Therefore, it's possible that the Chinese patient really was named Zhu (朱). There are over 18 Million of them in mainland China alone! Yeah except they still eat meat. Lamb and beef are eaten, with the later giving just as nasty mad cow disease. This really only doesn't apply to vegans, but they need supplements to not have vitamin deficiency.
It should be easier to access, or at the very least when necessary or a choice between life and death, not free. Doctors need to get paid somehow, cause if not, no one would want to be a doctor because they wouldn't get paid. Maybe we'd have volunteers left and there, but I doubt a surgeon would sit there for 9 hours straight performing a stressful operation just to get compensated with a few grateful smiles. Yes, it's a great feeling, but it won't pay the bills or feed his or her family.
Well healthcare in Germany is free, we only have to pay for medication that you don't need to keep keep yourself alive. Everything else is payed by the "Krankenkasse" but I also think that everyone pays here a health care bill if you are financially able. (Psychologist are also free)
So, in Germany there is a dish called "Mettbrötchen". It's raw pork meat on a bun and usually has onions on it. The only reason you can consume it without any negative health effects is because the german food regulations are incredibly strict and "Mett" is a always prepared fresh. Also you should consume on the same day you bought it (or cook it). For foreigner it often sounds disturbing and they are scared, but I definitely recommend to try it once, if you come to Germany, because you'll most likely never taste anything like that in any other country.
@John Smith I don't get that with the Asians but if u come to Brunswick I can be ur personal or ur familys patron and show u around a little. And I can't recommend Mettbrötchen enough. It is one of my favorite meet dishes.

Fun fact: you can get Taenia solium even if you don't eat pork. You can ingest the eggs from food that was handled by someone who is infected by the tape worm and they don't properly wash they're hands after going number two.
Delusion parasitosis: iirc, it’s a social response, since if Craig your neighbor got this bug, you might have it too, so your brain decides to play it safe by having you basically try and speed up looking for that... trouble.

Just got out of the hospital. Here in the US got a worm my brain 🧠. I had 1 seizure then I went to the hospital and got another in the middle of explaining it to the doctors. MRI confirmed I had a pork parasite 🦠 in my brain. They gave me medicine and watched me for a few days and I just got discharged today after 4 days in the hospital. I felt fine after they gave me steroids I only felt loopy with the anti anxiety medicine that doubles as anti seizure medicine. Thank god I’m home with my wife and kids. Don’t eat raw pork kiddos. Probably got it when I went to Mexico. Doctor said it could of been in me for years, like 7-10 years. I just realized while watching this video how rare it is. Something that I keep thinking about how little warning I had. No headache, only 2 seizures 1 hour apart.
As soon as I saw that tapeworm I closed my eyes and just listened to the rest of the episode
I should have heeded the warning
Yeeeeuuck🤮

Germans be like: we dont care give me my mett
theyre smart, why would they lol
Because of that, any animal butchered in Germany has to be individually checked by a veterinarian, for tapeworm, trichinosis and so on. I don't know if other countries have that strict guidelines, but I've been eating raw pork aka "Mett" for most part of my life. Never been ill from that. Don't forget the chopped onions!
@@walkover-cc1dm Our food standards especially when it comes down to meat are much higher than anywhere else in the world. We eat it right after it is butchered and chopped. I wouldn't recommend to eat raw pork outside of Germany that could be very dangoures.
@@waynebimmel6784
Actually it got an EU regulation (2019/627 in the latest form) so you could get Mett in other EU countries too. But because it is an uncommon practise eating raw pork, you won't get it.
But I would feel unsafe too, if I had Mett in Italy or Spain.
