Are there new builds 3-7 minutes to public transit? I don't drive and work remotely but need transit within the city close by to run errands Can there be
@@localjess838 in most cases there would be options to get to public transit reasonably well. We have scooters in town now too which could be used to get to a bust stop if you were further away
Airdrie is great, it has a small town feel but all the amenities of a major city. Everything you need is like 10 minutes away (at most) and it's very quiet and peaceful. It's safe for families and all areas of the city are well kept. If you want downtown nightlife or giant malls that's the only thing missing but a drive into Calgary is 20 minutes anyway. Cross Iron Mall is pretty much the Airdrie mall along with New Horizon Mall. I lived in Calgary for many years and enjoy here much better.
Morning Brad, for me these 5 reasons are positives for me. Affordability is my no 1 take, followed by family friendly area. I love an environment where i can easily get in touch with people for a quick help or assistance. cost of renting is way too high in other parts of Alberta. I,d love to be part of the first set of people to build up this lovely city. Moreover its very idea for new immigrants like me! How does one go about renting an apartment in Airdrie pls?
I’m glad these are positives for you. Airdrie is probably a great fit! Please send me an email and I can get you connected with a property manager here in Airdrie that can help in your search for an apartment to rent!
Edge to edge it’s about 10 minutes away from Calgary. From your house in Airdrie, you’ll be anywhere from 10-20 minutes away from Calgary depending on where you live in Airdrie.

All very good points! It’s a great place to live!
We love Airdrie, family friendly community and peaceful, friendly neighborhood❤️. Glad we moved here almost 5 yrs ago.

I use to live in Airdrie and it was certainly a wonderful place to live. Great place to raise a family.
Thanks for the comment! Are you still in AB or did you move out of province?
Interesting, but we love Airdrie!! Great place for families, singles and seniors (us/haha).
Absolutely! There’s something for everyone 😁
Great place if you love hail!
In the last decade, Calgary & Red Deer have had more damaging hail than Airdrie 👌🏼 our last big one was in 2014, but we’ve been fairly calm since then
Where is Airdrie in relation to Calgary?
Edge to edge it’s about 10 minutes away from Calgary. From your house in Airdrie, you’ll be anywhere from 10-20 minutes away from Calgary depending on where you live in Airdrie.
What about a hospital ??
Nothing on the horizon that I know of. Likely a North Calgary hospital in the future will serve Airdrie
👍
Wow. A gone can come up with “5 reasons” why you shouldn’t move anywhere lol
A gone can sure do that.
Seinfeld video.
A video about nothing
Thanks for watching Mike! I take it you’re not a Seinfeld fan?
