Hi,if selected, when Battery SOC is less then “Low Bat” value, the self-consumption power of inverter will be from grid and battery simultaneously. If unselected, the self-consumption power of inverter will be mainly from grid.
What is the difference between home loads and backup loads. and why at the zero export to load situation dont need the ct's and from the other situation needed?
backup loads are loads that can be powered solely by the inverter from PV + battery when there's no grid. most inverters, PV arrays, and battery systems aren't big enough to power every load in your home, so you have to pick which loads you want the inverter to power when there's no grid power. home loads are everything that's not backed up. in a typical install, you'll have a transfer switch that allows you to pick a handful or circuits in your home that can be powered directly from the inverter or from the grid's main connection.
Home load is non essential appliances that don't affect your daily living. Backup load is the one you want running 24/7 even in the case of power outages and throughout the night. Upon installation of the system, you need to specify what's essential and what isn't to the person doing the installation for you.
Power for backup load is passing through Deye inverter so there's no need for external CT sensor. Power for home load is NOT going through the Deye inverter. But Deye is able to output power via the input port. You need external CT sensor for zero export mode because otherwise Deye doesn't know how much power is needed for your home load.
@@IgorYegorkin from what I understand, the AC/Grid Input also acts as an output to power home loads in addition to the load port that powers the backup loads ?
