This beginner class is made to be as accessible as possible: I bring you 9 (yes, NINE!) different winter designs on circles! You can use a cookie cutter, but you could also just use a water glass to cut them out!
This set was made with at-home beginner cookiers in mind, so it uses ONE consistency, ONE shape (a circle!!) and 4 colors. Yes, you heard that right! Now that's my kind of beginner class! Fewer consistencies and colors = less time spent prepping. One shape (that's a circle) and = less money spent on supplies.

I completed this class last night and loved it. I am curious about Phase 1 Icing where we make the icing to stiff or medium peak and then color (in separate bowls). Your instructions say we can do this step up to 2 days before. I'm wondering if we can do Phase 1 and put it in the refrigerator for 3-4 days before going to Phase 2.
yes, you can! but putting it in the fridge will thin the icing slightly. so you definitely don't want to thin the icing at all before storing it in the fridge. also keep in mind the icing will continue to darken over time. 3-4 days is a long time for colors to darken/develop. so if you need to start prep that far in advance I'd just make the fresh icing and store it in the fridge uncolored. then wait to color it the day/night before and leave the icing on the counter in an airtight container

This is too much work. And I never think the icing makes the cookie taste better. Pretty, though.

Here is a tip, after you bake the cookies and remove them from the oven, cut them again to ensure perfect circles.
Or a bunch of crushed cookies
@@kaitlinski493 I'm serious. I have to do it with my square cookies every time and I also thought it would crush them. It doesn't, just do it right away when they come out of the oven.
