Kathleen I find your recommendations pretty darn accurate. Because of that, I always watch your favorites. Every time I buy that stupid almond shower oil I say ... "That Kathleen, again" & of course I love it. I love painterly so I'm totally buying that MAC eye primer now. & I'm buying some Maybelline matte lippies & that Loreal mascara.
I also have dry skin & the struggle is real. Fortunately I have it under pretty good control. Lots of water, vitamins & healthy eating to include biotin. My skin care consists of creamy cleansers & balms. Witch Hazel toner or aloe or an organic apple cider vinegar solution. Hyaluronic acid serum. Manuka honey masks (because of you) & facial oils. Organic Coconut Oil is good but my personal favorite (b/c I'm allergic to Coconut Oil) is organic Castor Oil. Applied at night, as a replacement for moisturizer. Its literally changed my concept of hydration. Under my make-up I use Bobbie Brown hydrating face cream & after that absorbs I use Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue under foundation. I didn't care for the Charlotte Tilbury powder but I do love Laura Mercier translucent setting powder & secret brightening powder under my eyes. I've also discovered her eyebright eye primer & I'm in looove. Dry skin is a daily struggle, I can't skip hydration, twice a day every day or else I'll have patches the next day.

I feel like every lipstick looks great on her, AND her lips are a naturally pretty pink shade with nothing on them. Neither of these things are true for me - I am so jealous..

MrsKrikit yes! the concealer is great too. i actually use the concealer to highlight under my eyes and on the high points of my face, and i set it with the fit me powder and it stays on ALL day. its great, you should definitely try it.
Hi Kathleen! A few weeks ago I was browsing the Maybelline lipsticks section of Target and I remembered you saying how great Lust For Blush is, so I tried it out. I cannot get over how pretty it is. My local Ulta never carried "Champagne Pop" so I haven't gotten a chance to swatch it. Buuuuut "Bombshell" by Looxi Beauty is a hair different than Champagne Pop! at half the price. So for anyone who wanted that highlight and couldnt get it check out Looxi they have tons of other gorgeous highlighters!

i have dry under eyes and that maybelline concealer is by far the best concealer ive ever used. it blends beautifully and doesnt cake up or accentuate my little fine lines. its a must try ladies! one thats similar that i also enjoy is the rimmel match perfection concealer in the blue tube. i really like it. and i also liked the rimmel wake me up concealer. but again, i have very dry under eyes

I had to pause the video to say yesssss!! The Milani lip liner in Spice has been one of my favorites for the past year. I always get compliments on it, especially when paired with Rose Femme lipstick by Milani.

I've been using the Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation that goes with that concealer & I have been SO impressed with how my skin looks since using it. I usually wear a more matte foundation but this makes my skin glow & is light coverage which I am loving this summer.
Finally ; ) The telescopic mascara is the first and only one I have ever used and will use till the end of time. Spot on Kathleen, with the natural falsies look. Mine look amazing every time!

If you are in need of a good foundation, I have a recommendation. It's from the drugstore and I totally recommend the revlon color stay foundation for dry to normal skin! It is the best and I have dry and so so sensitive skin well more like pretty bad sensitive skin and I feel like my skin looks ten times better when I use this foundation. If you aren't on a budget I recommend the urban decay naked skin foundation! A little goes a very long way sooooooo keep that in mind. My only problem with that foundation is that if you use way too much it looks terrible but yeah there you go
Yes please! I have uber dry/ dehydrated skin, but sometimes need a powder on my nose and under my eyes. Trying to find a powder that looks silky and gives a sheen to the skin is so hard,me specially from the drug store. They all look chalky. I would be eager to see your recommendations!

Hey Kathleen! So I have a face moisturizer that I absolutely loveeee but I have been having such a hard time finding a primer that works with it. I know people are going to cringe when I say this but I use the aveeno body lotion on my face (not the one with spf!) it is my HOLY GRAIL!! Being a dry/sensitive girl yourself I think you would honestly appreciate it! I've been using it for over 5years never break out always keeps my skin so moisturized and even better it does not leave that oily after affect I absolutely hate! I have tried other moisturizers even the aveeno Face moisturizer and then my face will hate me. To get to the point I don't want to change my moisturizer it's so good for my face and SO cost effective I just would like to find something that works with it. I hope you can give it a try since you've tried so many primers and I have had no luck, who knows you might even love it! By the way I'm a new subscriber and your seriously my new beauty guru!

This month I've really been loving the ready set gorgeous concealer, yes I am way behind on this, which is strange because at first I really didn't like it at all. It stays on pretty much all day and is pretty light but offers medium coverage. Also, since its summertime I've been loving the jergens natural glow to give me a little bit of a summer tan. My only advice would be to exfoliate before applying (which holds true for all self tanners) otherwise its a little bit patchy but I really like the color that it gives because it looks really natural and soft.
