Thank you for this. Recent revert and trying to change my entire wardrobe and add pieces is tough on the budget. But not giving up. Had moments when I questioned, "Can i do this?" but I'm trying to hold on to my deen and keep pushing forward.
My pleasure! Welcome to Islam sister. May be hard in the beginning, but you'll get there sooner than you think trust me. I'm married to a revert and I've seen the fastest progress in my husband and its not different with other reverts. Give yourself time and try to surround yourself with other Muslims as much as you can in person or online. May Allah bless you 🌹
I was asking God for guidance about modesty as a Catholic, and this video popped up. Thank you for posting! I’m also looking into Islam as a whole, so I can better understand.

I would love to start wearing modest dresses in neutral colors, like grey and blush pink, and a headcovering myself. Not sure what’s holding me back though. I don’t like drawing attention to myself, and I like being feminine (as I am a woman!) never been one for the spotlight.
@Contrary_Mary Not only dressing modestly is more comfortable and feminine but also it's very elegant. I always like to observe the royals around the world and the common point is always the modesty in the way that they dress. There is never mini skirts, nails, extreme makeup and there is almost always some sort of head coverage through hats. We as Muslim women do it through hijab but you get the point. Just start somewhere and as you do it more the journey will only get better 💐
@@NadiaValary you’re absolutely right. There is a certain level of self respect Muslim women have, that I wish I had. I dress modestly even for a Christian/Catholic, I wear long sleeves and loose jeans, and usually veil at mass. But there’s just something lacking in my religion that makes me feel empty. Not sure what it is though. 💕
You'd be surprised if you'd seen the similarities between Islam and Christianity. Islam is the monotheistic religion that has so much depth into it yet a religion that is very easy to understand and simple to apply to everyday life. I'd highly recommend looking more into it. I pray God who created us all guides you further dear sister. Thank you so much for your comments 🌹
