This is why I love OV, their openess to describe therir product design and choices that were made in the development of a new product. Several year ago in a Q&A the topic of a rain jacket came up. Living in Seattle, this is a daily wear item a vast majority of the time. I knew when an OV jacket came out it would be one to have. So I saved my Membership credits and now a Cherry one is on order, and it was purchased well before I saw this video. The expectation is that it will live up to the high standard all of my OV gear as I am confident it will. Many thanks for listening to your customers, sharing your business model like you have, and continuing to produce high end performance gear.
Dang, just watched the video about Testing the Limits of the Fortius Tent and commented on OV making a rain jacket. Cant wait until they start producing this rain gear.
Wow. Was expecting a simple product video. But now I'm totally impressed by an indeep video about garment technology. Very very cool idea for the video-script. Makes a difference to the customer because he feels more connected to the product development and the brand itself. At least I do now. Good job.
You know I've been asking about this since the release of the Ventus. I'm pretty excited this is looking like an extremely nice piece of gear! Keep it up guys.
Will this be something members will get to pre purchase or you all just ordering in a bunch? Been looking for a new rain coat now I'm thinking I need to wait a tad longer
If you are going to use different fabrics in different zones, why make the back waterproof at all? Under a backpack that just makes a wet, clammy, mess. Why not use a highly breathable fabric on the back?
