I have been on a long hiatus from collage and I'm only doing journaling atm, but I'm planning on making a comeback to collage because I miss it so much and I feel empty without it, but yes I try new things every now and then, but I really want to make more abstract pieces and learn more about the art of abstract collage. I also don't have a certain style, but there are pieces that seem connected in a way and I can make them into a series or something. I really like seeing your progress and it reminds me that I should take things step by step and never be afraid of experiments and that creating at the end of the day is for ME not for ANYONE else.
