Adriano, how to buy the used car in Italy? Next week, monday I go in Bologna to buy and collect Fiat 500L 1975. which I won on ebay. Where do I go with the seller, to Italian Autoclub ICA and sign the contract or to notary public office to verify the contract between seller and me? How many copies contracts has to be in Italy, 3 or more or less? One for me, one for seller, one for ACI or notary Office? And how much money would cost this transfer of ownership administration? The car is not drivable and is disassambled without axles and wheels and rusty and is going on truck to Croatia on restauration. Thank you.
Hey there! You can go to an ACI shop, to the PRA offices, or to any agency that does this (usually the driving license schools). They will just issue a new ownership title for the car right on the spot! For classic cars it's discounted, can vary depending on which place you go, but should be around 120 euros. If you are exporting the car you could also just give the plates back and get an export title tho. Let me know how it goes, and keep me updated on the restoration!

Great one! :-D That car is barely good for parts... And you have to be careful with LPG systems, since they should have the documents that prove it's in conformity with the law.
Ahahah that happens all the time in Portugal... Go to the MOT, hand over 50 euros to the engineer and they will ignore a problem even if the car has a hole on the floor.

The buyer and seller should go together, even tho in the past some sketchy offices would do it with just the buyer and the seller's signature.

It's funny that the car has all the documents, including MOT, even tho it isn't safe at all!
