In this video, I explain why I decided to go out with my DJI Osmo Action 3 to to take some still photos around the beautiful town where I live (Gijon in the north of Spain) .
Full details of what I did, what went wrong and what my thoughts and opinions are of using the amazing DJI Osmo Action 3 as a stills camera.

Thanks :) I wanted to attach an action cam to the handlebars of my bicycle to be able to take photos quickly and easily. But seems like this is not working :o
Hi @peterrandal8914 many thanks for your comment. The Osmo Action 3 can take reasonably good 12MP photos. You will need to use the dewarp setting to correct the lens distortion. As the lens is such a wide angle, you will need to reframe the photos by cropping in and that will reduce the size and therefore the quality of the photos when viewed but give it a try anyway as experimenting is always fun. You could have just used the dewarp option and crop to the dimensions you want with photoshop so you dont have to used the digital zoom or use photoshop to dewarp the pics you took and crop them to the size you want......

@@photechvideo sir you’re really kind but please remember us all when your channel blows up one day today you may have less subs but you got the best quality content on yt for dji osmo action 3 plus also could you upload a video for shooting in various modes on dji and edtitng them also what app would you recommend to edit the videos??
Hi @karansran7 many thanks for your comments and for your kind words! Of course I will never forget my subscribers as you are ultimately the people who I make my channel content for. I use Davinci Resolve for all my video editing but there are much simpler programs which you can use. It really depends on what you need your finished project for.

Thought I was watching the 9 hour version of the English Patient there for a minute.
I welcome all comments on my videos. This particular video is 14 minutes and 10 seconds of my true opinion and examples of how the Osmo Action 3 holds up in the photography department. If it were shorter then it would not contain all of my true opinion and therefore I would be shortchanging the viewers and doing them an injustice.
