Something I have decided lately is that being a little delusional can be a fun way to motivate oneself. As long as you're not actually getting down on yourself for not meeting unrealistic expectations, then what's the harm, right? Good luck to you in your writing in the new year!

Knowing myself and what motivates me is the biggest part of setting myself up for success. 500 words a day is a great goal! Even if it's the only one I hit, I'll be in good shape!
