- MOWING & TEDDING TRITICALE near Louisville Ohio
In this video I am out in the field with Royer Farms near Louisville Ohio at the mow and ted some Triticale that will later be chopped into silage. Mowing they Triticale they are using their brand new Fendt 936 tractor with Krone easy Cut Triple mowers that is cutting a 33 foot wide swath. Tedding the crop out they are using their John Deere 7210 tractor and Krone Tedder.
38,000 hours is about like putting 1,000,000 miles on your car.... That is just plain impressive. I guess it goes to show if you take care of your equipment, it will take care of you. Thanks for sharing Mike - it was great as always.
The old standard of engines hours on ag or ind. engines was 1hr. was equivalent to 50 miles! So that would make it more impressive yet.

@@hellblazer275 I would've put more miles down but people would think I was blowing smoke up their butt! LOL
Still am amazed at how fast these guy's can mow down a field. No playing around that's for sure. Thanks Mike.👍😁
Love watching triticale being cut. It's so peaceful it seems. Over time the Fendt tractors have become my favorite as well. I hit 'BINGO' with this video. Thanks.
What a Mercedes is for cars is a Fendt for tractors... awesome machines
So peaceful watching this, now I’m ready for a nap! Lol
This was satisfying to watch great cut!
Hello from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks for sharing your great video’s please keep them coming.
This is so good to watch cures my anxiety
Great awesome video mike , love cutting hay or triticale, I do it all on the farm
9:30 Mowing > tedding > raking > chopping, all in 48 hours! It´s common here in my area in western germany!
Looks like someone needs a bigger rockpicker, would be fun to see how much of that rock is above the ground.
But you have to pick your battles when you can.
Sweet set up and and a lovely crop 👍
Oh boy close to home
another great video 🖒
Hello from the UK Mike, another interesting and beautifully shot video, from above and on the ground plus plenty of information on the machinery being used, cheers 🇬🇧🏴✌️❤️
Fendt 900 series is the way to go for triple mowers. I ran Pottinger’s on a Fendt 724 which was a little sketchy on hilly terrain. I’m now running Claas on a 942 and it’s 100% the way.
Boy that thing gets the job done in a hurry. Wish I had something like that cut hay down in Virginia with my brother. Takes Mike for bring this video to us. Greg
The sky looks incredible out there
That tedder is doing an excellent job
Fends makes an incredible tractor! Really the very best tractor in the world! But you pay a premium
Krone's got some really great greenland-equiptment!

My old neighborohood
That does it! I'm gonna retire from this control systems junk here before to long and I'm gonna find me a pretty red tractor with a sleeper on back and travel around the country workin the fields. hahahaha
38000 hours, thats about 4.5 years of non stop tractor driving!!!
If it was quadrotriticale, the Klingons would be trying to poison it. :-)
They need to bring in a big excavator and remove that rock. Blast it into pieces if need be. That is one big rock!
😮😮😮😮😅😅❤😊
Should of kept the big m, but the triple mowers might be easier for them
did any track tractors have front 3pt hitch and pto ?
Is this Louisville, OH just east of Canton, OH?
Who makes or build's the diesel engine for Fendt.
✌️✌️✌️
Mike - Do you know what tires come stock on Fendt tractors? They look different. More boxy.
I'm sure there tire size is picked when the tractor is ordered.
👏👏👏🇧🇷🇨🇦👍👍
Ни фига себе! Вот чё только каппуталисты не придумают,лишь бы по меньше платить и ещё меньшему числу людей.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👀👀
I know Royers we farm in Louisville Ohio
It sounds like it is not a common practice to ted the crops in the US?
On hay it is, Not so much on triticale it seems but it all depends what area you're from.
FS2021 with drones
Why don't they trail a tedder behind their mower? Would seem to be more efficient??
That would most likely slow down the speed of the mowing and be tough for backing in the corners and turning though.
It gives the top of the crop to dry a bit first
