Imam Ar-Razi in his commentary states that there are three opinions regarding the practice of prostration of angels to Adam. First, prostration by dropping the forehead to the ground and positioning Prophet Adam as the Kaaba becomes the Qibla in our prostration. So in essence this prostration is done to God. Second, prostrate by dropping the forehead to the ground as a form of congratulations and respect for the Prophet Adam. Third, the prostration is not prostration by dropping the forehead to the ground as we do in prayer. But only the practice of low self-esteem (Tafsir Ibn Katsir/1/232 and Mafatihul Ghaib/1/493).
Of the three opinions, Imam Ar-Razi chose the second opinion. Namely, the practice of prostration of angels to Prophet Adam is to drop the forehead to the ground and make the prostration as a form of congratulations and respect to Prophet Adam. The tradition of prostration as a form of respect has existed since the time before the Prophet Muhammad and was then prohibited in the Prophet Muhammad's Shari'a. The prostration is as done by the parents and brothers of the Prophet Yusuf to the Prophet Yusuf, as narrated in Surah Yusuf verse 100.

Beloved Muslim, I'm concerned about Muhammad leading billions of Muslims to practice the biggest IDOLATRY and ABOMINATION since the world began, by doing the tawaaf (Circumbulation), touching and kissing the Hajr e aswad (Black stone) which-according to Sahih hadiths-is one of the ways Allah EXPIATES your sins [al-Tirmidhi, 959] and will, according to other accounts, be given eyes and a mouth to speak and testify on the Day of Judgement [al-Tirmidhi, 877; al-Nasaa’i, 2935. (The hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Tirmidhi)]. There is no better example of a "divine object" than the Black Stone.
Both the Kaaba and the Hajr e aswad are offensive to the true ONE God who states that the name he will be known by for generations and forever (Exodus 3:15) is "God of Abraham, Isaac and the God of Jacob" [whom the 7th century Allah of the Qur’an falsely claims to be (QS 29:46)]. Allah has 99 names but none of them are the name of the true God given in Exodus 3:15.
It would be hypocritical for Muslims to use their OPINIONS to argue that they don't consider the Black stone to be of any benefit when Sahih hadiths give FACTUAL INFORMATION about its divinity in Islam.
[To be be clear, I'm also critical of some Christian sects like Catholics who interact with statues. However, there are more Christians than Catholics and you won't find Christians keeping, kissing or praying towards statues or the cross.]
Muslims deliberately TWIST what Umar said about the stone to mean that the stone is of NO benefit or harm!
Umar, said, “I know that you are only a stone which can neither bring benefit nor cause harm. Were it not that I had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) kiss you, I would not have kissed you.”
      (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1520; Muslim, 1720)
Umar was saying exactly what a normal person would think about a stone-it had no harm or benefit. But AFTER Umar saw Muhammad kissing the stone, his attitude towards the stone CHANGED to one where he believed it DID have BENEFIT than what he had thought of it BEFORE, and that is why he then went ahead and kissed it! It EXPIATED sins as shown by the hadiths below:
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: "I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Touching them both [the Black Stone and al-Rukn al-Yamani] is an EXPIATION for sins.” [al-Tirmidhi, 959. This hadeeth was classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi and as saheeh by al-Haakim (1/664). Al-Dhahabi agreed with him)] .
It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When the Black Stone came down from Paradise, it was whiter than milk, but the sins of the sons of Adam made it black.”
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 877; Ahmad, 2792. Classed as saheeh by Ibn Khuzaymah, 4/219. Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar classed it as qawiy (strong) in Fath al-Baari, 3/462).
Didn't Moses warn specifically about paying respect to a stone image?
"Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to BOW down unto it: for I am the LORD your God."
      Leviticus 26:1
The word 'bow' means: "a bending of the head or body in RESPECT.
Clearly, respecting a stone is the same as bowing to it. Respecting it is a form of WORSHIP of it and makes this practice IDOLATROUS to the true God.
Everytime Muhammad came to the corner [where the Stone is] he would point to it and say “Allaahu akbar” (Allah is Greatest) towards it. The Black stone IS the visible IMAGE of Allah which was demonstrated by Muhammad choosing to directly address only the stone (and not the Kaaba) with the religious words "Allahu Akbar".
This attention goes beyond an expression of wonder, adoration, respect at something beautiful in nature OUTSIDE the Kaaba, but this takbir and the acts of prostrating and touching/kissing the stone INSIDE the Kaaba, for all intents and purposes IS an act and form of worship of the CORNER STONE-which FORGIVES SINS-which Muhammad called yamin-Allah (THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD).
For all intents and purposes, the stone is a VISIBLE IMAGE of the INVISIBLE Allah. By performing this ritual with the visible image of your god, you are entering into a pact (bay'ah) of submission and allegiance to your god.
An idol is defined as 'an image or other material object representing a deity to which religious worship is addressed.'
      Sahih Bukhari | Volume 5 | Hadith Number 661
      Narrated by Abu Raja Al-Utaridi
["We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the first one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf around it. When the month of Rajab came, we used (to stop the military actions), calling this month the iron remover, for we used to remove and throw away the iron parts of every spear and arrow in the month of Rajab. Abu Raja' added: When the Prophet sent with (Allah's) Message, I was a boy working as a shepherd of my family camels. When we heard the news about the appearance of the Prophet, we ran to the fire, i.e. to Musailima al-Kadhdhab"
Do you see the origin of the Islamic worship of the Black Stone and how this is a continuation of a pagan practice but by another god? The fact that it is located INSIDE the "house of Allah" and not outside of it (perhaps in some museum or city hall) should communicate to you that the kissing/touching and takbir to it is in fact a form of worship of the stone and that it is not placed there to be a furniture item of the Kaaba.

      2. What beloved Muslims don't know is that the place of the hajr e aswad in Islam is a deliberate, deceptive, genius and satanic imitation and mockery of the divine attributes of Jesus Christ the Son of God (1 Chronicles 17:11-15, Isaiah 9:6, Daniel 7 :13-14), which makes the blackstone both idolatrous and blasphemous. It is offensive to the true God whose name (Exodus 3:15) is "God of Abraham, Isaac and the God of Jacob" [whom the 7th century Allah of the Qur’an falsely claims to be (QS 29:46)].
Beloved Muslims are blindsided to the knowledge that many titles or attributes of the blackstone (Haji e aswad) which Muhammad began to idolize in the 7th century are a CORRUPTION and satanic imitation of the titles of Jesus Christ known centuries and millenia earlier than Muhammad’s sunah of the 7th century.
1A. Jesus is referred to as the CORNER STONE of the church [Ephesians 2:19-21]
1B. The hajr e aswad is positioned as a CORNER STONE
2A. Jesus EXPIATED sins. He atoned for our sins [Mark 2:5‭-‬7]
      2B. The hajr e aswad EXPIATES SINS (Atonement).[al-Tirmidhi, 959]
3A. Jesus is seated on the 'RIGHT HAND of God [Psalm 110:2, Luke 23:69
3B. Muhammad called the Hajr e aswad 'yamin-Allah' (THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD!).
4A. Jesus is the VISIBLE image of the INVISIBLE God [Colossians 1:15]
4B. Whether Muslims believe it or not, the reality is that the hajr e aswad IS the VISIBLE IMAGE of the INVISIBLE Allah. When one recites (pointing to/kissing/touching it) the takbir "Allahu Akbar", one is making an pact of allegiance (Bay'ah) TO Allah.
5A. Jesus intercedes for us in the throne of God. "he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." Isaiah 53:12
"Christ Jesus who died-more than that, who was raised to life-is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." Romans 8:34
5B. The black stone will intercede for those who kissed it. The hajr e aswad will be given eyes and a tongue to testify on the day of judgment.
6A. Jesus, the glory of God, came down from heaven to the earth and lived among the flesh (people) [Isaiah 40:3-5, John 1:14]
6B. The black stone fell from heaven to earth. (al-Tirmidhi, 877; Ahmad, 2792).
7A. The Son of God is the ROCK that sustained the Israelites in the wilderness. (2 Corinthians 10:4)
      7B.The Hajr e aswad is a ROCK.
You would have to either be blind or rebellious not to realize the obvious imitation of the attributes of Jesus Christ by the black stone of Islam.
I do sympathize with Muslims for struggling to come to terms with the selfless and glorious act of Jesus laying down his life for the sins of many. After all, Allah of the Qur’an keeps Muslims clueless about the animal sacrificial system (Passover Feast and the Day of Atonement) practiced after Abraham by the Israelites for the forgiveness of sins.
Jesus, who was SINLESS, just like the SPOTLESS Passover lamb which took away the sins of the Israelites (Jesus was crucified during Passover), IS the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29, Isaiah 53:12).
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
      John 15:13
Whereas God instructed Moses to build a tabernacle (where the Israelites celebrated the day of Atonement annually by slaughtering a lamb for the atonement of sins, Allah of the Qur'an's copy of Abraham went on to build an IDOLATROUS Kaaba where one could kiss a stone to have their sins atoned or "expiated" [al-Tirmidhi, 959]
The earthly tabernacle/temples of the true God were designed according to the pattern of the tabernacle in heaven [Hebrews 9:23] and the pagan Kaaba is not structured like any of the temples God has designed to be built. Tabernacle of [Exodus 25:8-9] and First temple [1Chronicles 28]
Which prophets in the Hebrew scriptures circumbulated the Kaaba and kissed the blackstone if the Kaaba was God's house in all the world? Islam has no written historical records or oral tradition of ITSELF, the KAABA, and the BLACK STONE before 610 except for the Kaaba existing as a pagan shrine. The true God would not have sent Adam or Abraham and Ishmael to set up an idolatrous image in the land.
Allah of the Qur’an needed three materials for his experiment to deceive Muslims: a desert, a box and a stone. Put the stone in the box and make Muslims believe they respect the box more than the stone. The stone is the most valuable item of the Kaaba infrastructure.
Do Jews call the wall the "right hand of God" and chant "God is Greatest" towards it? Do they believe the wall expiates sins so much that touching the wall transfers their sins on to the wall? Will the wall be given eyes and a mouth to testify on the day of Judgment?
The Hajr e aswad is an ABOMINATION through which billions of my beloved Muslims everyday are misled to commit IDOLATRY and BLASPHEMY against the true God. The 7th century Allah of the Qur’an disguises himself as the true "God of Abraham, Isaac and the God of Jacob"

      3. YOU: But I also respect/kiss/touch/bow to kings and others or other objects and I may pray towards other things; does it mean I worship them?
ME: Do you make a pilgrimage to all those things? Is the King or others or objects housed in the Kaaba? Do you do the tawaf (circumbulate) and do the qibla on them? Will those objects be given a mouth to testify on the day of Judgment? NO!
YOU: circumbulating is to demonstrate the unity of believers in the worship of the ONE God.
ME: Beloved, you will surely perish. Just because Allah shares the CONCEPT of the ONE God does not make him the TRUE ONE God. Satan also disguises himself as God and desires to be worshipped as the ONE God. Unity in idolatry does not make the practice holy.
Have pagans not worshipped a stone FALLEN FROM HEAVEN before? What Muslims worship is not different but a repackaging of what the pagans of Ephesus worshipped, because Satan keeps reinventing himself variously and in different locations as Baal, Hubal, Zues or Jupiter etc
The temple of Zues in Ephesus also housed an IMAGE WHICH FELL FROM HEAVEN!
"But when they found out that he was a Jew, all with one voice cried out for about two hours, “Great is Diana of the Ephesians!” And when the city clerk had quieted the crowd, he said: “Men of Ephesus, what man is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple guardian of the great goddess Diana, and of the IMAGE WHICH FELL DOWN FROM ZEUS (also known as Jupiter the god of the heavens)?
      Acts 19:34‭-‬35
Have we not heard this before? AN IMAGE FALLEN FROM HEAVEN housed in a temple with the chant "Great is Diana" and A STONE FALLEN FROM HEAVEN (al-Tirmidhi, 877; Ahmad, 2792) housed in the Kaaba with the chant "Allah is Greatest"?
(the Hajr e aswad IS an IMAGE through which Muslims make bay'ah to their god Allah)
The practice of venerating a stone FALLEN FROM HEAVEN is therefore an ancient trick pulled by Shaitan who himself is FALLEN FROM HEAVEN. It's happened many times before!
As they say: 'Fool ME once, shame on YOU; fool ME twice shame on ME'. Or better still: "When the facts change, I change my opinion. What do you do?"
Beloved, if you do not change but continue believing the best of the deceiver's lie of a pagan shrine, built by Ibrahim and Ishmael, containing a STONE FALLEN FROM HEAVEN, then you have been deceived by Satan's message and you will surely perish!
“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.“
      Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7
Yes, Muhammad is the servant of Allah of the 7th century, the imitation of the true God. Muhammad was deceived by a satanic ANGEL disguised as the angel Gabriel of the Bible. Muhammad is Allah's "SERVANT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS"
600 years before Muhammad met this mysterious angel in the cave, the apostles had warned the church in Corinth about Satan disguising himself as an angel:
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an ANGEL of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as SERVANTS of RIGHTEOUSNESS. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

It is always beneficial to hear someone’s perspective on Islam, as long as you are convinced yourself, so you either see a new point on the religion, or you know how the other person thinks. I for example have a totally uncomprehendibal logic. You can ask me simple questions and I will answer them totally diffrent than you would imagine and oftentimes wrong. Allah knew that the Angels would obey and Iblis also had the choice to obey by suppressing his pride, however he chose to defy Allah’s command thus failing the test that Allah set for Iblis. Allah guide you to Islam.
You are on the wrong faith. Accept Islam and you will know this:
Know that this life is nothing but a very short test. Know that the world is little and despicable, and it is not worth anything with God, and that it is the enjoyment of vanity, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, says: (If the world weighs before God the wing of a mosquito, he would not give an unbeliever a drink of water from it. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and authenticated.) As for the Hereafter, it is the abode of decision, as mentioned in the wise Qur’an.
And be confident that the believer will not be affected by anything but what is good for him. In Sahih Muslim, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:( How amazing is the affair of the believer, his affair is all good, and that is not for anyone except for the believer; If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him." And in the two Sahihs he said:( There is no calamity that afflicts a Muslim but that God expiates him for it, even a thorn prick him.)
All this suffering will be companseted to you, doubles, in what you cannot even imagine, in the hereafter.
God has no children nor he has alike!

    Hi Bobby,
Thanks for sharing your reaction on this very interesting and informative video.
Regarding your question, I heard from one of the scholars this explanation and it made sense to me.
We know from Hadith that angels are responsible for maintaining the laws of nature, so there's an angel for the rain, another for the mountains, and another for the wind and so forth. Allah's order for them to prostrate to Adam (representative of mankind) is a symbol of Allah's making this world with all its laws of nature fit for mankind to fulfill their role and purpose.
So this prostration was not out of worship but rather was as a sign of respect for Allah's new creation and obeying for his command.
    And Allah knows best.

Prostration from ancient times was of two types: prostration of worship and prostration of respect. During many of the Messengers, some followers prostrated to them. The reason for stopping the prostration of respect is so that the prostration of worship does not turn into an act of worship.

Bobby, prostration was not always meant for worship. In fact, if you read Sura Joseph, Joseph's parents and brothers did prostrate to him out of respect. This shows that what is important is the intentions behind it. But then in Islam, it was limited to the worship of Allah only as other prostrations can be easily mistaken as a worship prostration with upcoming generations. And god knows best.

Was Satan an angel or Jinn?
Are you getting this knowledge from a 7th century book or from what the prophets of old taught? (Yes the same prophets of old who taught that God is ONE):
Satan is described as a “guardian cherub.” Cherubs are angelic creatures, possibly the highest order of angels:
"You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you. Through your widespread trade you were filled with violence, and you sinned. So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God, and I expelled you, guardian cherub, from among the fiery stones. Your heart became proud on account of your beauty, and you corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. So I threw you to the earth; I made a spectacle of you before kings. By your many sins and dishonest trade you have desecrated your sanctuaries. So I made a fire come out from you, and it consumed you, and I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching.
      Ezekiel 28:14‭-‬18
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
      Matthew 25:41
Satan is an angel. He is the prince (ruler) of demons
"But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said, “No wonder he can cast out demons. He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.”
      Matthew 12:24
Whether Satan is an angel or Jinn is actually beside the point. The point is that Satan, what ever form one may imagine him to be, is able to disguise himself as an angel of light.
This is why the mysterious angel which appeared to Muhammad was Satan himself disguised as an angel of light (disguised as the angel Gabriel of the Bible).
600 years before the mysterious ANGEL and the SERVANT of Allah of the Qur’an ( Muhammad) met in a cave, the apostles wrote a letter to believers at Corinth, warning them not to be deceived by Satan disguised as an "ANGEL of light" and his "SERVANTS of righteousness":
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an ANGEL of LIGHT. So it is no surprise if his SERVANTS, also, disguise themselves as SERVANTS of RIGHTEOUSNESS. Their end will correspond to their deeds".
      2 Corinthians 11:14‭-‬15
(Research about Joseph Smith of the cultic Mormon church, another SERVANT of righteousness like Muhammad, who was also visited by an ANGEL which gave him verses to write)

Thanks Bobby for your reaction 💖💖💖🌹. The command of prostration to Adam here from Allah to the angels is the prostration of respect and not the prostration of worshipping Almighty God . Prostrating to other things than God is considered shirk or associating partners with God in Islam , but however prostration for respect before the law of prophet Muhammed and Islam was allowed in different laws of different prophets like Abraham , Moses , Issac , and Jacob which's a bow for respect and honour to some people like kings or righteous people and not for worshipping them until it was forbidden when prophet Muhammed in his law came to that prostrating in all of its meanings either in respect or worship should be for Almighty God alone and not to anything else .

      Allah guide you Bobby,
An answer to your question from my Islamic perspective:
Prostration here is out of respect and not of worshiping likewise the case when prostrating to Allah. For instance, Joseph's brothers prostrated to him as the king if Egypt and his dream was verified.
And Sheikh Ibn Baz said on Youssef's prostration:
"In the law of Muhammad (Islam), peace be upon him, this prostration is no longer permissible no one prostrates to anyone, neither to the father, nor to the husband, nor to anyone else. Hadith: (If I were to order anyone to prostrate himself before another, I would have ordered the wife to prostrate herself before her husband),
but in the law of Joseph - peace be upon him - that was the prostration of greeting, the prostration of greeting and honor, and not the prostration of worship. Honor and salutation, not prostration of worship."

  • @Diaicy19

    Question:
Why did Allah tell the angels to bow to Adam? I thought bowing was only allowed for Allah alone. The same goes for Prophet Yusuf, why did his brothers bow to him?
    Answer
    Praise be to Allah.
    Prostrating is of two kinds:
It may an act of veneration and drawing closer to the one to whom one prostrates. This kind of prostration is worship, and should only be done for Allaah, according to the laws of the Prophets.
The second type is a kind of greeting and honouring a person. This is the kind of prostration which Allaah commanded the angels to do in the case of Adam, so they prostrated to him as an act of honouring him. It was an act of worship towards Allaah on their part, because they were obeying His command to prostrate to Adam.
The prostration of Yoosuf’s parents and brothers was also a prostration of greeting and honouring, which was permissible according to the law (of Allaah) at that time. But according to the sharee’ah brought by the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), it is not permissible to prostrate to anyone at all except Allaah. Hence the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If I were to have commanded anyone to prostrate to anyone else, I would have commanded women to prostrate to their husbands.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade Mu’aadh to prostrate to him when he (Mu’aadh) said that the People of the Book prostrated to the great ones among them, and he mentioned the hadeeth quoted above. The prohibition in this sharee’ah against prostrating to anyone at all except Allaah is an aspect of its perfection in achieving true Tawheed. It is the perfect sharee’ah whose perfection is manifested in all its rulings. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion” [al-Maa’idah 5:3]

You're right when you say this doesn't seem logical to prostrate to a man, and when I started truly practicing Islam I had this question inside but I always knew there is something that i don't understand yet and for now I should just believe that there is an answer to this question. Then I found it, but I think there will be a lot of people who will disagree but this was the most logical answer to the question. The point is Allah says in the Qur'an: "fasjudu LiAdam". And this "Li" means two things, first is most popular - prostrate to Adam, but also "LiAdam" means because of Adam. It means this creation of Allah - Insan(man), it's so magnificent and great in the sight of Allah, that he commands angels to prostrate because of this occasion of creating a man. But why so? You see, in Islam and in the Qur'an Allah mentions prostrations when some miracle happens, for example when magicians saw Musa's (a.s.) staff turning into a snake they fell in prostration. To make it short, it's not the prostration to Adam but rather it is prostration to God because of the occasion of creating this magnificent creation - Adam a human being. This explains the further actions of iblees when he says "i am better than him, you created me from fire and created him (Adam) from dirt", basically iblees just saying "what's so special about him, that his creation deserves prostration, i am better", and he even gives explanation, that he created from fire, which is seemingly better than dirt, so it's pure arrogance. May Allah give you guidance, sorry if its too long text😅

I thought about your question 13:00 and us as humans are able to use logic, so I imagined that if I was there at the time and was told by the creator himself to prostrate as an acknowledgement to another creation that was great, God willing I would be one to obey. Imagine the surroundings and where you are at that time? if you think where we are now is rightly so beautiful and millions are searching are still searching the truth, at that time everything is in front of you no questions asked. So I find myself thinking how evil Iblis must have to have been to reject it.

Iblis was among the jinn and was made from the smokeless-fire. Our father Adam (AS) on the other hand, was made from dust/cray, in which God orded all angels to prostrate to Adam, except Iblis. As Iblis thought he was better than Adam because he was made from the smokeless-fire, Allah cursed him for being arrogant. Keep in mind Iblis worshipped Allah for thousands of years, and messed it up in a few seconds.

To clear out the note about the Prostration... we have two type of Prostration. The first one is worshiping Prostration which is only for allah and the second is golfing and respecting Prostration which can be preform due to the action of respect like when kings at that time people uesed to Prostrate to them. And to clearfy our beloved profet Mohammed forbidden this type of action when one of his companies prostrate to him. Thank you 🙏🏻

    11:02
it’s a prostration of greeting and respect Allah has command the angels to do. it’s not a prostration of worship. and the prostration was a form of admitting Allah Absolute power and ability to create such a creature with so much complexity so therefore they obeying Allah since they had no other choice and no free will unlike Iblis. And in Islam you will find this distinguishe between the tow types of prostrations as you will find it in the Quran you will find the same thing in the story of prophet Joseph: i will quote tow verses from it in the beginning of the chapter and in the end:
    ‎إِذۡ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّي رَأَيۡتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوۡكَبٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ رَأَيۡتُهُمۡ لِي سَٰجِدِينَ
    (4) [Of these stories mention] when Joseph said to his father,[584] "O my father, indeed I have seen [in a dream] eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me."
    (100) And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration.[618] And he said, "O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle[619] in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise.
So the prostration of respect was acceptable form at the beginning, however since Allah (SWT) has perfected the religion of Islam he made prohibited to prostrate to anyone but him.
Another evidence is from the Hadith that:
Abu Hurairah narrated that The Prophet (PBUH)said:
“If I were to order anyone to prostrate to anyone, then I would order the wife to prostrate to her husband”
    Reference: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1159

When Allah subahanahuta’ala asked the angels & iblis to prostrate, it is similar instruction when Allah subahanahuta’ala asked us Muslims to prostrate to ka’aba. We dont worship the Ka’aba but we prostrate to it because Allah subahanahuta’ala asked us to.

Many Muslims don't know, I have researched it. The answer is very simple. This order to prostrate was not for worship. It was only intended to make a confession from Iblis because he was arrogant & jealius.

    Sujood (prostration) is two types:
First type: When it is performed as a form of Worship, exaltation or seeking closeness: if done for other than Allah it is Kufr and Shirk
Second type: When it is performed as a greeting or out of respect: This was permitted in previous legislations, however in our legislation it is Haraam, and a severe sin. In fact, it may well lead to Kufr if exaltation enters into the heart.

I was myself asking the same question, yet the answer is cristall clear. In the first ages, prostration was only a kind of salutation, likely the most respectful. The holy Coran tells us, for instance, that prophet Joseph's parents and brothers prostrated before him when he received them in Egypt, even though both himself and his father (Jacob) were Allah's prophets. If you ask historians about ancient times, they will also tell you that prrostration before humans was not seen neither as a sin nor as a humiliation, untill Allah decided, at a certan point of History (i don't remember exactly when) that prostration should, from then on, be for him, and only for HIM. This is the answer to your excellent question. Salam brother.

The prostration to Adam was not the prostration of worship, that is only for Allah, rather it was the bowing of respect to Allah’s new creation.
