- Next video of my new series. I'll be showing older versions of heroes, that are currently in DotA/DOTA 2. It's a lot of version to cover, so i might miss something in future. I want to focus on big things (Old not-existing spells on hero or just same spells with different effects).
In this video, i covered Old Invoker and his 27 spells.

A Note on what you said about betrayal spell. While players might not have attacked their hero who you target if you use it when aoe's or cleave is going down and he might just die if they try to attack your team. Also it prevents spells that can only target allies from saving that hero and prevents them from taking tower cover. I think it's a sick spell I'd love to see a new hero base on that spell

yeah true, I mainly forget because i play dota 2 and I didn't play dota 1 during the time frostwyrm was out.
IDEA.... USE PORTAL RIGHT BEFORE EITHER WISP OR CHEN TELEPORTS YOU BACK TO BASE AND THEN ENEMY WILL BE TELEPORTED TO INVOKERS LOCATION WHICH IS IN THE BASE......... will it work?

You said combination towards the beginning of the video. A good way to describe what old invoker was, is to tell people that he used permutations to cast spells rather than combinations.

It isn't called combination, it's permutation.
Maybe it is a combination of the two?
Imagine if they added Filomena from the Dota cartoon to the game, and gave her 10 of Invoker's old spells.
If you're talking about implementing them into the game, Icefrog made both this version as well as the remake.
New Invoker is actually cooler. Still somewhat difficult to play, but not too ridiculous like he was with the insane amount of spells. Most of them were copies of other hero spells anyways.
I think Betrayal could be used to prevent the enemy team from spamming AoEs or auto-targeting spells or at least punish them for it. Given how the current metagame is so teamfight-centric, I think it could really slow things down or cause a lot of accidental damage. Imagine if you cast it on the enemy carry and the carry gets disabled by Ravage or killed by Firefly, QoP nukes, Omnislash, Tinker missile, Echo Slam, eclipse, and so on. Could be a very clutch skill.

I reckon that a combo of The Old and New Invoker could work. Have the 27 spells, but allow Kael to have five spells at once. In fact, in order to be lore friendly, you could allow him to have more spells, but just make him extremely fragile. Like an Ultra Glass Death Star.
I don't know how I ended up here but on your comment regarding Betrayal. They might not attack him, but he'll be hit by AOE spells if they're blowing ults and such. Can help you turn a wombo combo back around on the enemy team.

Also, betrayal would put their allies in a difficult situation as probably aoe abilities would hurt the target too, probably killing him, not just auto attack or point target skill.
If you understood how the unit AI works in WC3, you'd realize that it's arguably the best spell there.
"Mute" means that items, as well as abilities, are silenced.

Hhoho, imagine invoker 52135 spells and all that scripts... They can add even that number +1 but i hope dota will finally get offical macro support, so 95% scripts will be useless and game equal for all.

the really problem with this kael is,that he can just have 1 spell at once,it must be 3 and a lower invoke cooldown to make him playable
with enough buffs to quas passive, he could be playable even if invoke cost 1000 gold to switch the spell
add an option to have two players play invoker at the same time, each with 13 spells

In Dota 1 Invoker hase 27 spells and quas = damage exort = mana or health regen
In Dota 2 Invoker has 10 spells only and quas = health regen exort = damage

Look at the top right -- This is in 6.67b, just using -fun mode to get old invoker. Also, old invoker wasn't labeled "old invoker".

quas gives extra damage? in dota2 quas is health regen and exort gives the extra damage.

this is not the real 6.67b version , becuz invoker had the same skills since 6.60 or older versions. this map is called 6.67b FUN. Heroes in this map has insane and different type of skills . First time i played invoker was 6.60 version and he has the same skills , if u dont want to believe me , here's a video of a guy playing invoker on 6.60 version , look at him using EMP,Tornado. etc with the same effects as present dota

Does betrayal skill work on towers? If yes then its propably to make enemy die if he will try to hide under tower to be safe.
