Idea of how it should end Richie cancels a show without telling Eddie a gets on a plane and when he gets there Eddie has already gone to work so Richie unlocks the door goes inside and waits after awhile Eddie comes home upset because Richie isn’t answering him and when he gets inside he sees Richie asleep on the couch with flowers witch had fallen out of his hands after he fell asleep and Eddie is just happy Richie is home
In the book he gets his arm ripped off and dies so a lot of people go with that arc in fix-it stuff cause it’s more plausible that he’d survive that than getting literally impaled in the stomach/chest.
