    I am interested in the SUN-12K Hybrid inverter but have a question.
    Can the SUN-12K-SG04LP3 3 phase inverter be used together with a 1 phase Microinverter (E.g. SUN2000G3) on the GEN input, or is it only possible with 3 phase input on the GEN Port ?
    (with Micro Inv. Setting)
    If it is only possible to use 3 phases on GEN port, do the phases have to be symetrical or can they have different wattage ?

      Hi,if selected, when Battery SOC is less then “Low Bat” value, the
      self-consumption power of inverter will be from grid and battery simultaneously. If unselected, the self-consumption power of inverter will be mainly from grid.

    What is the difference between home loads and backup loads. and why at the zero export to load situation dont need the ct's and from the other situation needed?

    • @JV-ro7vz
      @JV-ro7vz 5 месяцев назад +1

      backup loads are loads that can be powered solely by the inverter from PV + battery when there's no grid. most inverters, PV arrays, and battery systems aren't big enough to power every load in your home, so you have to pick which loads you want the inverter to power when there's no grid power. home loads are everything that's not backed up. in a typical install, you'll have a transfer switch that allows you to pick a handful or circuits in your home that can be powered directly from the inverter or from the grid's main connection.

    • @fernandodiaz5741
      @fernandodiaz5741 5 месяцев назад +1

      Home load is non essential appliances that don't affect your daily living. Backup load is the one you want running 24/7 even in the case of power outages and throughout the night.
      Upon installation of the system, you need to specify what's essential and what isn't to the person doing the installation for you.

    • @IgorYegorkin
      @IgorYegorkin 3 месяца назад +2

      Power for backup load is passing through Deye inverter so there's no need for external CT sensor.
      Power for home load is NOT going through the Deye inverter. But Deye is able to output power via the input port. You need external CT sensor for zero export mode because otherwise Deye doesn't know how much power is needed for your home load.

    In some cases we couldn't sell to the grid. It will be nice to have such cases described. For example I am not able to get appropriate license for now in particular location, but I still need to use this invertor as a backup. Nothing horrible will not happened but everything to the grid will be treated as consumption of power.

You have better alternative, the same like a wind turbine with deye - wind turbine generate 3phase but it's must be changed to DC Voltage and then it's connect to Deye as MPPT2 and that way, Deye not check is this is a DC from one or how many AC->DC - this way is probably best but remember, the Deye can be power up from Grid/battery only, not from PV of GEN port and MIN battery Voltage must be always bigger to unit work

    I have the deye sun 12k hybrid inverter. What is the correct setting to reach the following targets:
    1. Use solar cell power to power the home load first, the battery second and send any exceeding power to grid(zero export to ct plus sell power?)
    2. Use the battery, when power from solar is insufficient until 10% of battery capacity is reached
    3. Do not load the battery from grid
    4. If battery power is less than 10% and solar power is not sufficient, take missing power from grid to power the load
    Idea: battery should only be loaded by solar panel and should support solar panel to give the power to homeload until the 10% of battery is reached. System now should not use the battery, but take the load from grid, if necessary. Nex time when there is sufficient power coming from solar panel will power the home load and them recharge the battery. If battery is full send not needed power to grid. Thank you for your support

      if you are grid connected, back up load is a load that the inverter can power when there's no grid power (i.e., it is backed up). when your grid goes down, only the back up loads will work. the inverter has a maximum output (8kw, 6kw, whatever) and it's probably not enough to power all the loads in your home. for example, in my house, my refrigerator, freezer, and furnace are backed up by the inverter, things like my clothes dryer and air conditioner, are not, since the inverter can't provide that much power (and my batteries aren't big enough)
