- Did I just make an another Outer Banks video? Yes. Yes I did. It's probably not much of a surprise the this happens to be my favorite character. I have always found myself drawn to complex and slightly flawed charact (just look at some of the characters I've videos for lol) but, I think JJ somehow got bumped up to the top of my list. Anyways, as much as I could ramble on about how much I love JJ, I'll cut myself off here. For this video I really wanted to show the relationship between him and his dad and how it affected him (Hopefully I did a good job showing that). Anyways as always, hope you guys like the video!

This is so sad. He is honestly the best character and no one can tell me otherwise. He has the hardest life out of all of the pogues and he still takes care of them and loves them even when he cant take care of himself. His smile lights up the whole room. I love this man so much and it breaks my heart to see him like this. We need to protect this man at all costs he is too precious. Please writers keep him happy in season 2 thats all i ask. 💔🥺

I feel like JJ has a limit and everything with his dad just built up and up and up and he couldnt take it so be broke down to the real JJ and not this shield over him of he has to be the funny and happy one. 💕

JJ is the most misunderstood character, and I love him so much🥺 he always did and sacrificed stuff for his friends. His friends were is family, and John B said he was his best friend but he wasn’t there when JJ needed him. Also, this edit is SO good, the best JJ one out there.

I just realized that now JJ knows what John B. felt, when JB said that be didnt know what it felt like to have the person closest to you disappear and not know what happened to them... because JB is family, a brother to JJ. and now jj doesnt know if john b. is alive or not

JJ is an underestimated character, he really hits a soft spot; beautiful and broken, always dancing on the verge of violence, amused by his inevitable perdition... The actor doing his father is really good too, I love the dramatic scenes with both of them. Great combo.

I recently just started watching outer banks because my friend recommended it to me, and since I’ve been watching it I’ve grown to love jj, he’s so misunderstood. People have to understand everything he had been through, his dad is a drug attic and abusive. He doesn’t have his mom. He scarifies so much for his friends and would do anything for him. His friends are the only thing he has left. At the end of episode 10 he thinks his best friend he known since the 3rd grade is dead, that he’ll never see him again. People have to understand how much jj went through and how much he still is going through. JJ keeps getting in fights, trying to protect his friends, standing up for them, and he’s on the back burner. He’s always the most loyal one in the group even tho sometimes he doesn’t show it. He’s gone through the most in the group. Yes so has John B, but people don’t understand how much he’s been through. People hate JJ because they think he’s a bad kid, all though boy and all but on the inside, he’s the most kindest loyalist, and giving person you’d ever come across. He loves his friends even when he can’t love himself. JJ is probably one of the best actors for his role I’ve ever seen. Love him so much❤️

He deserves to be loved, he deserves to find someone who will love him unconditionally because as I see it right now JJ is a better friend to the crew than they are to him! Don't get me wrong I know they all care for him but John B, Kiara and especially Pope need to do better. JJ is the only one who is constantly giving and giving even though he is the most broken out of them all. The others have been raised in a loving environment. Living with a parental figure who is supposed to take care of you, who you're supposed to trust and in reality it's the opposite of that? That shit messes with you. It stays with you for the rest of your life in one way or another. God my heart hurts so much for him, I just want him happy and content with his life pls writers!! So I saw this theory that said what if Sarah's mom had an affair with Luke and gave birth to twins but told Ward she was having just a girl and split them up then she left Luke to stay with Ward so that's what made Luke become an addict and that's why he'salways mad at J.J. cause J.J. reminds him of her and eventually Ward finds out about the affair so they get a divorce. I think that would be a cool concept but I just hope in season 2 we can learn more about J.J. and his personal life
In the show ward isn't even with Sarah's mom it's Sarah's step mom. I'm pretty sure Sarah's mom died.
"If you keep going down this road, you're going to end up like your dad." that is the worst insult to say to Jj or anyone in that situation. JJ isn't like his dad. He is loyal and loving and would do anything to keep his friends safe, especially Kie

i think the reason why he’s my favorite character is because he reminds me of me : i give my love to everyone just to receive nothing but hurt and pain back. you’re a mistake to everyone and no one gives a fuck till they need something, you take the blame for things that you didn’t do just to protect the ones you love. at the end of the day you got yourself because no one else has you.
