Very admirable! This setup is quiet, light and not power hungry. Perfect for the home shop in the city. I have looked everywhere online to purchase a similar unit but to no avail. The only equipment I have found which comes close is a Carlson sc-1. However these units are manually driven. If you know of any suppliers the info would be greatly appreciated. Love your videos.!!
Get a chinese mini lathe on ebay ,disconnect the electrics, put a D.I.Y. handle on the chuck spindle and bob's your uncle .

It was enjoyable seeing all your videos about springs, it's not my expertise area (software guy) but they say: you'll never go to bed without learning something new. Can you make a video or explain what is the stress relief process with the oven? what is the purpose of this? I'm just curious
Ok , any time you bend or deform spring wire from its original straightness or helix the material becomes stressed and wants to return to it's original form. So after forming it needs to be heat stress relieved to operate correctly and stay in its new shape. For diy purposes this can be somewhat achieved in a household oven at 260 celcius for 2 hours..then natural air cool only..note , do not fast cool with water.. regards.

Yes , you need to get some music spring wire ( high toughness wire ) also after you make spring to size , remember to stress relieve in oven at 300 celcius to stress relieve for 1 hour , if you do not do this it will be weak and not work correctly.
