Strange, I have never loaded my film like that. Mine has always gone over, not under. Wonder if it makes a difference? I’ve never had any problems. Great vid!

There's less chance of the film slipping out of the take up spool if you insert it as shown. I learned that the hard way, losing the best part of a day's shooting before I realised!

On some cameras (either point and shoot disposables or the like or those with film guide markers (I.e. the Nikon L35AF), over the top load is fine. With the OM2 and n, use the slot and line up the the sprockets. You might also find with some other cameras, like the Pentax MX, that the film leader pushes all the way through the slot to the other side of the spool. This is good. This is the way. There are many loading mechanisms out there but this one is yours. ✌️❤️

What is that large zuiko lens in the top left corner of the video?

Hi, do you have any thoughts on troubleshooting this camera? I was gifted one, but it seems to get stuck after every shot (can’t look through the viewfinder - it’s black, can’t wind, can’t press the shutter button). My film lab tried to tell me it was something simple like the batteries, but I’ve changed them a couple times and tried everything else...

Mine does this, I haven’t found out the issue but I’ve figured out a way around it, push the auto manual dial all the way up to the check reset and I think that works! Well at least you can take another picture 😅

@@AKC0619 Yeah, totally! That’s exactly what I’ve been doing too. It also works if I leave it on B, but obviously I don’t want to for all shots... defeats the purpose 😌 I just finished a test roll, but haven’t had them developed yet, so I’m not sure how well the reset method works. Have your photos come out okay? Have you noticed that it does that even with fresh batteries?

Hi, good videos. I like your creation. Can I ask you where you bought the wooden grip for your camera? And which lenses you recommend?

Thanks for you support. The wooden handel was made by Moritz himself. He made from an L-braket, some wood and glue. Hope we could help:D

Why use a wide angle lens for shooting this video ?
