Working weekends should be accepted also so tired hearing just weekends you only work weekends,I never hear you only work weekdays. Stop judging weekend working people deserve more recognition than they get. You're capable of making just as much working two days vs five anyways.

Recently got a job at a car dealership. In sales and retail and in the auto business Saturday is an absolutely crucial day so you have to work most Saturdays.
As someone who works almost all Saturdays (since starting almost 3 months ago I’ve only had 1 Saturday off, and I’m taking 2 off in a couple weeks here for family stuff), I agree with almost all the statements in this video. We do at least get Sundays off though.
So my schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 4-8PM, and Saturdays I work from 11am-7pm.
I am a student in college so starting this fall I’ll be taking classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays but yeah during the summer right now when I don’t have much going on it’s great to hang out and get things done during the week when it’s quieter and places are open.
My advice for anyone if you don’t want to work Saturdays do NOT get a job in retail or sales where it is crucial. For now, it works for me because I’m a student and Saturdays are the days I can work the most hours and make good money.
I do think I’m the future when I’m no longer a student several years down the road I would prefer to not work weekends and just work full time Monday through Friday. Honestly it’s personal preference and there are pros and cons to each.

I was hired at home depot as a seasonal associate. I waa offered a full time position, but only Friday-Sunday, 6am-7pm. I don't mind the long hours or the work. Im more so worried for my social relationships. Im 25, Im gonna.give it a try but im gonna go at it with the best approach possible, FOMO is definitely strong

Many industries are seven days a week. Take full advantage of the time of the day.

I work at Costco so I don’t really have a choice. I like the job, but I can’t spend those weekends with my family like I used to.

Is it possible to work some weekends and hire someone to cover other weekend days so you’re not working every weekend?

@@RyanReflects unfortunately no, everyone works weekends here and every now and then you get Sundays off. But you can’t really enjoy it like when you get both Saturday and Sunday off.

only serve working weekends _for_ and _only for_ essential workforce, like emergency services, clerks, firefighters, cops, etc. there is no point non-essential jobs require working weekends, like designers

A fair point. If everyone was off over the weekend, there would be no one there to serve in industries like hospitality and tourism.
