This is such a great video. The „prank“ is completely harmless and doesn’t hurt anyone, not like other „PrAnK YoUtUbEr“ and it really shows that the Japanese are a helpful bunch of people! Keep it up :)
ABSOLUTELY 12 years in Japan and they love to help out. I had so much help learning nihongo. My wife (okusan) obviously taught me the most. Japanese people are the nicest people on the planet
Wearing the sunglasses was a good touch. I remember Jesse had done a video like this before without the glasses and one of the guys had a feeling he spoke Japanese because of his physical features.
After the previous video in this series, Jesse got smart and put on sunglasses😎😄 Can’t wait to see you do this again and I see the channel is almost at 250k subscribers😮
Hey man. Was thinking about traveling to tokyo. You and me have the same skin tone. All i was told, theres prejudice Japanese people but as long as you speak their language, look well mannerable as a foreigner, then youll have nothihg to worry about. I think Japanese people are the most kind people in the world.
Does love how they all were so helpful. I mean they were doing everything they could to help you to out. And they were so intent on the English that when you spoke japanese, it's so native they just automatically responded and that tick tick tick tick tick until they figured it out had me dying. But fact that they were so willing to help you guys was just beautiful to see. This was adorable 😂😂
I love the people of Japan. Even if they don't know they will go out of their way to try and help. Like the group of schooldudes all pull out their phones and start crowdsourcing how to get to the store for a complete stranger from (presumably) out of town.
As a half korean indian it's so cute to see you as a half japanese and she as in Indian in the streets of Tokyo !! I myself have close friends in Japan and plan to go and know some Japanese
its crazy been watching japanese movies and anime for around 20 years and im still having a hard time with learning the language maybe i should just move to japan lol that seems like the best way to learn
I wish am young and learn foreign language. Just watching little Korean and a Chinese drama. Pick some words. Toldy son to learn Japanese, but he refuses.
for those wondering - some words are a little more respectful elderly( should be used gently as well) sometimes you can say "older" but there has to be good context to support specifics in that, - Here she might have said: The older man and woman were very nice ---or: the elderly couple- they were sooo sweet. Sometimes saying the senior couple can work but its a little clunky sounding but its polite.
Japanese people see English just as a language while Indians are still suffering from post colonial mindset ! we consider English speaking person of a higher standard rather being proud of our mother tongue. we should be proud of Hindi,Tamil,Telugu, Panjabi,Gujarati, Manipuri, malayalm, etc etc, It's so sad, when will Indians come out of that British slavery mindset 🤕😞😓😥
I learned about Japanese from anime, but I think I really wanted to learn the language after seeing all of the Japanese travel videos. After that I spent like 10 years learning Japanese.

They were literally like "Wait! Did you just speak Japnese?!"
Wearing the sunglasses was a good touch. I remember Jesse had done a video like this before without the glasses and one of the guys had a feeling he spoke Japanese because of his physical features.
THAT OLD LADY AT 3:09 IS SO PURE
That was fun, I think the foreign studies couple went like "Oh yes! Time to practice our English!" 😅
After the previous video in this series, Jesse got smart and put on sunglasses😎😄 Can’t wait to see you do this again and I see the channel is almost at 250k subscribers😮

Is this sarcasm ?
学生に卒業後の進路を尋ねるビデオを作ってもらえますか?

A melhor parte é o povo descobrindo que eles falam japonês 😂😂😂

東京外大は語学力やばい
Yurrr
@AerisJapan He is half black and half japanese, yes! Therefore this encounter should only be half shocking!!
But you two aren't foreigners.
please someone educate me... when a person bows their head is it to say thank you, sorry, or out of mutual respect???
All three of those. Also hello, goodbye, general acknowledgment, various ceremonial bows.
should do a "huh? we were speaking japanese the whole time" gaslight and see how they react
Nihongo is my FAVORITE
Nice
I wish am young and learn foreign language. Just watching little Korean and a Chinese drama. Pick some words. Toldy son to learn Japanese, but he refuses.
I love these foreigner speaking Japanese videos
Except he’s Japanese
“Woah, you look sus” lmao
He's not technically a foreigner hes half Japanese and grew up speaking the language so can speak it very well
Sunglasses , huh? So they doesn't say that you have japanese face 😂 good strategy
Good idea to wear shades because you look 100% Japanese without them.
That be shocking other countries I’m learning another language so trash talkers don’t think the can talk in another language
Jesse is mixed, so of course he can speak fluent Japanese, but still both have an accent, especially the Hindu girl
I feel sorry for the man going to Temple University north Philadelphia is one of the worst places in America
Amazing 👍👍🇮🇩
A legendary collab
LOL "Anaya" very cordial and polite must have forgotten that in English it's a bit rude to refer to people as: the old man, the old woman. 😅🙃😅
for those wondering - some words are a little more respectful elderly( should be used gently as well) sometimes you can say "older" but there has to be good context to support specifics in that, - Here she might have said: The older man and woman were very nice ---or: the elderly couple- they were sooo sweet. You have to make a part 2

I learned about Japanese from anime, but I think I really wanted to learn the language after seeing all of the Japanese travel videos. After that I spent like 10 years learning Japanese.
