both completely different takes on the platformer genre. Whilst I do agree on some of his takes like how the grounded long jump is not cancellable (seriously, why is this even the case?), some of the other problems he experienced I just...didn't notice? And its not just me, when I played the game with friends none of us experienced miss inputs, this brings me to the point he made about the waterworks at 8:00 He says that due to the fact that cancelling the dive and jumping is the same keybind, it can sometimes cause you to jump when you don't want to, but personally I just haven't had this problem. Dive cancelling stops your momentum and gives you a bit of height, this means that when you use a dive cancel right after you jump, you can use it like a sort of double jump. What eclipse was doing at 8:05 was that he was cancelling his dive WAY TOO LATE, and that's what caused him to jump after landing on the platform, this seems to me just a bit like a skill issue in all honesty, though, a fair argument to this point would be "why not just add a double jump then? It would be way easier than having to time a dive cancel in order to perform this section correctly." And while that makes sense, I feel like it's more fun to perform little tricks like these in grounded challenge based games rather than just having a button do the same thing. Games like celeste do this really well, with how momentum in that game can cause your jump to go further, it feels better than it just being an unlockable move that lets you jump further. These types of things are REALLY fun to pull off in the secret level (Mount awesome) that really pushes both the player and the simple movement system to their absolute limits. All in all, I think eclipse should try the game again when the engine demo gets it's large update (which should be coming soon) with a more open mind. This game has a chance to be absolutely amazing, but I feel like eclipse made out some of the game's intentional design to be a bad thing just because it's not the type of 3d platformer he likes. (Edit: grammar)
If you ever play Stars Align again, in either it’s upcoming final update for the engine demo (including a new level), or the game’s full release, I highly recommend using a controller if you have one around. Using one greatly improves your ability to make more precise movements, though, you can’t make sudden camera changes using one. This really improved my experience with the demo, and enabled me to be able to complete the two secret challenges (Mount Awesome, and the “log god” boss fight).
Why didnt you just wait for the full game This is like reviewing a barebones tech demo dawg (I know this is more of a first impressions thing, just saying) Especially since overly negative videos like this (at least in my opinion overly negative) kinda hurt the traction of the full game a lot. Especially especially since this game already isn't exactly doing so hot, due to being more or less underground. You'll notice that a lot of the people who promote this game say to keep an eye out for the full release, and that's because they know it'll obviously get better than it is now. While I do think some of your points are valid, it feels like a lot of it just comes from the game being not what you expected. Quite like comparing Pizza Tower to old Sonic, or like a lot of other people are saying, Celeste to Mario. Once again I still think you brought up some valid things, but I just don't think you should've done one of these on a bare bones demo.. Here's praying I don't end up on DDoS or smth
@@theveganduolingobird7349 my point is that eclipse is looking at the demo from the point of how it is instead of what it could be and then compares it to something that it isn't trying to be Criticism for a demo is fine, just i dont think he shoulda made a video

So far i have not fully agreed with most of your opinions on games like pillgramed sure the early game kinda sucks but when u get to bosses its rlly fun, sane with derelict i tried it after the video and it wasn't that hard sure it was unbalanced and its kinda grindy but it just got a patch to fix xp and most of the bosses are really fun but its still in beta so its nowhere near done. conclusion try games for yourself before taking someone's else opinion so ima try this game.
Another issue is the gravity in the game. When i played it felt like it was set ridiculously high and like every jump is done with whieghts around your ankles. It feels too restrictive for its own good
Try playing "NORTHWIND" it's a hidden gem that's really different from other roblox games. I've been playing it for 4 years - however it's in the verge of death because of its community making itself collapse.

@@lusionarly, It's not even a game review???? It's a first impressions video. Eclipse specifies whether it's a game review in his title. Also, that wasn't even the point of my comment. I was referencing how the original comment expected him to see that when he really couldn't.
(Repost) Eclipse you should try out Attack on Titan: Freedom war. It's not like the other attack on titan games where you just sit and kill titans, it's a campaign game with permadeath where random people are selected as titan shifters(except for the warriors) and it plays through the attack on titan story all the way up to the Retake Arc. It's really fun and I play it with my friends often. The odm gear feels different from other attack on titan games, but it doesn't take long to get used to.
Can't agree that pressing every button for a slightly different doublejump is a better than what Stars align does You are just playing UnderTheMayo here: "Why mastering few options and their combos when you can just press a lot of buttons like in Doom" And the problem on the latest levels is exactly that: the leveles themselves. Obstacles are sometimes just misplaced and I think they should lean into "how hard can you beat it" with a lot of simple jumps that need to be executed fast and cleanly instead of half-assed chain of every movement option you have
Only problem I had with super blox was the third challenge in the last world because if you failed the jump the you basically couldn’t do it until the next like day or sm.
Just came across this video and watched the whole thing, and uhh... those opinions... they're somewhat questionable (idk) 1.) Platformers doesn’t always need that complex controls or mechanics, if it works it works 2.) You can't compare Star align and 64 games because both are obviously inspired by different games 3.) what did you expect in a fast pace parkour game? 4.) I've seen a game that inspired by a hat in time (not star align) also use 2 buttons (movement (like roll and dive) & jumping) soo i don't really see a big problem here Also get gud
I think this game will be one of the highest quality games on roblox, hands down. But I can agree that the controls were a bit weird, while I think the amount that they were able to do with a single dash and roll was impressive I can definitely say it made things more difficult and felt more restrictive. So I would say I agree but disagree with some things you said. This is coming from someone who did everything besides beating mount awsome

Hey Eclipse! Big fan, here since Old YBA vids Just wanted to ask if you could please play and rate Verdant Moon. Before you play it, know that it has a guide, but it doesn't explain much, so I'll try my best to explain everything in this comment. If you don't want the guide, just don't click the read more button, though that would be a big disappointment... Btw please go easy on this game, (if you rate it ;-;) because the devs and admins abandoned it and are working on a completely new remaster/revamp. So, I'm gonna give a very brief summary of the lore. Basically, Verdant Moon's story is that there was a cult called The Aeon (I think), contacted a God named Aeon, and it granted them the power of the ritual. The ritual is basically like mana, and is used to activate relics. The cult used this power of mana to call Lunarians to Earth, and one of them, Terra, was the most powerful one. She saw the conflicts in the human world, and taught them how to use mana, along as other gifts such as a special sapling, a gift of peace. Using mana, the world became a better place. A non-Lunarian taught Terra how to play the Cello. Then he either disappeared, died, or hurt Terra, (not sure which one), leaving her with trauma. Humanity loved Terra and gave her gifts, one of which was a Cello. She started playing a song called "The Song of Destruction", and many disasters started to occur. There would be Tsunamis, Earthquakes, and inexplicable malfunctions of technology, and heavily accelerated plant growth, and an entire city sunk into a hole. lore time over, now to explain how to play the game; M1 - M1 obviously lol M2 - blockbreaker W + W - Sprint F - Block (You cannot parry. only block.) Q - Dash (does NOT give IFrames) G - Use Lantern (If unlocked) Shift - Shift lock (if enabled in Roblox settings) R, T, and Z - use abilities, if unlocked You lose all trinkets/items upon death (except weapons/spells/covenant abilities/items duh, you do lose items like souls and insignias or coin pouches tho. ((once u read covenants part and u will understand)) ) Levelling: Levelling is cosmetic, except for the level 50 prestige requirement, and mastersmith upgrades (level 10, 20 and 30). Trinkets: They spawn around the map. Click to pick them up. You can sell them to the Merchant who is usually recognized by their green and black attire. Main way to farm money. Runic Shield: You can kill the Golem in the Silver Woods for a Golem Eye and bring it to a Lunarian on a rooftop in the spawn (Grey Garden) to get the Runic Shield. It blocks 1 spell and costs 350 coins. It is uncancellable. Use it while crossing abyssal heights and there's players around, they might try to use Ruinam to throw you off. Gems: Most gems kinda suck but can be augmented into weapons for 250 Silver if you find them. Here's a list and a brief explanation of each one. Mistral - More knockback on last M1 and M2. Crimson - More damage on last M1 (15 sec cooldown) Rage - 7% Damage buff under 35% HP (useless as hell) Blaze - Attacks have a chance to set the opponent on fire, which can be put out by dashing (BEST FOR PVE SINCE NPCS CANT DASH, EXCEPT THE KING OF NOTHING BOSS) Viral - Attacks have a chance to inflict a "poison effect" on the enemy (Can't be put out by dashing and goes away on its own. Best for PVP). Vampiric - Useless. Literally a flaming hot utterly useless smelly trashy dumpster fire. Chance for your attacks to heal back 9-15 HP. Only procs when user is under 100 HP. (a person tested and it only occurs once in every 100 M1's). Now there are a lotta weapons in game (you can pick daggers/sword/spear as starter, but if u wanna change u can buy smth else) Push Daggers: Quickest weapon in game, good mobility moves, and good damage output when paired with some buffs, though it is difficult to use as it has an extremely small hitbox (recommended to practice with these first). Not recommended for beginners. Gives short weapon exp. Can be bought for 150 Silver from the seller in the Viridan Cabins, located in the Silver Woods. You can get the abilities from Mors, who is an NPC locked behind a gate that can only be opened after completing the Hidden Lands quest (I'll get to that in a bit). Costs 1050 Silver to get all the abilities (350 for each move, same as every weapon), and about ~7 levels worth of weapon EXP (7 levels of weapon EXP is around what you'll need to get all the abilities for every weapon as well.) It has 5 M1's, the last being a knockback. The push daggers cannot be blocked during it's M1's. Best gem to use for it is Blaze Gem (PVE) or Viral Gem (PVP) Sword: Mid-Ranged reliable good ol' medium weapon. Pretty much an all-rounder that goes with any playstyle. Gives medium weapon exp. Can be bought from the Cliffside Cabins in the Silver Mines for 150 Silver. The abilities can be bought from Reyas in the Hanging Village, located in the Far Reach for 1050 Silver in total. It has 5 M1's, the last being a knockback. The sword cannot be blocked during it's M1's. Best gem to use for it is Blaze Gem (PVE) or Viral Gem (PVP) Spear: Long-Ranged weapon with good damage and high range, but slower swing-speed than the sword and daggers, higher endlag, and lesser means of mobility. (recommended to use this for PVE, but you do you.) Can be bought in the Hanging Village, located in the Far Reach for 150 Silver. The abilities can be learnt from Drei in the Silver Woods, located in the Lunarian Reservoir behind the 2nd waterfall in the Silver Woods for 150 Silver. It has 5 M1's, the last being a knockback. The spear can be blocked during it's M1's (Keep in mind only professional PVPers will ever block in between your M1's. Most people don't even try it, and try to dash out instead cuz they think the stun is too long xD). Best gem to use for it is Blaze Gem (PVE) or Viral Gem (PVP) Axe: Short-Ranged weapon that has a bigger hitbox than the daggers. Does high damage and has slower M1's. It's good to note that two of it's abilities, Cinder Slam and Iron Fury apply blaze/burning status effect, so it's one of the best, if not the best weapon for PVE. You need ~3-4 levels worth of short OR mid ranged weapon experience, Hidden Lands quest completed, and 350 Silver to buy, its abilities costing an extra 1050 Silver. It has 4 M1's. It can be blocked during it's M1's. Best gem to use for it is Viral Gem (Both PVE and PVP). Greatsword: Long-Ranged weapon that has a janky yet huge hitbox, highest M1 damage (with and without buffs), and slow swing speed. It's 1st skill is noteworthy as it gives Hyper-Armour for ~5 seconds. Can be bought in the Undergrowth located in the Silver Woods from an NPC at the end of an obby, but requires 60 player kills and 350 Silver, its abilities costing another 1050 Silver. It has 3 M1's. It can be blocked during it's M1's. Best gem to use for it is Blaze Gem (PVE) or Viral Gem (PVP). Rapier: Mid-Ranged weapon with a slightly bigger hitbox than the sword. As the name suggests, it's high swing speed and mid damage allow it to be a great choice for PVP. Hard weapon to get as you need to go to a village in an area called the Embrace, located in the Far Reach, and the Embrace damages you over time. It's also a foggy wasteland, that makes u hallucinate and ragdoll every now and then. You need ~2-3 levels worth of mid-range weapon exp and 350 Silver to buy it, its abilities costing an extra 1050 Silver. It has 4 M1's. It cannot be blocked during it's M1's. Scythe: Long-Ranged weapon with decent damage, a big hitbox and slow swing speed. Not much to say about this weapon except Vestigial Spirit, an ability that makes your enemy take 20% more damage. Costs ~3-4 levels of mid range exp + 350 Silver to buy it, its abilities also costing another 1050 Silver. Can be bought from ??? located at the end of the maze in the obby that is located in the Graveyard which is in the Silver Woods. And finally, THE WHEEL. The wheel is a straight up bloodborne reference (not sure if you know about it but yeah) You can use an ability called "Rev" which deals damage to you over time, but increases your damage dealt. Basically sacrifice your health to delete your opponent's health. 2nd hardest weapon to get as you need to get 50 bounty, and u get it by killing players (5 per player). There's roughly a 1 min cooldown between killing the same person for bounty. It also has a true ranged ability called Cursefire Charge ahem ahem looking at you, virtue users, *ahem ahem*. Anyways its other ability called Bloodhail is OP. It bypasses block and spins the wheel, hitting the victim multiple times, pretty much guaranteeing a gem status effect proc (unless it's crimson gem, mistral gem or rage gem.) It has 4 M1's, its M1's can be blocked in between, and its best gem is Viral Gem. (PART 1 OF COMMENT, PART 2 IN REPLIES, RUclips THOUGHT MY COMMENT WAS TOO LONG LOL
PART 2. Hidden Lands quest: Get 3 "Twig Remains" by killing "Twigs" in the Silver Woods, and go to the Far Reach. Stick to the left side until you see a bridge. Cross the bridge and keep going forward till you see a bunch of destroyed houses and a tree. Go to the left of the tree, into the Bar (The Hidden Refuge is behind that red curtain in the bar or whatever it's called i forgot lol and the gambit covenant guy is in the Hidden Refuge). After that talk to the guy hiding behind a shelf and he'll give you the key to unlock the huge door in the Fragmented Chasm. Go to the Fragmented Chasm and parkour across until you see a big door. Use the lever to open the door and voila, you're in the Hidden Lands now. (Access to Fortune The Silent Sea, the Wilting Gallery, and the Wolves' Den unlocked.) Spells - You can get spells by using torn spellbooks that spawn around the map randomly like trinkets. Spells in this game are situational, and they kinda suck, which is why i use the One-Trick shrine that buffs damage but takes away spells. (I'll explain them later on in this HUGE damn comment ) Best spells are Aurae, Cadea, and Ruinam, if you plan on using them. (They just take up slots bruv they useless as hell) Covenants: Shadow - You need to kill the Shadow Assassins, and get the Abyssal Visage and jump into any void to teleport to the Shattered Mirror. Once you're there, talk to the guy standing at the table, and join him if you want to join this covenant. The buffs/abilities are as follows: Shadow dashes - your dashes turn into shadow dashes which you have 3 of and they need to replenish after all being used. Faster Speed at Night - self explanatory Shade Curse - Shout and monochrome the vision of any player near you. If they run too far from you, they take a burst of damage. Combat tags To progress this covenant, kill players and use the amulet on their red souls, and if the soul turns white, you get soul coins. Turn them in to the guy at the table in the Shattered Mirror by jumping into the void in the Overgrowth in the Silver Woods with the Amulet. Artisan - You need to do the Hidden Lands quest and talk to Artisan Yves under the floor in the Wilting Gallery in the Hidden Lands. Once you join his covenant, pick up trinkets to get Artisan's Insignias, which you can turn in to him. Abilities are as follows: Double Harvests - 50% chance to get x2 trinkets instead of x1 upon picking one up Blank Canvas - Stops players from using spells (idk for how long). Painting Travel - You can walk into paintings to use them to fast-travel to certain places. Gambit - As the name suggests, it's all abt gambling. To progress this covenant, you need to sell trinkets to get coin pouches, which you can turn in to the guy at the Hidden Refuge, which is near the Hidden Lands quest giver. Abilities are as follows: Bargaining - 1 extra coin upon selling trinkets Coin Toss - Combat tags a player upon use (aimed using cursor), uses up 10 Silver. All In - Grow horns on your head, and you take 25% more damage in exchange for dealing 25% more damage as well. This is usually best paired with Wheel, the Worm Tooth Relic, and One-Trick Shrine. Bard - bard kinda sucks but its just a support covenant. never use this Shrines: Accursed - Take 2x more damage. Hardmode shrine. Dancer - Reduced dash cooldown. Lower health does not affect dash distance, but you also gain +25% Ragdoll Time. Wrathful - 5% more damage, in exchange for 2.5% of your max health. (One-Trick better booooo) Scholar - +25% casting speed and -25% mana cost in exchange for 15% of your max health gets taken away (HORRIBLE, MAGIC SUCKS WHY WOULD U EVEN USE THIS) Stoic - +10% Health, -10% Weapon Damage. (kinda sucks unless you have Greatsword gambit and skill aura, instead of skill issue) One-Trick - one trick my beloved... (Takes away all magic in exchange for 8% more weapon damage and weapons siphon opponent's mana. Direct counter to Scholar users.) Finally, the fun part, The King of Nothing. KoN, Eligos, or the King of Nothing is the only boss in vm. He is the best way to farm for Relics, which I'll get to in a sec. To fight him, you must go into the Undergrowth in the Silver Woods and go through a small crevice in the wall and fight off 4 enemy NPCs. After that, go in the "basement" in the throne room, and interact with Eligos. Once you talk to him, you'll get a title. To unlock it you'll need 2,000 Silver, and you need to equip it to fight him. Once you've equipped the title, go ahead and type "/e sit" on his throne while you have the title equipped. (Max 3 players to fight him) 1st Phase: He just attacks you normally, swapping between every weapon in the game once in a while, occasionally dashing once in a while (his dash removes blaze/burning status effect.) 2nd Phase: To damage him in this state, you'll need to kill the enemy NPCs that he spawns. Once you have a blue aura on your head and see a crystal spawn, destroy the crystal by hitting it (you can only destroy it if you have the blue aura, be careful of that if u go multiplayer). Once you've destroyed the crystal 3 times, he will teleport infront of his throne and sit there for ~10 seconds. In this state it is very important that you spam your attacks and moves. Once he teleports away, you can actually climb up near his throne and hit him while he's floating in the air lol but anyways keep repeating until he dies. He has a 5% chance to give Relics (10% chance on Penumbral Lunar Phase days. Lunar Phase changes everyday.) Relics: short forms are mentioned next to the relics. Forbidden Blade (FB): More damage based on the opponent's mana. If opponent is one-trick, this relic directly counters them, as they have no way of using up their mana. Hunter's Charm (HC): Stops players from sprinting. Good for bounty hunting and PVPing in general. Lightshot (LS): spiderman, spiderman, does whatever a spider can (you can use it to swing like spiderman. best method traversal if u dont have artisan covenant.) Manasense (MS): sans undertale real (you have a chance to dodge any attacks, which uses up mana. good for One-Trick + Gambit and Greatsword builds) Painstar (PS): Shout and combat tag + YEET away all players within range. Applies a 25% defence debuff to the victim(s) Runeborn (RB): Your Runic Shield blocks 2 spells instead of 1, and lasts 15 seconds with a 20 second cooldown, starting upon activation. Thorn Crown (TC): The amount of damage someone deals to you will be returned to them with a maximum cap of 5 damage points. Works if you get hit by magic or true damage abilities. Worm Tooth (WT): Best relic ingame by a MILE. Everytime you take damage you can restore health by M1'ing an enemy back. The max amount of health you can regen per M1 is 5. The amount of HP that you heal back slowly decreases by 1 every second until it's at 0. Taking damage again however, resets this timer. Any damage triggers wormtooth. INCLUDING Wheel's Rev ability. Which is why it's so OP. You take damage from Rev, but you do more damage AND can heal that damage back by just M1 spamming. And Finally, Mastersmith: Kivaras the Mastersmith can be found in Fortune, The Silent Sea, and will upgrade your M1 recovery speed (lvl 10), M2 recovery speed (lvl 20), and flatly reduce skill cooldowns (lvl 30), respectively. And that concludes it. IF you read till here, MAD props to you. also there's prestiges, at prestige 3 u get minds eye which shows the health, mana, covenant, shrine and relic of the person you use it on (have to be close to them) and at prestige 5 you get lunar sight which shows NPCS and players thru walls and can be used to identify if said players/npcs are at/under 15% hp or not (yellow = above 15% HP, red = at or under 15% HP) look up how to prestige if u see this im sorry i cant LOL (this/these comment(s) was/were copied from another vid cuz i aint rewriting allat bro)

This has got to be the most clear instance of bias seen in video games, you are like the underthemayo equivalent for roblox obby games
never seen this comparison before, and i agree! but the problem with mayo is he lets his personal bias often come out as facts about why a game is bad FOR him, but eclipse, although he is biased as well, often makes a lot of more objective points and will admit when he just doesn’t like things
I've seen lots of your videos that complain about "directionless, needing trello games" and I definitely do think this game could use a tutorial, but the "easy" difficulty level is more than enough (at least in my opinion, when I played it.)
4: This game isn't even that hard (in my experience) since there's so many shortcuts and ways to optimize your runs that you get from just, well, playing the game a little longer and seeing what works.
I think this review was nice but it could've used a little more experimenting as your other reviews on this channel (been watching for like 2-3 years now) have been fairly solid most of the time.
Also, try Robot 64 :)
Ong its like comparing mario to celeste, yes they are part of the same genre but they play completely differently
I really agree with this.
ngl im not the biggest on platformers (have played odyssey and 64 and liked them but thats it) but i have played the game up to the 5th difficulty and imo a lot of what he said still makes sense for the most part
1. hes just tripping lol.
2. from how eclipse describes super blox 64 it does just kind of seem like a different game entirely, but i think he was comparing them to emphasize how weird the lack of controls feels and how the constant insta death can be slightly annoying (2 things you admit to being at least slight issues). just because two games play extremely different doesnt mean you cant use one game to explain another game's shortcomings.
3. i did try the beginning of mount awesome and it is pretty crazy, but the fact its such a hidden feature, along with the boss fight, does make it worse. at least in games like deepwoken you know what you need to do, just not how to do it necessarily; in this game you dont even know a 6th level exists unless u get extremely lucky. as for speedrunning, thats kind of like the only thing you can do in this demo so i guess theres that, but i dont think a platformer's fun should only or mainly be derived from that.
4. to be honest if im not having much fun with a game already im not gonna try to force myself to play it more to see if its eventually fun (as in try to find how shortcuts for speedrunning). everybody's different, so i can see why this game at least has some type of audience, but i feel like to most people it just isnt worth it.
minus the very obvious dive cancelling, i think he really didnt need to play the game any more. like i said, it just generally isnt a good sign when your game takes multiple play throughs to start genuinely becoming enjoyable. i know for sure there are people who fell in love with the game immediately, but the controls and insta death along with the very scarce use of items makes it harder to enjoy imo. no hate to you or anything, if u want to reply then ill most likely respond back and we can discuss without just insulting each other.

I might want to add that one of the devs stated that the difficulty of the main game is gonna be around the medium and normal stages. Nothing in it will be as hard as the hard and insnae stages (and mt awesome)
the only criticism I agree with is the instakills, that have been fixed yay !!!
i might update this due to me now not really liking what I said but whatever
Well the final game is gonna be a lot more similar to something like Mario Odyssey or Super Blox 64 this is just the Engine Demo with some levels.
@@mober7430oh, didn’t know about that, nice to know tho I like both versions of platforming anyways
By doing this, a small star will flash above your character if you continue to hold shift, signaling that you can perform a spring roll by jumping, which gives you more vertical height than a normal jump.)
Edit, dive cancelling also gives you a smidgen of vertical height as well. So I'm 99% certain cancelling right before reaching a platform is the intended use of the ability.
Edit two, you should do a stream of Mt. Awesome. It'll be awesome, trust me bro.
in my opinion mt awsome is where the game gets most interesting, but its a PAIN to get and there is no way i hell your gonna get it without looking up the bomb fragment locations i wish they made it so its a reward for doing everything else 100% or just completing every other level. i think its really dumb that the hardest and (in my opinion) best part of the game is impossible to get to without looking it up is.
actually imo the insta-kills arent even that bad
if you play a game like celeste the insta kills actually work in its favor so the player can maintain their flow without being stopped
the only reason the insta kills are bad is really because of like was said; the controls
@@pyxalated It's not that instant kills are inherently bad in my opinion, more so that there's just an over usage of them. Having a lot is fine, it's just that there's ONLY instant kills. In the latter three levels, anyways.
Eclipse playing celeste for the first time on steam and seeing it has close together checkpoints and high reliance on instakills
Celeste doesn't rly have a steep difficulty curve, it's gradual and the assist mode makes it even easier
@@_slatt stars align is literally in a demo phase and is supposed to be representing different difficulty levels. I think that in the full game a more gradual diffculty curve is going to be present.
@@ultrafoxytthis is why i said he shouldnt play this once before cause i KNEW he'd judge it like this
Not gonna lie, very annoyed that you compare this to Super Blox 64 after every few sentences, i felt like you're extremely biased toward that game and now when you play other games with other mechanics to get used to, you start using Super Blox 64 as a "bar" to judge it (for some reason?). Judge a game based on your experience with it, not your experience with another game because you like the other game more.
Imagine someone reviewing OneShot and they just randomly compare it to Undertale.
I think the comparing the platformers is a bit weird but I think your example is weirder tbh when those games are just straight up two different genres
@@_epiphany5621. i want to make an extreme comparison to be parallel with Eclipse's extreme obsession with Super Blox 64 to the point that he compare everything to it.
the games are similar though they are both platformers

Eclipse, you should test your game design skill by playing Mario Maker 2 and making a level

To me, the game feels like 'A Hat in Time' with more gravity.
Because he was told it was indifferent to said game , he was basically told to compare it to said game
@@speedyanimsd217 He was told that he would like it if he liked Super Blox 64, not that they're indifferent.
"I don't want to spend the time I need to get used to the controls so i'm gonna complain about them"
that's essentially what this video felt like.
The part where you said there was very little freedom is just false, but you can only realize that if you experiment with the movement a bit (for example that part with the destructible blocks you were complaining about can be skipped entirely with a bit of advanced movement)
As for the instakill problem, it's a placeholder that will be changed pretty soon.
Well.. the reason why the control is so limiting, is because in Star aline you need to aline yourself with the game 😅

We need this man to review stars align again
Hopefully this guy reviews the game again, it just got a huge update
If you ever play Stars Align again, in either it’s upcoming final update for the engine demo (including a new level), or the game’s full release, I highly recommend using a controller if you have one around. Using one greatly improves your ability to make more precise movements, though, you can’t make sudden camera changes using one. This really improved my experience with the demo, and enabled me to be able to complete the two secret challenges (Mount Awesome, and the “log god” boss fight).
I play Stars Align too, but having to use a controller just to play a game better seems uncalled for.
@@itsthatgreenlightA controller isn’t required to have a good experience, but I was just saying that I had a better experience with a controller.
Yet another Eclipse video where he somehow manages to have incorrect opinions.
do NOT let this guy try out mount awesome 💀💀👽
Why didnt you just wait for the full game
This is like reviewing a barebones tech demo dawg (I know this is more of a first impressions thing, just saying)
Especially since overly negative videos like this (at least in my opinion overly negative) kinda hurt the traction of the full game a lot.
What’s the point of a demo if not criticism????
@@theveganduolingobird7349 my point is that eclipse is looking at the demo from the point of how it is instead of what it could be and then compares it to something that it isn't trying to be

Super Blocks 64 this, Super Blocks 64 that
I recommend an another platformer game, named as "Detriment". The game came out today and it's already pretty good.
Another issue is the gravity in the game. When i played it felt like it was set ridiculously high and like every jump is done with whieghts around your ankles. It feels too restrictive for its own good
You should try Microwave Dinner I had my share of fun on that game
Try playing "NORTHWIND" it's a hidden gem that's really different from other roblox games. I've been playing it for 4 years - however it's in the verge of death because of its community making itself collapse.
you should play "Find Everything" thats also a good platformer and i think it might actually be better than super blox 64
Couldn't even get into the video. Might as well keep making videos. I love these reviews and I always keep watching.

what do you expect man, hes playing a demo and doesnt have all day to find the hidden level where the mechanic is explained??
you literally need to find a bunch of secret items in the area to find that level how would he ever know about that?!
Yes, because he’s playing from the perspective of a player who isn’t obsessively using putter resources, if it isn’t explained or shown in the game he has no reason to know or do it. That’s an issue with the game not him
@@pyxalated is the spring roll that one move where if u time your jump at the end of your dive u get fling further? Cause i found that out by instict thanks to a game called A Hat In Time.
@@pyxalatedits a game review LMFAOOO how r u going to criticize a game without playing it to its fullest
@@lusionarly, It's not even a game review???? It's a first impressions video. Eclipse specifies whether it's a game review in his title. Also, that wasn't even the point of my comment. You don't expect anyone (without research) to find all 10 secrets to enter ANOTHER secret level, to find an OBSCURE mechanic??? I was referencing how the original comment expected him to see that when he really couldn't.
(Repost) Eclipse you should try out Attack on Titan: Freedom war. It's not like the other attack on titan games where you just sit and kill titans, it's a campaign game with permadeath where random people are selected as titan shifters(except for the warriors) and it plays through the attack on titan story all the way up to the Retake Arc. It's really fun and I play it with my friends often. The odm gear feels different from other attack on titan games, but it doesn't take long to get used to.
We're one step away from Eclipse reviewing Adventure Forward 2
Can't agree that pressing every button for a slightly different doublejump is a better than what Stars align does
You are just playing UnderTheMayo here: "Why mastering few options and their combos when you can just press a lot of buttons like in Doom"
And the problem on the latest levels is exactly that: the leveles themselves. Obstacles are sometimes just misplaced and I think they should lean into "how hard can you beat it" with a lot of simple jumps that need to be executed fast and cleanly instead of half-assed chain of every movement option you have
Couldnt have said it better myself
though my biggest problem that wasnt signifacntly mentioned was finding where to go on the final level near the end
Only problem I had with super blox was the third challenge in the last world because if you failed the jump the you basically couldn’t do it until the next like day or sm.
Just came across this video and watched the whole thing, and uhh... those opinions... they're somewhat questionable (idk)
1.) Platformers doesn’t always need that complex controls or mechanics, if it works it works
2.) You can't compare Star align and 64 games because both are obviously inspired by different games
3.) what did you expect in a fast pace parkour game?
4.) I've seen a game that inspired by a hat in time (not star align) also use 2 buttons (movement (like roll and dive) & jumping) soo i don't really see a big problem here
Also get gud

Hey Eclipse! Big fan, here since Old YBA vids
Just wanted to ask if you could please play and rate Verdant Moon.
There would be Tsunamis, Earthquakes, and inexplicable malfunctions of technology, and heavily accelerated plant growth, and an entire city sunk into a hole.
lore time over, now to explain how to play the game;
M1 - M1 obviously lol
M2 - blockbreaker
W + W - Sprint
F - Block (You cannot parry. only block.)
Q - Dash (does NOT give IFrames)
G - Use Lantern (If unlocked)
Shift - Shift lock (if enabled in Roblox settings)
R, T, and Z - use abilities, if unlocked
You lose all trinkets/items upon death (except weapons/spells/covenant abilities/items duh, you do lose items like souls and insignias or coin pouches tho. ((once u read covenants part and u will understand)) )
Levelling:
Levelling is cosmetic, except for the level 50 prestige requirement, and mastersmith upgrades (level 10, 20 and 30).
Trinkets:
They spawn around the map. Click to pick them up. You can sell them to the Merchant who is usually recognized by their green and black attire. Main way to farm money.
Runic Shield:
You can kill the Golem in the Silver Woods for a Golem Eye and bring it to a Lunarian on a rooftop in the spawn (Grey Garden) to get the Runic Shield. It blocks 1 spell and costs 350 coins. It is uncancellable. Use it while crossing abyssal heights and there's players around, they might try to use Ruinam to throw you off.
Gems:
Most gems kinda suck but can be augmented into weapons for 250 Silver if you find them. Here's a list and a brief explanation of each one.
Mistral - More knockback on last M1 and M2.
Crimson - More damage on last M1 (15 sec cooldown)
Rage - 7% Damage buff under 35% HP (useless as hell)
Blaze - Attacks have a chance to set the opponent on fire, which can be put out by dashing (BEST FOR PVE SINCE NPCS CANT DASH, EXCEPT THE KING OF NOTHING BOSS)
Viral - Attacks have a chance to inflict a "poison effect" on the enemy (Can't be put out by dashing and goes away on its own.
Now there are a lotta weapons in game (you can pick daggers/sword/spear as starter, but if u wanna change u can buy smth else)
Push Daggers: Quickest weapon in game, good mobility moves, and good damage output when paired with some buffs, though it is difficult to use as it has an extremely small hitbox (recommended to practice with these first). Best gem to use for it is Blaze Gem (PVE) or Viral Gem (PVP)
Sword: Mid-Ranged reliable good ol' medium weapon. Best gem to use for it is Blaze Gem (PVE) or Viral Gem (PVP)
Spear: Long-Ranged weapon with good damage and high range, but slower swing-speed than the sword and daggers, higher endlag, and lesser means of mobility. Best gem to use for it is Blaze Gem (PVE) or Viral Gem (PVP)
Axe: Short-Ranged weapon that has a bigger hitbox than the daggers.
And finally,
THE WHEEL.
The wheel is a straight up bloodborne reference (not sure if you know about it but yeah)
You can use an ability called "Rev" which deals damage to you over time, but increases your damage dealt.
It bypasses block and spins the wheel, hitting the victim multiple times, pretty much guaranteeing a gem status effect proc (unless it's crimson gem, mistral gem or rage gem.)
It has 4 M1's, its M1's can be blocked in between, and its best gem is Viral Gem.
(PART 1 OF COMMENT, PART 2 IN REPLIES, RUclips THOUGHT MY COMMENT WAS TOO LONG LOL
PART 2.
Hidden Lands quest:
Get 3 "Twig Remains" by killing "Twigs" in the Silver Woods, and go to the Far Reach.
(Access to Fortune The Silent Sea, the Wilting Gallery, and the Wolves' Den unlocked.)
Spells - You can get spells by using torn spellbooks that spawn around the map randomly like trinkets. Spells in this game are situational, and they kinda suck, which is why i use the One-Trick shrine that buffs damage but takes away spells. (I'll explain them later on in this HUGE damn comment ) Best spells are Aurae, Cadea, and Ruinam, if you plan on using them. (They just take up slots bruv they useless as hell)
Covenants:
Shadow - You need to kill the Shadow Assassins, and get the Abyssal Visage and jump into any void to teleport to the Shattered Mirror. Once you're there, talk to the guy standing at the table, and join him if you want to join this covenant. The buffs/abilities are as follows:
Shadow dashes - your dashes turn into shadow dashes which you have 3 of and they need to replenish after all being used.
Faster Speed at Night - self explanatory
Shade Curse - Shout and monochrome the vision of any player near you. If they run too far from you, they take a burst of damage. Combat tags
To progress this covenant, kill players and use the amulet on their red souls, and if the soul turns white, you get soul coins.
Abilities are as follows:
Double Harvests - 50% chance to get x2 trinkets instead of x1 upon picking one up
Blank Canvas - Stops players from using spells (idk for how long).
Abilities are as follows:
Bargaining - 1 extra coin upon selling trinkets
Coin Toss - Combat tags a player upon use (aimed using cursor), uses up 10 Silver.
All In - Grow horns on your head, and you take 25% more damage in exchange for dealing 25% more damage as well. This is usually best paired with Wheel, the Worm Tooth Relic, and One-Trick Shrine.
Bard - bard kinda sucks but its just a support covenant. never use this
Shrines:
Accursed - Take 2x more damage. Hardmode shrine.
Dancer - Reduced dash cooldown. Lower health does not affect dash distance, but you also gain +25% Ragdoll Time.
Wrathful - 5% more damage, in exchange for 2.5% of your max health. (One-Trick better booooo)
Scholar - +25% casting speed and -25% mana cost in exchange for 15% of your max health gets taken away (HORRIBLE, MAGIC SUCKS WHY WOULD U EVEN USE THIS)
Stoic - +10% Health, -10% Weapon Damage. (kinda sucks unless you have Greatsword gambit and skill aura, instead of skill issue)
One-Trick - one trick my beloved... (Takes away all magic in exchange for 8% more weapon damage and weapons siphon opponent's mana. Direct counter to Scholar users.)
Finally, the fun part,
The King of Nothing.
(Max 3 players to fight him)
1st Phase: He just attacks you normally, swapping between every weapon in the game once in a while, occasionally dashing once in a while (his dash removes blaze/burning status effect.)
2nd Phase: To damage him in this state, you'll need to kill the enemy NPCs that he spawns.
Lunar Phase changes everyday.)
Relics:
short forms are mentioned next to the relics.
Forbidden Blade (FB): More damage based on the opponent's mana. If opponent is one-trick, this relic directly counters them, as they have no way of using up their mana.
Hunter's Charm (HC): Stops players from sprinting. Good for bounty hunting and PVPing in general.
Lightshot (LS): spiderman, spiderman, does whatever a spider can (you can use it to swing like spiderman. best method traversal if u dont have artisan covenant.)
Manasense (MS): sans undertale real (you have a chance to dodge any attacks, which uses up mana. good for One-Trick + Gambit and Greatsword builds)
Painstar (PS): Shout and combat tag + YEET away all players within range. Applies a 25% defence debuff to the victim(s)
Runeborn (RB): Your Runic Shield blocks 2 spells instead of 1, and lasts 15 seconds with a 20 second cooldown, starting upon activation.
And Finally,
Mastersmith:
Kivaras the Mastersmith can be found in Fortune, The Silent Sea, and will upgrade your M1 recovery speed (lvl 10), M2 recovery speed (lvl 20), and flatly reduce skill cooldowns (lvl 30), respectively.
And that concludes it. IF you read till here, MAD props to you.
also there's prestiges, at prestige 3 u get minds eye which shows the health, mana, covenant, shrine and relic of the person you use it on (have to be close to them)
and at prestige 5 you get lunar sight which shows NPCS and players thru walls and can be used to identify if said players/npcs are at/under 15% hp or not (yellow = above 15% HP, red = at or under 15% HP)
look up how to prestige if u see this im sorry i cant LOL
