The people that choose to hang around year after year seeing bobby was destroying the game, and just exploiting the community... those devs, those current devs aren't people we should really sympathize with. The decent people that had morals and sense either got fired or just couldn't take it and left. One of my mates recently sent me a clip of him "popping off" on MW3, going on a 5 killstreak...a couple throwing knife kills etc. It was clean, but i thought to myself, "Do you even know how broken matchmaking is in this game?". I miss the player count number on the menu. The highest I seen Bo2 was a bit over 350k I believe in early 2013, Ghosts had 500k on release on 360. Crazy how they spew this bullshit every year being positive about the game to investors and actually believe it, yet are scared to show the numbers themselves. I tried playing Resurgence Duos today at noon with a friend. It is a Tuesday. Sure, it's a slow day and time for peak players, but guess what? We couldn't get a lobby. We sat there for oh, 25 minutes, turned ON crossplay, waited another 20, then while in party chat, we got up and made food and did some basic things around the house for 30 more minutes as it became a funny joke by that point. 1 hour. No matches. Yeah Resurgence on Ashika and Vondel sucks (I hate it, but my friend doesn't so whatever) and duos isn't usually popular... but NOTHING? Wow. 😂 Player count is next to nothing and spread too thin.
I'm gonna say this here because I don't know where else to say it, and hope someone sees it. I tried reverse boosting. My lobbies were just impossible to play in, so I stopped trying and just began reverse boosting. One thing I noticed was that after played 3 matches without doing anything but hip-fire, walk around and throw a grenade or two at nothing, getting kills became easier. People with the latest metas, the "best skins" and who were moving like they had a seizure, were getting killed by my hip-fired Striker 9. I wasn't aiming. I wasn't moving almost at all. Half the time they weren't even close to my crosshair. Yet I got a bunch of kills and even more assists. I was able to level up my "9 more in one of those matches playing like an idiot then in three matches where I was trying to compete. I was still getting cheaters and sweats with the latest bundles and crap, but I was doing better. By playing like I didn't have goddamn thumbs.
Yeah, I knew Bobby Kotick was a big problem for COD but I don't think that, him, disappearing will somehow, magically make Call of Duty better. The writers, the programmers, the art designers ect all have their fair share of responsibilities, I find it easy that now that Microsoft will take control of Activision they all start to do the blame game, blaming everything on their ex boss as if they were all innocents.
Yeah, they are all going to shift the blame where they can. But if their games continue to suck, Phil will make changes. He wants to sell the games, not let their numbers (sales, not microtransactions) continue to decline. More players equates to more people buying microtransactions. I wouldnt think that there will be drastic changes to the games overall, but the biggest complaint with the games is likely to be solved. Last night Me & my daughter was playing COD and was doing decently well in domination, next thing you know we started getting other players popping off not taking flags and even the match’s out then leave before the match was over. It was the stupidest thing I ever seen who would do that? We were playing on the ps5 and are not pro players but not horrible, it was very noticeable though what was happening. Wish I had a answer on just why 🤷♂️

There’s never been a COD I’ve played in all these years where I feel more manipulated and targeted than in this current title, it sucks too because from a gameplay perspective MWIII is fun but the inner workings need a redo badly, that and COD needs some healthy competition. Yeah there’s Fortnite and Apex but that’s for BR, I mean like a straight up FPS. Right now we’ve got The Finals and soon we’ll get XDefiant I just hope they stand the test of time, something needs to make COD get its act together.

There's big issues in the gaming industry with game devs being abused by the people on top and they have no power to stop it. These companies are making billions a year and they treat the devs like slaves making them work for weeks during "crunch" just to fire them weeks after the game is out so they can cut costs. I hope these workers can form a union and fight back because it's the same shit we were seeing in the movie industry. These companies don't care about the consumer, they don't care about the games, and the only time they care about the workers is when one of the higher ups wants to "R-Word" one of the employees and they want to sweep it under the rug.
Devs can leave and form their own indie game studios. We have seen it happen over and over. If they make good games, they can form the company of their dreams. How many CoD dev teams can pull that off? 1, and they call themselves Respawn Entertainment.

For a union etc to work, people have to stand together. It is frequently a very long fight that takes a large toll on the union reps and the people they represent.
The only thing that keeps me playing currently is zombies, but even that gets difficult since I basically did everything gameplay-wise. I really like the mode, but it doesn't have enough content to keep me interested for a long time
I am very happy that I have not played a new CoD game since BO4. And your videos along with Nero, Ace, and occasionally Thunder's videos have stayed that course too. Can't wait to see what xDefiant brings. That's my future CoD for all I'm concerned. For now just playing Transformers WFC, Halo Reach (Team Snipers and Team Slayer. 👌) and one of my childhood games Sly 2 thanks to PC emulation.

I suspected this for over half a decade that this franchise was rigged to death. These patents and algorithms have been under development for a lot longer than people suspect(mw2019). It used to help people with worse connections over people with better connections. Causes all kinds of 1 hit kills(magic bullets), dying around corners, hit detection problems. On top of this you had a perk called stalker which made you move at lightspeed while ADS. Was a nightmare
its taking so long to talk about the matchmaking cause its so manipulated that they are trying to come up with a way to talk about it without incriminating themselves and they know if they tell the truth it will finally run off the tiny playerbase that's left.

In order for players to buy the pay to win skins etc people have to buy the games. I haven't bought COD for 4 years now... If people aren't buying the game they aren't buying the over priced skins and paying into the other money making schemes... I said it 4 years ago and I'll say it now. I ain't buying another COD until all this bad business practice goes away. The SBMM, The EOMM, The over priced Skins, etc... get back to what used to make COD the experience it used to be. Good gameplay, server connection, good maps, keeping lobbies going / building friendships.... Bring that back. Then I'll buy the game again.
I personally think that A.I is being tested in games. What better place to test the learning abilities of A.I than in a multiplayer game full of real players? They probably even get paid by companies to test their A.I. I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all, but that seems perfectly plausable to me. I even thought that up myself.

Same thing goes for politics on the local, state, and national level. I remember back when Black Ops 1 was coming out I worked for an Activision distribution center in Fresno CA. We were packing both standard and Prestige Editions that came with the RCXD Rc cars. There was some managers overseeing a specific order of I think like 20+ Prestige Editions. They packed the order themselves and only allowed the boxes that were flawless on the pallet. Even the slightest crease and it was refused. Well anyway the order was kept separate, nobody was allowed near it. Turns out it was for Bobby and his friends. I guess it was being sent to a launch party for the game. Bobby and other executives were all getting a free Prestige Edition lol.
There's not much to say about this game, whoever cheats better wins. I see pad players with aim assist and macros, even pc players, people who cheat, get banned and after five minutes they make another account, and continue playing. Streamers who post photos to prove that they didn't use cheats, and have Cronus under the monitor... This game is completely corrupt. Last COD that I will play and purchase. Micro transitions everywhere, Activision only thinks about those, I'm still waiting for the statement regarding the SBMM and EOMM. Shitty game, and anyone who says otherwise is a mindless fanboy.

I'm gonna say this here because I don't know where else to say it, and hope someone sees it.
I tried reverse boosting. My lobbies were just impossible to play in, so I stopped trying and just began reverse boosting. One thing I noticed was that after played 3 matches without doing anything but hip-fire, walk around and throw a grenade or two at nothing, getting kills became easier. People with the latest metas, the "best skins" and who were moving like they had a seizure, were getting killed by my hip-fired Striker 9. I wasn't aiming. I wasn't moving almost at all. Half the time they weren't even close to my crosshair. Yet I got a bunch of kills and even more assists. I was able to level up my "9 more in one of those matches playing like an idiot then in three matches where I was trying to compete. I was still getting cheaters and sweats with the latest bundles and crap, but I was doing better. By playing like I didn't have goddamn thumbs.

Yeah, I knew Bobby Kotick was a big problem for COD but I don't think that, him, disappearing will somehow, magically make Call of Duty better.
The writers, the programmers, the art designers ect all have their fair share of responsibilities, I find it easy that now that Microsoft will take control of Activision they all start to do the blame game, blaming everything on their ex boss as if they were all innocents.
Yeah, they are all going to shift the blame where they can. But if their games continue to suck, Phil will make changes. He wants to sell the games, not let their numbers (sales, not microtransactions) continue to decline.
More players equates to more people buying microtransactions. Bobby was milking a company he wasnt going to be running. Phil will need growth.

The game sales n makes millions per year no matter what, what they've been doing works and I don't see them changing anything. The game will soon be developed with gamepass in mind, which needs player retention more than anything, the game is already designed that way, in my mind it either stays the same or becomes even more grindy, it happened to the latest Forza
@@southernfriedbully The current EOMM/SBMM is not retaining players like CoD did in the past. I wouldnt think that there will be drastic changes to the games overall, but the biggest complaint with the games is likely to be solved.
Or they may keep it in the game for ranked, and run a casual mode either without it or a very mild version.

Last night Me & my daughter was playing COD and was doing decently well in domination, next thing you know we started getting other players popping off not taking flags and even the match’s out then leave before the match was over. It was the stupidest thing I ever seen who would do that? We were playing on the ps5 and are not pro players but not horrible, it was very noticeable though what was happening. Wish I had a answer on just why 🤷♂️

I hope everything comes to light in regards to this whole SBMM/EOMM situation. I’m sure there’s more going on behind the scenes than what’s known surface level. There’s never been a COD I’ve played in all these years where I feel more manipulated and targeted than in this current title, it sucks too because from a gameplay perspective MWIII is fun but the inner workings need a redo badly, that and COD needs some healthy competition. Yeah there’s Fortnite and Apex but that’s for BR, I mean like a straight up FPS. Right now we’ve got The Finals and soon we’ll get XDefiant I just hope they stand the test of time, something needs to make COD get its act together.

The FPS genre is in sad state. Ubisoft really could step up to the plate and deliver Xdefiant, but I think that project is abandoned since they canceled their release date.

There's big issues in the gaming industry with game devs being abused by the people on top and they have no power to stop it. These companies are making billions a year and they treat the devs like slaves making them work for weeks during "crunch" just to fire them weeks after the game is out so they can cut costs. I hope these workers can form a union and fight back because it's the same shit we were seeing in the movie industry. These companies don't care about the consumer, they don't care about the games, and the only time they care about the workers is when one of the higher ups wants to "R-Word" one of the employees and they want to sweep it under the rug.
Devs can leave and form their own indie game studios. We have seen it happen over and over.
If they make good games, they can form the company of their dreams.
How many CoD dev teams can pull that off? 1, and they call themselves Respawn Entertainment.

The only thing that keeps me playing currently is zombies, but even that gets difficult since I basically did everything gameplay-wise. I really like the mode, but it doesn't have enough content to keep me interested for a long time
I am very happy that I have not played a new CoD game since BO4. And your videos along with Nero, Ace, and occasionally Thunder's videos have stayed that course too.
Can't wait to see what xDefiant brings. That's my future CoD for all I'm concerned. For now just playing Transformers WFC, Halo Reach (Team Snipers and Team Slayer. 👌) and one of my childhood games Sly 2 thanks to PC emulation.

Seeing everybody only just discovering that this game manipulates every single thing possible including mid game nerfs is like music to my ears. I suspected this for over half a decade that this franchise was rigged to death. These patents and algorithms have been under development for a lot longer than people suspect(mw2019). @@user03104 lag comp was introduced in MW3. When u think about it, it’s basically manipulating the gameplay like today’s algorithms do. It used to help people with worse connections over people with better connections. Causes all kinds of 1 hit kills(magic bullets), dying around corners, hit detection problems. On top of this you had a perk called stalker which made you move at lightspeed while ADS. Was a nightmare

In order for players to buy the pay to win skins etc people have to buy the games. I haven't bought COD for 4 years now... If people aren't buying the game they aren't buying the over priced skins and paying into the other money making schemes...

The SBMM, The EOMM, The over priced Skins, etc... get back to what used to make COD the experience it used to be. Good gameplay, server connection, good maps, keeping lobbies going / building friendships.... Bring that back. Then I'll buy the game again.

I personally think that A.I is being tested in games. What better place to test the learning abilities of A.I than in a multiplayer game full of real players? They probably even get paid by companies to test their A.I. I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all, but that seems perfectly plausable to me. I even thought that up myself.

I remember back when Black Ops 1 was coming out I worked for an Activision distribution center in Fresno CA. We were packing both standard and Prestige Editions that came with the RCXD Rc cars. There was some managers overseeing a specific order of I think like 20+ Prestige Editions. They packed the order themselves and only allowed the boxes that were flawless on the pallet. Even the slightest crease and it was refused. Well anyway the order was kept separate, nobody was allowed near it. Turns out it was for Bobby and his friends. I guess it was being sent to a launch party for the game. Bobby and other executives were all getting a free Prestige Edition lol.
I hate the game. Had to delete it.

There's not much to say about this game, whoever cheats better wins. I see pad players with aim assist and macros, even pc players, people who cheat, get banned and after five minutes they make another account, and continue playing. Streamers who post photos to prove that they didn't use cheats, and have Cronus under the monitor... This game is completely corrupt. Last COD that I will play and purchase. Micro transitions everywhere, Activision only thinks about those, I'm still waiting for the statement regarding the SBMM and EOMM. Shitty game, and anyone who says otherwise is a mindless fanboy.
Its better than the last game but like captain price said its not hard to improve on garbage.
