I have been a Howard listener since 1996 (WBCN Boston). Gilbert was, hands down, consistently, the absolute greatest Stern show guest of all-time, for years. So many amazing show moments. He was the funniest, man. When Howard had to bleep Gilbert, on satalite!, for that Bindi Irwin joke!!!! Oh, my God. Hilarious, and absolutely insane.
This channel has saved my stupid life. For years and years you came through with some of the best clips. You and the guy who posts all of Patrice ONeal’s O and A clips are the reason I have RUclips. Thanks again. RIP King Gilbert.

Do you have any of the 90s shows when Howard explains in great detail about Gilbert’s time in the hospital? That’s one of my favorite Gilbert segments. Howard giving the inside stuff about buying Gilbert slippers and Gilbert’s family. So hilarious.

There's a clip of him taking the top of a muffin/cupcake and spitting in it and putting it back with the other muffins. It might of been a factor? Just hide the cupcakes when he was a guest. Mostly, Stern was trying to be more like Charlie Rose or the genius, Conan. Instead, he has become Don Imus.
