This is it, Halo Infinite. 343 Industries' attempt to make up for the disappointment that was Halo 5: Guardians. The first moment I played the game... wow, so far I'm impressed. The new enemy faction, the Banished, appeared in one of the side games, Halo Wars 2. And they also added a grappling hook for the Chief? Oh, I'll definitely use this all day; I love it.
Anyways, the story starts off with the UNSC Infinity getting attacked by the Banished. While soldiers and crew members tried to escape, Chief stayed behind to protect those escaping. However, he gets bodied by the leader, Atriox, and gets thrown off the Infinity, getting stranded in space. That's when our companion, Echo-216, comes in. He recovers the Chief back after who knows how long.
Once Chief comes, Echo-216 wants to leave, but Chief wants to stay and fight. Reluctantly, Echo just sits back while Chief blows up the nearby Warship. After that, it's off to the Halo Ring, also called Zeta Halo.
Really good so far.
