I was there. Rangers played well that day and I remember telling my father that I thought Rangers would win the league. What did I know? Strange to think now that there was a time when these two were European greats.
The guy filming this classic , should have a plaque put up .I mean in 1968 , who would even have a colour camera then . Well done Sir Peter Morton... For saving this great win for the Rangers , for eternity
The days when the crowd was split 50/50 and we had part of the jungle .Can you now find footage of the famous come back from the dead in Sept 77/78 when we were 0-2 down at H/t and won 3-2
We were robbed! But two really great teams that pushed each other to even greater heights - a golden age of Scottish football sadly unlikely to ever be repeated.
Beating the Lisbon Lions 4-2 on their own patch was no mean feat. Shows what a great team the Bears were as well as Celtic in this era. Another great clip Mr Millar.
Amazing footage. I've often heard that rangers got part of the jungle but never seen any proof before. There doesn't appear to be any major separation or barrier between the fans. Was it all peace and harmoney in those days?
Was at this game age 13 and the Legendary We'll Support You Evermore Chant has stayed with me forever. WATP

An absolute joy to behold, simply wonderful. Eternal thanks to Pete Morton for having the forethought to film this.
Brilliant, never thought footage of this would surface. My 18th birthday, was right behind the goal up the Rangers end. What a day W.A.T.P.
I was at this unforgettable match and this brings back great memories.
Thanks very much for posting this.

I was at Whitevale Baths that day and you could hear the fans roar

That was the 1st old firm game my dad took me too.
It's was great to beat the Tims on Sunday but sad that there are so few Bears allowed to see it nowadays.
That's because we built a silly wee stadium.
Great stuff mate, wonderful.

Thank Peter
Great stuff.
Marvellous Rangers!
I was there. boys club came out for a game after the match ended.
Looks like 30K Rangers there.. even a few thousand in the jungle..
No doubt they blamed the referee.
Where the hell did you find this from mate Classic
it was filmed by my Uncle, and my cousins recently sent me the 8mm reels which I had converted to digital.
It's superb my good bluenose friend .
Now go find the 3-2 classic comeback game from Sept 1977
will let you find that one, please let me know when you have it :-)
Fighting celt . It wasn't that game you numptie .
Such a typical beggar
Edvaldsson game was 3-2 to Rangers and it was 1977 . A classic comeback from the dead .
No cameras that day
daily record headline was ""magnificent " as described by the manager of Rangers next european opponents who attended the match on a spying mission.
Look at the scum players round the referee after this loss .Even back in those days . They were always cheated , never defeated
Bye, Bye, Celtic!
