i'm kind of mixed. for the majority of time i just put on random stuff on me and go out to conquer the world, primarily because it's extremely tiring for me and expensive to find clothes and fits that i like and are good. I wonder if it is an INFP exclusive thing to always keep a random item from a moment in the past to cherish a memory? They develop a bond with an inanimate object, because it has a meaning for them, reminds them of a time they had fun with their friends and loved ones. Then somebody tries to throw such item in the garbage and we as infp get upset? I have stuff like pebbles from trips, tiny badges, soda cans, leaflets, sketches or words on a piece of paper. Not many people that I know of do this. Some find it weird, some completely understand.
Number 5 is actually so accurate, I always point out at things like the sky, the way the stars align, the way a cloud looks or even how close a plane is while going by. Why am I so weird?😂😂😂
My brother came back from a vision quest, and it was one of the few times that I could look all the way to the back of his eyes, and see clear happiness. With most people, I see either dishonesty, mixed motives, or other bad things. I used to have happy conversations with old friends. They were honest people so that was fine.
Oh, that’s another great reason why it can be difficult for us INFP’s to make direct eye contact. People’s eyes do “pull us in” and we can see and feel and sense the inner world of the other person, and sometimes it can be painful to connect with another’s personal inner turmoil, like, woof. That’s beautiful that your brother had such happiness in his soul after the vision quest! I’m so happy for him.
I always go to the terrace of my house every evening to adore the sky. When I walk in road also I keep pointing the sky and says it's beautiful to my friend.
I’m naturally quite an aggressive INFP, so I usually see eye contact as a dominance battle or just straight out attack. If I’m not in attack mode though, eye contact is the absolute worst, lol.
Why is everything so accurate 😭 I really appreciate the night sky when walking my dog. I'd take pictures of the stars with my phone (even though it's barely visible) and uncontrollable laughing before telling a joke is too real. Also laughing at a joke even after everyone moved on ✋ It's so me. My friends would cast me weird looks because of it. Then there are just times where I'd dress up with a modest fashion sense in mind and at other times, I'd care less about how I look as long as I wore appropriate clothing. And about the bullies-it's quite true as well! Amazing observation, this video 🫶.
There are days where I will look people directly in the eyes to the point of overdoing it. Other days, I’ll speak without even looking in their direction (otherwise, just in their vicinity to be polite but not the eyes) because I’m so spaced out and don’t have the strength required to engage with the soul before me on such a deep level. I did notice that it became easier for me to look people in the eye after taking a theatre class where we were required to meet the eyes of our theatre partner for an uncomfortable full minute without breaking contact. After several of these exercises, it became easier and I was able to extrapolate that skill outside of the classroom.
@@dedmu5793I knoww, I’ve learned to control it though luckily. U know I’ve been so disappointed to hear that mbti is pseudoscience bc it has been quite accurate for me.
So me.. though I am close to a ENFP. I can make eye contact but it took lots of practice. I loved the sleeping bear metaphor. I always tell people that no I'm not angry.. you'll know when I'm angry. Lol
Huh, I was actually surprised for once, the giggle-proneness was unexpected and veeery true for me. I, however, don't see me dressing simply or without bright colors and cool shapes ever in my future, and love rings and accessories of many kinds... I am soooo patient but yes, I am scary when I get mad. The old soul/young soul is also true, although the younger one is more apparent to people that know me better, and I'm very self-aware about the areas where I am still immature. The eyes thing is just completely wrong for me. I usually look people in the eyes unless it's a long convesration, and with long I mean 1+ hours, but it also depends where the other person and I are (if we're talking in a car, I will probably not look into their eyes too much, because of the orientation of the seats). Eye contact is really important for me, and I can understand if it is too much for some to look into mine, but I wanna make sure that the person *knows* that I'm interested in what they're saying and that I am 100% present.
I look into people eyes, only when I’m close enough with them, though after i look for a while i twnd to get lost in my own thoughts I totally forget what I was doing 😂
The uncontrollable laughter is why I didn't finish uni and also why I've never gone to watch stand up comedy and have never tried to do stand up myself.
The eye part is so funny. My partner who I think is enfp told me I had a bit of a lump on neck from always looking down. It's gone now and since meeting him I can look people in the eye though not often 😂
So true on the fashion front. My husband is always encouraging flashy clothing… I’m always, no thank you. T shirt and comfy jeans please. My art club is having a Christmas party and a contest for best costumes. DREADING. May not participate.and thirdly, I occasionally catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror as I’m about to leave the house, and I’m forced to change at least one item of attire. The Norwegian sweater clashing with the red sneakers and tie died tights. True story. I just reach for what’s comfortable and they rarely co-ordinate. But unless I do a double take myself, I might just say screw it and hope I don’t get laughed at…
The part about the replaying of jokes is so true. I tend to repeat things I like. Movies. Series. Books. Conversations and dialogue. I just thought I'm mentally not well lol. Turns out it's just me. ❤my go too used to be favs like star wars and buffy. And recently the brigerton series.😊
try developing your Te so you can pose as INTP when first meeting people, as you get to know them, you open up and then, when you're closer, eye contact wont be so painful anymore
@@oceanallama You don't have to tell your mind anything :D Start rationalizing everything and apply critical thinking. If you begin zoning out, pull yourself back to this logical framework. At first I had a hard time making eye contact but the moment I received a tip to eye contact that you have to look at their foreheads, it changed my life in an instant.
A 7th sign is the perpetual head tilt. Re-watch the animation of this video and notice how many times the animated people tilt their head to the side. I believe the head tilt is symbolic of our gift of seeing a different or hidden side to people and situations. Where others might see an unforgivable sinner, we see a person in search of redemption. Others see leaves and trees. We see the masterful artistry of nature. Others see despair. We see hope. Hence, the iconic INFP head tilt. If we're looking straightforward and directly at a person or situation, we See them and the truth. That could be good or bad, depending upon if we like 🤩 or dislike 🤬 what we see. update: an 8th sign of an INFP is our seemingly random comments. A previous commenter stated their favorite part of summer is the sky...such an INFP thing to say 😂❤. Our responses seem random only because we are replaying and replying to the conversation in our head. Plus, we are masters of indirect answers/hiding in plain sight. Discussing Mother Nature is one of our favorite subjects and a quick way to get us to enthusiastically reveal ourselves. So much for hiding 🫣😳😂
As an INFP, I found everything to be accurate except the 'letting insults slide' part. Depending on how well I know the person, I'll either act shocked or chuckle, but I do take them very personally.
The clothing is so true! Either my style is simple or sometimes I do care and show my interests, and 100 percent the child like looking yet old soul. But I have lerand to look at people in their eyes but when I am nervous I can't. But sometimes when I look at them in their eyes I can't really pay attention to what they are saying
so accurate, I wondered if I was autistic with the eye contact etc. Might be too hard to discern I do have hypersensitivities to smells and feel/textures of clothing but the personality type really complicates getting a diagnosis.
I'm an INFP and I'm always ok with it, if someone cancels meeting up with me and wants to meet up at a later time or date, I never get bored when I'm by myself, maybe that's also an INFP thing.
Oh wow…INFP female here…this is so accurate for me and comforting to an extent but also it’s giving me ‘pre-programmed’ vibes and a lack of uniqueness 😅
I will usually let insults pass by, I don't like violence and i try to steer away from them if possible. I love to be around people, but if they are purposefully doing something over and over again, not at all doing a good job. I will eventually break and begin being a little cold. but I then realize what's happening and go back to being peaceful and apologizing uncontrollably. I am not able to actually stand up for myself, when I get hit with criticism. I take it to the heart, I feel like the world is slipping under my feet. I want to be better, but its just so hard.
As an INFP-A, I confirm this 100 and 100000 percent! :D esp ,,giggles", ,,child/old soul", and ,,sleeping bears" parts. I even have a strange attraction to bears. :D everything is so truth mentioned in this video!
As an INFP i agree with everything except lack of eye contact. I am always curious to the eyes of people because it gives you a lot of information. We are observers.
The silliest one but also the most reliable is probably the one about the sky honestly. I don't even know what it is but every INFP I've ever met is all about pointing out the sky, and taking pictures of it to make sure others can also appreciate the beauty. Hell my friend group is probably sick of all the pictures of the sky I send but that's not gonna make me stop. Also, have you seen the INFP subreddit? xD
Number 6. My friends were planning to insults some organization in my school (they're actually wrong, everyone hates them) and after they're coming, my friends shocked because I insulted them right before their eyes😭 I can't handle it and I accidentally laugh sarcastically 😭 my friends going silent and I was like "why are you guys so quiet?! That's unfair to me," I said that in my head.
As an INFP, this actually explains me VERY well. Maybe not quite as much for the last one but I also don't hear about stuff to my face that makes me mad very much at all. I also normally wouldn't act like that in public, I have sometimes acted like that at home. I was actually surprised how well this explains me though!
And about the eye contact thing, yes I used not to be comfortable with eye contacting, but when I experienced not being looked in the eyes while talking might be a little disrespectful , I started to train myself to look them in the eyes. Note : after that one person came to me and said “looking in my eyes makes me kinda uncomfortable , so please stop” , so when ever I talk to a person i ask if they’re comfortable with eyes contact or not lmao 😭💀💀
@@siro_chan4496 sometimes glasses help mitigate the intensity of staring into someone's souls. 😎 other times, it feels like it's magnified 🧐 I have no answer, hence trying to avoid direct eye contact and hide in plain sight 🥸
I make eye contact in two situations: 1 if I'm talking to someone who will get offended if you don't make eye contact with them and 2 if I'm facing off a bully:P.
I definitely make eye contact. I can’t connect w people if there is no eye contact. And if the person I am talking w doesn’t make eye contact w me, I become uninterested because I don’t feel they are listening or interested in what I have to say.
I was obsessed with staring at the sky as a kid. Eye contact is true but not when talking to someone. I avoid eye contact with random people on the street and prefer to look at the ground or anywhere else. However, I’m okay with eye contact when talking to someone unless I’m thinking about what I want to say then I might look away
The fashion sense is on point, everyday is like "Who do i want to be today? E-girl? Downtown girl? Coquette girl? Y2k girl?" or sometimes i might be overdressed or underdressed, Depending on my mood😂
If I make eye contact with someone while speaking, my voice will sometimes tremble, and I feel like I need to catch my breath after every word I say. But thankfully this only really happens with people I'm not close to lol. Does this happen to any other INFPs? It's so embarrassing lmao 😭
Pretty much anytime I look someone in the eyes. Plus I've become so used to listening to people's vocal cues that when I do look them in the eyes it always seems like I'm either offending them or that they're judging me. So then I look away again and everything's alright and I can read the person again.
I am an infp, all accurate af, also 4:00 This dosen’t happen often i can inly remember one time i yelled at someone angerly in thw last like 10 years. I was a roomate i let stay with me because she got kicked out where she was living, long story short she took advantage of my kindness and i told her she had to start looking for another place to stay. She preceeded to start screaming and crying and telling me how hard its been for her to adjust, btw before this moments she had told me this has been the happiest and most comfortable she had ever been anywhere including living with family, and she started playing victim locking herself inside our bathroom yell and sceraming talking on of her friends on the phone. This friend i already told that i was asking her to find a new place to live befause i wanted her friend to be awaear of the situation before hand. And when i asked her to stop scream in the bathroom she yell back at me, "cant i kick myaelf out in peace, just throw mystuff outside. At this point i didnt tell her she had to leave now i tols her she needs to start looking for somewhere else to stay because she isnt my child and if she not going carry her weight i cant have her here. But i ended yelling back and took all of her stuff outside
Everyone one in my family was very caught off guard by the entire situation because they never seen me get that upset, what mainly passed me off was her playing victim as she was living rent free and food free and bill free for almost 2 months at this point. I helped her get a job with a restaurant my brother was a manager at and she got fired for not showing u0

“Yes please!😍”
The fashion, the looking at the mouth (always!), the underdogs, even the exploding rage... I feel seen! 😂
I dress modest/earthy sometimes, but for the most part my style has always been eccentric, the more accessories-the better in my opinion. I love self expression through style and when I can’t self express through style, it feels like a part of me is missing. Any other INFPs like this?
me too. i need to shine from time to time
🙋🏾♀️
i'm kind of mixed. for the majority of time i just put on random stuff on me and go out to conquer the world, primarily because it's extremely tiring for me and expensive to find clothes and fits that i like and are good. But when i manage to make a real outfit, it's always expressive and very personal
Very boho, lots of jewelry, bright intense colors, flowing lines. And I would never call myself "earthy", though others have.
agree being a gothic INFP it's all about the accessories.
I've been undecided for ages if I was an INFP or an INTP. The tests are also "confused", as my F and T scores are balanced. This video clears things for me - I feel seen. 😌 Thank you
samee
im like that right now but I still dont know any advice?
I have a friend who's also between INFP and INTP; I'm an ISFP.
I always tested as Infp in my 20s briefly as Intp, but back to Infp. The thinking aspect may be the info deep dive point in life that enables to gain useful perspective later on.
The test is very inaccurate it is best to learn cognitive functions
I am an INFP-A and I must say that everything here is 100% accurate for me!
How do you become an INFP - A? I need to learn from you!
@@Turmericc Uhhhhhh
I dunno-

I wonder if it is an INFP exclusive thing to always keep a random item from a moment in the past to cherish a memory? They develop a bond with an inanimate object, because it has a meaning for them, reminds them of a time they had fun with their friends and loved ones. Then somebody tries to throw such item in the garbage and we as infp get upset? I have stuff like pebbles from trips, tiny badges, soda cans, leaflets, sketches or words on a piece of paper. Not many people that I know of do this. Some find it weird, some completely understand.
mee too
yes! I once held on to the empty container of sour war heads drops for like a year, because it was something I shared with my first boyfriend.
OMG…I totally start remember things and laugh for no apparent reason.
Number 5 is actually so accurate, I always point out at things like the sky, the way the stars align, the way a cloud looks or even how close a plane is while going by. Why am I so weird?😂😂😂
OMG...this nailed several aspects for me, that I'd never heard. I get chills.
@@victoriao7039 Thank you. I was really happy for him, too.
This channel has been the #1 most accurate that I've seen on the internet.
As an INFP, i loved this video, specially the part where the sky is shown.
This is a really beautiful personality, I know an INFP and it's true, she never miss to point out if the moon is or the sky are special that day.
Looking someone in the eye is really intense. I get flooded with everything, and so I look away lest I be swept away.
An INFP’s best friend and worst enemy is just their brain.
I really like your videos! They’re well made and accurate haha
This is basically EVERYBODY!
they eyes thing is explained in such a perfect way here. I was always trying to find a better way of saying it.
I believe this is spot on
i’m an INFP & literally personify every single thing mentioned in this video
4 is so true 😭 ppl used to call me weird for that but I can’t control but laugh at times.
the worst is when you meet new people and can't help but laugh without a reason, then they think you're nuts 😂
@@dedmu5793I knoww, I’ve learned to control it though luckily. U know I’ve been so disappointed to hear that mbti is pseudoscience bc it has been quite accurate for me.
@@Floral_skies2727 mbti is pseudoscience but cognitive functions hold some scientific reliability
@@dedmu5793Yea, I took the michael caloz test and it used cognitive functions. Interesting to know about this personality theory though.
So me.. though I am close to a ENFP. I can make eye contact but it took lots of practice. I loved the sleeping bear metaphor. I always tell people that no I'm not angry.. you'll know when I'm angry. Lol
i thought no one understood me well enough, but this video proved me wrong 💀
I look into people eyes, only when I’m close enough with them, though after i look for a while i twnd to get lost in my own thoughts I totally forget what I was doing 😂
i am infp but can show shades of infj :) the eye contact is exceptionally hard for me. i feel like im invading personal space.
The uncontrollable laughter is why I didn't finish uni and also why I've never gone to watch stand up comedy and have never tried to do stand up myself.
scary how accurate everything is.. literally everything
As an INFP this is totally relatable
This is the most accurate thing I have ever heard. ❤
The eye part is so funny. My partner who I think is enfp told me I had a bit of a lump on neck from always looking down. It's gone now and since meeting him I can look people in the eye though not often 😂
also easier to type and talk via messengers than in person. another way to spot one of us.
But unless I do a double take myself, I might just say screw it and hope I don’t get laughed at…
Oh gosh, yeah it’s honestly embarrassing when I have to tell myself to stop laughing. “I’m at a funeral” is what I repeat in my head lol
The eye contact one is so real, I tear up whenever I make eye contact with mostly everyone except my closest people
try developing your Te so you can pose as INTP when first meeting people, as you get to know them, you open up and then, when you're closer, eye contact wont be so painful anymore
@@dedmu5793 how do it do that though? I can't just go into my mind and tell my inferior Te to be less submissive to Fi
@@oceanallama You don't have to tell your mind anything :D
Start rationalizing everything and apply critical thinking. If you begin zoning out, pull yourself back to this logical framework. If you zone out completely, don't beat yourself up about it, get back to Te.
With time it'll become second nature and will improve not only eye contact, but your life in general.
@@dedmu5793 thank you! I kind of ready do that
At first I had a hard time making eye contact but the moment I received a tip to eye contact that you have to look at their foreheads, it changed my life in an instant.
It's unsettling that all of these were accurate. 😂😂😂😂
I enjoy this video.
I'm giggling.
As an INFP, I found everything to be accurate except the 'letting insults slide' part. Depending on how well I know the person, I'll either act shocked or chuckle, but I do take them very personally.
I feel aggressively called out.... Your day right through me and didn't even make eye contact!
I was expecting BS but these were spot on 👏
The clothing is so true!
As an INFP, I definitely dress in a very simple manner (lots of basics), although I love fashion and even work in fashion retail.. ;-)
I'm an INFP and I'm always ok with it, if someone cancels meeting up with me and wants to meet up at a later time or date, I never get bored when I'm by myself, maybe that's also an INFP thing.
introvert thing, I think. we can be entertained by our own thoughts.
The gigglers part is so trueeee when I saw it I remembered a joke my friend told me during quarantine and lmao I can’t stop laughing 😭😭
As an INFP i agree with everything except lack of eye contact. I am always curious to the eyes of people because it gives you a lot of information. We are observers.
Lmao the eye contact is so true, my mom gets so annoyed at me and my family thinking i'm doing it on purpose, ugh it's a real struggle
Oh my gosh, this is so true except the eye contact. I naturally make strong eye contact. Overall this was so accurate 😁.
looks into stranger's eyes...... 30seconds later I'm already on the 3rd trilogy of our love story thriller action sci fi comedy drama
this is so accurate watching this as an actual infp
INFPs are unicorns for me. I hear about them but don't know any....or maybe I just can't identify them?
The silliest one but also the most reliable is probably the one about the sky honestly. I don't even know what it is but every INFP I've ever met is all about pointing out the sky, and taking pictures of it to make sure others can also appreciate the beauty. Hell my friend group is probably sick of all the pictures of the sky I send but that's not gonna make me stop.
Also, have you seen the INFP subreddit? xD
I don’t what I am so confused lol because people say I am not good at understanding someone so does that make an intp?
Wooow this is so me 😂 I love clouds
Almost on-point on everything for me…def I’m an info
As an INFP, this actually explains me VERY well. Maybe not quite as much for the last one but I also don't hear about stuff to my face that makes me mad very much at all. I also normally wouldn't act like that in public, I have sometimes acted like that at home. I was actually surprised how well this explains me though!
And about the eye contact thing, yes I used not to be comfortable with eye contacting, but when I experienced not being looked in the eyes while talking might be a little disrespectful , I started to train myself to look them in the eyes.
Note : after that one person came to me and said “looking in my eyes makes me kinda uncomfortable , so please stop” , so when ever I talk to a person i ask if they’re comfortable with eyes contact or not lmao 😭💀💀
infp: "hi, are you comfortable with me looking directly into your eyes and the vortex of your soul?" 🥰
@@MangoLime1 No for real I do that 💀
@@siro_chan4496 sometimes glasses help mitigate the intensity of staring into someone's souls. 😎
other times, it feels like it's magnified 🧐
I have no answer, hence trying to avoid direct eye contact and hide in plain sight 🥸
I make eye contact in two situations: 1 if I'm talking to someone who will get offended if you don't make eye contact with them and 2 if I'm facing off a bully:P.
I scored INFP since twenty years ago and this is LITERALLY ME
I definitely make eye contact.
Number 4 is so me lmao I laugh alot even at nonfunny things
Alright I spot it myself.... Jeez so accurate
The fashion sense is on point, everyday is like "Who do i want to be today? E-girl? Downtown girl? Coquette girl? Y2k girl?" or sometimes i might be overdressed or underdressed, Depending on my mood😂
The important thing is the outfit must be comfort to wear
i dont really have a problem with eye contact, well because its my strongest feature. Everything else is dead on, the fav cloth thing had me laughing
So incredibly accurate
If I make eye contact with someone while speaking, my voice will sometimes tremble, and I feel like I need to catch my breath after every word I say. But thankfully this only really happens with people I'm not close to lol. Does this happen to any other INFPs? It's so embarrassing lmao 😭
Pretty much anytime I look someone in the eyes. Plus I've become so used to listening to people's vocal cues that when I do look them in the eyes it always seems like I'm either offending them or that they're judging me. So then I look away again and everything's alright and I can read the person again.
I am an infp, all accurate af, also 4:00
This dosen’t happen often i can inly remember one time i yelled at someone angerly in thw last like 10 years.
Not true. Im flashy as hell when i leave the house. Which is never 😂
I'm infp and all of these are soooo trueeeeee
I’m an INFP-A and I rarely laugh at jokes and don’t like most comedy shows . I always look people in the eyes and am suspicious of people who don’t like my ex haha. He would always look away when meeting someone.
