Jack the Ripper once made the whole area famous. DJ has taken us one step further.
For that price I would expect a much bigger tub.
You missed a couple of grains of rice there Darren .....what a choice of donuts x
Hi Darren, your, I Thai Street food, looked Fantastic. So Lovely that you Enjoyed it. You'll be getting ready for your own, Thailand trip in Bangkok soon 🎉🎉 So glad you enjoyed your Custard Doughnut 🍩. The raspberry Pink doughnut 🍩 looked Nice 😍
Thank you for the amazing video of street food in London's famous markets 👍
Wait till you get to Thailand..You think this is good ..pad Thai in Thailand average price about £2!! Oh and you have to try Morning Glory extra chilies.. Incredible..
Rip off prices
You are probably correct with a tenner...but that cutlery pack is probably worth two ...
Nice detail....great upload thank you. 👍
Thought you might like to know the ground chicken dish is a Northern Thai dish called Larb Guy,,it has roasted ground rice in it,and is one of my favorite dishes,if you see Larb Moo,then it’s ground pork.Next time try Khow Soi,a curry soup full of chicken, and noddles.Thai food is wonderful,I feel sorry for people that look and walk away, they know not what they miss.😊
Thank you for another amazing tour. Spitalfields has changed significantly. The Ten Bells?
There was too little of it the price was too high to tell you the truth when I first saw it it looked like something I vomited up. I have a Thai takeaway near me, it costs me about £9 for a special or duck chop suey in oyster gravy, egg fried rice and Thai Curry, it tastes great and there are three times as much, in fact, I have to split it in half because I cannot eat it all.
A lot of rice for £12 did not look like a lot of chicken
Too expensive, the portion size was definitely small for that extortionate price!
Ooooh custard donuts are my absolute favourite, mouth was watering watching this 😋
Borough market is as scam.
Darren, I loved the shot of you scraping the last drop out of the bowl! My Home-Cooked meals are so delicious every day, that I scrape the Willow Pattern off the bottom of my dinner plate every time, to catch every last morsel! The sign of a Happy Diner!...😋...! Donughts?...I would always go for the classic Raspberry Jam one...the front of my jacket loves them!...LOL...! ....😊...😊...!
Most food that is 'ground' contains almost every edible part of that animal, and more, waste not want not.
Darren,it might taste nice but it looks like something the dog threw up !!!
My thoughts exactly.
I like your videos, Darren, because we all get to see a bit of Londinium! ... I've not been to the capital for a long time! ... Although, as a northerner, Coronation Street is my favourite, you always remind me of somebody from EastEnders! You're quite the character!
My mate Keith at Centre Point SE1, has stopped being a little sh*t, and we're mates again! I don't know if he eats London Street Food, but there's an Asda near Centre Point! 👍😋🤣
"Aisle Food" ... I had a very nice Aldi knock-off Pot Noodle the other day! Chicken & Mushroom! ... It was "Off The Charts" for £0.69! 👍😋🤣
The Thai food looked really delicious. The custard filled doughnut would have been my choice as well...I hope it's good custard, DJ!! I love street markets, I remember them from my time in Germany & S. Korea...Germany, especially, was the most delicious food I've ever eaten!!
The Thai dish looked fab and jasmine rice is the bizz . To your question..a donut of any persuasion is measured by the King... The Jam Donut .. but 3 quid is way beyond ..I was expecting you to say 3 quid for four. If you get the timing right a little helper supermarket gets you 5 for £1.10 and they are super doughy before midday. 3 quid a pop i'd hope you get airmiles with them not just clubcard points.
I just find the prices of many of these places difficult to get past - especially in respect to street food which is supposed to be cheap and affordable, hence its popularity.
It’s like Arndale Market in Manchester - it was a great place for so much food but prices are getting more expensive.
Also, if you like spicy Thai dishes - my go to is Chicken Pad Kraw Pow.
Usually comes with jasmine rice and a fried egg but I always try and swindle noodles if I can.
Lovely!!!!
What I can see nowdays is the quit expensive street food. Be honest a rice dish for £ 12,- and a donut £ 3,- is not a bargain. But okay, unless you enjoyed it, it's okay for me.
I love Spitalfields❤ not just for the food. They also do jewellery, music, vintage fashion.
Something for everyone.
Personally preferred the look of the curry DJ. Did going 1/2 and 1/2 muddy the flavours?
Hi Darren 👋 looks like 👍 you enjoyed it Thai food spillitfieid Market what more do you want fifteen quid for 2 things you only get wat you pay for 👌👋
My sis went to grammar school in Spitalfields square, fancy restaurant now.
So much to choose from! 🥰☀️🥰xxx
You can’t beat Spitalfields for something to eat. The variety there is mind blowing I find it difficult to choose!
Puts me off, because it has the word, "Spit" in the name! 👎🤮🤣
@@marcse7enhow come? This is insane!
Custard doughnut every time (if I wasn't diabetic !) x
£3.00 for a doughnut OMG.🥴
Tasty even better heated up though can't beat 😅
Thay are large and been told nice
You can get 6 from Tesco for less than £2
@@chrisryanst you can tell the difference between those ones and proper hand made quality pal!!!
£5 Victoria park! 🤭
You'll enjoy Bangkok, the same dish would cost you about two quid.
Wowzers!! I’ve literally just eaten my tea and seeing that ! 😮 amazing !!!! 😋😋😋 much love as always beaute ❤❤❤❤
I trust your taste because you always promote quality and call it like it is. Having said that I, like many others initially eat with their eyes, and that to me looked wholly unappetising. As always thumbs up for the vlog though.
I didn't think £12.00 bad for thai .. . Mind doughnut expensive.. 😮
Looked delicious😋
Jasmine rice is fluffy not sticky, glutinous rice or 'Khao neow' and it's well different so try (Addies at Earl's court) for excellent authentic thai food.
Never been there !! Thanks for the heads up . Definitely would of gone for the fresh cream doughnut 😊😊
Flavour, flavours, flavour town. But no description of the actual flavours in the food
That all looked fantastic. It'd be the custard doughnut for me. Spot on and another excellent review.
Dark chocolate covered ring doughnut all the way!!!
If you are in the area of spitefield then please go to same Pakistani restaurant okay
The variety of food in the market was amazing & what you had did look good ( though I’m not a fan of very spicy) The doughnut tbf was not that expensive Very enjoyable vlog Darren xx👍👍💖
For me, I do not blend or do half n half of Thai food; each has its own best taste.
£12 for that is great, I can pay £12in any local pub in Northampton
A taste sensation. The food looked lovely. I would have had a custard doughnut too.
Only thing I could fault is the London prices.
Just told my US friend in the UK to do a cabbie stand but his now in Budapest.
nice one D J
Custard donut but I wouldn’t pay £3.00 !
That will cost just over one pound here in Thailand You will love the food here
I love street food & that looks delicious 😋🍛🍴🌶️.I would pick a custard doughnut 😋Thanks DJ🤗
Value for money 😂😂😂I DON'T AGREE. MY OPINION 🎉
Mind blowing street food, it's all about quality, glad that your getting a lot of subscribers on your food channel, hopefully more to subscribe
When you said i-tie food. At first i thought Italian 😂
1.50 in STOP,STOP,STOP Doughnuts I'm in heaven 😊😊OK, that looks a vibrant bowl of food ( why the American " ground" chicken 🐔 its minced. Some type of flatbread would have been a help with the juices 😊£11.95😂 for a good feed in London 😮 add a doughnut and still have change from £15❤❤ Does one of each sound a tadge greedy 😢Still a working market, brilliant. Cheers until the next one Allan&Family
4 custard donuts for a quid in my local Co-op !
Algorithm comment - all the best.
Always love Thai food with their sweet, hot , salty, sour blend. Enjoy
Sugar ring for me mate. You cutlery set reminded me of the cutlery we would nick of BA from flights back and forth. I used to work near Spitalfields, there were some great little gems of shops around there.
Yeah it looked delicious but about £9 for me
Another top review of street food in central London Darren
Congratulations on
1M ❤
Loves me a thai green curry slurp, looks nice this one dj 😋, on the knife and fork front comparison ,i bring my own plastic straw to the movies as i cant slurp out of them cardboard straws they produce in the cinema for my coca cola 😀
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked passed those donuts and managed to resist. You were doing so well until that point!
Hi Darren that looked really tasty really lovely seeing the different stalls with food we do not have any thing like that in Ireland I think the prices were worth it for the quality majella Ireland best regards
Where did you get your cutlery ?
Lunch looked ok not my choice, custard donuts ,yes please all day long lol 😜
That meal looked great! OTC for the donuts as well!
I have grown to appreciate Thai Food after a rotten example of it in Australia put me off. Now I experiment and enjoy. That looked seriously good DJ. JimN

Looked delicious DJ! The great thing about street food is they make it to order so it’s steaming hot and fresh! My favourite doughnut? A ring doughnut definitely! Til the next one DJ! 🍲🍩💜🍴🥄
Cant beat a sugar ring
Clean Bowl, well done.
😂amazing London street food 🍲 £12 that's fine dj its London nothing cheap there 😅😅
Proper donut, lovely, traditional Jam for me x
I'll take that , Darren. The doughnuts looked a real treat. Lovely , amazing Thai curry.
Spitalfieds is great isn't it? if you get the chance check it out. ..Quality street food that makes you smile.
All looked lovely , I would have a jam for me please , can you post one lol
I love Thai food and that looked amazing!! Street food in London really is next level. Not cheap but it looked bang on and so convenient. You always find and share such amazing spots. 😊❤
Looks lovely, if a tad small for £12. We're so lucky down here, out in the sticks, but a Thai lady cooks the best food nearby.
It was lovely to see your vlog but I don’t like Thai food unfortunately. But I love donuts, the jam ones look fabulous.😀
So good
Convenient.
I'm not really a fan of doughnuts, DJ, but I'd have had to try one of those. And I think you chose the one I would have got. That looked delicimo! As soon as I saw your meal I wondered whether it would be enough to fill you. I'd have been tempted to buy two!
Excellent... always a pleasure good sir from myself and Mrs anon ❤❤❤
The doughnuts looked great but can’t say I like that they are all uncovered and could be touched by anything or anybody, I’m not actually a fussy eater at all but they say the same about don’t eat the snacks put out on a bar at the pub 😂 I do love foodie places like that, used to go to Borough Market but not been for years now Marylebone High Street on a Sunday was always a great foodie place. Back to doughnuts, it is a known challenge to try and eat a doughnut without licking your lips 😅
Doughnuts naughty but nice so rude not to 😊
Looks great, but try Rollin Dogs, they are great too. I had Jam doughnut.😍
£3 For a Doughnut
You think that’s Thai food wait till you come to Thailand then you will see real Thai street food it will only cost you about 2:50 in English money our less
I have been living in Thailand for over 10 years in a place called Hau hin on the main land so if you do come here I will be waiting for your reviews
one of my favourite markets
Jam doughnut for me
😅
Thai food is one of my favorite dishes and that looked fantastic and the smile said it all. Good looking doughnut as well. Cheers Darren.
