Volunteers’ Week 2024- Christian Freer, Harrogate Sea Cadets

This #volunteersweek we’re giving a shout out to those who give so much of their time to the cadet programmes. Our cadet force adult volunteers are the beating heart of Yorkshire’s cadet forces.
They teach, guide and lead by example; ensuring that the cadet experience where young people can develop confidence, have adventures, learn and make lasting a friendships.
Meet Christian Freer from Harrogate Sea Cadets. Christian served in the Royal Navy and now gives back to his local community as a sea cadet leader for his unit. Christian chats with us about the skills taught, qualifications gained and the confidence developed on the sea cadet programme.
