Just wanna make it clear that you can ask Steelseries for replacement grips if they break or slide off you do not have to buy new ones. You don't even have to have a warrant in most cases just contact them and ask for replacement grips because yours are sliding off.
It came from the glue, same issue happened to mine. Since i move my finger on the rubber a lot the glue got less stickier and I somehow ripped the rubber apart. I hate the right side panel due to the cheap glue they used.
I bought a Glorious Model O It's supposed to arrive this Tuesday. I wanted to buy a grip replacement because the support wouldn't replace them for free as they've done with my Rival 310. My Rival 300 has a lot of problems too. Not to mention my old Steelseries headset which broke after 2 weeks. Thanks for saving me from spending money! I'll never buy anything from Steelseries again.
That's unfortunate, my Rival 300 Fade is still working fine, but the mouse has updated side grips that fixed the "melted" issue of the original 300. The Rival 600's grips seem to be ignored by SS as no one raises their voice against them.
Hey, good video! Experienced the same issue yesterday. The whole rubbergrip on the right side came off. Quickly got in contact with the customer support. They asked no questions and immedeately sent me a coupon to order the sidepanels for free. I guess you should've done that as well :)
having this issue atm the rubber grips are coming off and all sticky on your fingers, not even that old i think its a great mouse just the rubber grips don't stay on bit disappointed because here is AUS its a $200 mouse
5-6 months in and the farthest right grip is sliding about and my scrollwheel LED shines orange instead of white, this is the worst mouse i've probably ever purchased, sliding sides are a 3+ year old issue and not once have they tried to fix it, what a garbage company honestly
2+ after your comment... No, they haven't. Still happens today. And the replacements parts they're selling have no improvements to make durability better.
@@PokerFaZe For some reason it hasn't ever happened to mine, maybe humidity, and no its not condensation, it doesn't have an inner barrier in which temperatures on each side are trying to match, its ultimately impossible for it too be condensation.
@@PokerFaZe yepI bought it 2nd hand and the person had it in storage for 6 months and was "as new" tho if it does happen, I will 3d print them without any rubber sides.
Of course that person needed to clean the mouse before giving to you, would you take the mouse that looks like what I showed in the video? I had to clean mine before selling, just common sense
Marios yessir, i don’t go out of my way to clean it or make sure my hands are clean but it’s still perfect just from regular use, i’m also not abusing it so idk if i just got lucky or what but good luck man!

Good to know that they at least have decent customer support.
@@Enderplays12 they didnt send me a coupon cause they dont have customer service in my country. they said that i have to contact with my distrubutor
That happened to my old rival 650 when I put it away for a while! The glue melted and the sides were gross
That's gamer grease :))
Yea I got a Rival 600 right now. it was fine for about 4 months but now he glues melting off the rubber side grips :/

I have had my rival 310 for under a month and the right grip has already started peeling off. Should i just get a refund and buy a new one?
Just get a new grip
Icy_kelvin
Icyy_kelvin
i buy new side grip but 3-4 months later looks same :(
Yeah, cleaning it with alcohol may get rid of the sticky residue
How much do you use them a day-week?
I see those deck boxes 👀 new subscriber inbound :)
Haha, I am big fan of Yugi boi
my left click started to get loose and wobbly... anyone else?
You might should clean them with alcohol before storing them.

Too late
Oof
Anyone know if they have fixed this issue yet?

@Gaz B 007 I used some strong glue on mine and that kind of fixed it for now
@@quinten3884 That's exactly my next move. I've been through 4 sets of these things in 3 years. There's no way I'm buying anymore.
this just happen to my rival 600 fk
Do a review for hyperglides
Lol they didnt melt! why did you think it melted?!
Then what do you call it, condensation?
@@PokerFaZe For some reason it hasn't ever happened to mine, maybe humidity, and no its not condensation, it doesn't have an inner barrier in which temperatures on each side are trying to match, its ultimately impossible for it too be condensation.
I was sarcastic, lol. It is melted. Stop using your mouse for 3 months and come back

had my rival 600 for about a year and everything works like it’s still brandnew
For real? Mines coming tomorrow but I keep seeing people complain about the grips and its worrying me

Restrict its about what tempature your room is
Abel Uli the room my pc is in gets super hot so idk
Restrict hm, guess it just has to do with people who play 24/7 which makes sense
*took les than tree days*
What about your clicks have they started to fck up yet??
Nah, click was fine
A support ticket would of cost you 0 money. They would of sent you new ones for free.
